Chapter 41: Chapter 41

**Zion's POV**

I get a call from the doctor. He inform me that I should make her ready as soon as possible for the surgery and this could be never done until I tell her what she has as a disease.

I cannot hide from her anymore.

"I think I am all better right now. I don't need to visit hospital," she says brightly.

Actually it's about what she went last day, it's about what she has been going all these time and doesn't know about it.

It is because breast cancer symptoms are seen at the later stage and she hasn't still seen the symptoms maybe.

"Still we need to visit the hospital. I want you to meet someone at the hospital," I say as I increase the speed of the car. I am freaking serious right now and there is no joke regarding her health.

"Don't tell me you are going to set me up with some of your doctor's friend?" she chuckles and I become a little mad.

Why the hell would I set up my girlfriend with some other guy?

"Then it would be their last day on the earth. I will just hijack you after that," I blink my eyes to her and she chuckles a little louder.

How much I love her laughter? They are so much pure and so much innocent, just like her.

She turns the music on the car a bit louder and laughs out loud.

"I feel lively suddenly. It's been my dream that one day I will be on the same car with you and we're going to some place together. I thought I would never meet you all my life, " her voice softens and saddens as well.

"Don't say that. I am bound to find you and you are bound to love you. You are my fate and I love you so much Nan!" I say and she smiles.

I stop the car in front of the hospital.I get out from the car and open the door for her just like a gentleman. I had never been able to do this for her in the past but I want to do this for everyday now. Be a gentleman for her.

"What tests are still left? I really hate to go to hospital. I have a bad memories you know. I have seen my mother dying everyday in that hospital bed," she says.

"It's fine. That won't happen to you Nan!" I assure her and interlace her fingers with mine and kiss at the back of her palms.

We walk together to the department of cancer and she stops suddenly.

"Zion! I think we are in the wrong way. This isn't the same way we have come yesterday. This leads to the department of cancer. We aren't supposed to be here," she says and starts to walk back but I hold her hands and stop her in the middle.

"Wait! Nan! You aren't in the wrong department. This is where we were supposed to come," I say and she widens her eyes in whole shock.

"What's wrong with you? Is something wrong with you?" she caresses my cheeks panicking herself.

"Are you sick somewhere? Don't tell me you have... You have...," her voice stutters and she doesn't get to complete the sentence.

"Cancer! No, I don't have. It's just that I have friend in that department and he just wants us to check up all of his friends for cancer. That's all. We just have to go and check up," I lie. I fucking lie with her one more time.

"If so then, we have to go. There's nothing wrong in checking up," she holds my hands and walks ahead.

"So, which cancer department?" she asks.

"Breast Cancer," I say and her feet stops at the place where she is.

"Breast cancer? Why? I mean isn't this only for female?" Her brow arches.

"No, male can have that too," I say.

"Ohh! We both don't have. So we don't have to worry about that," she says and I nod.

She opens the door and sees the doctors inside.

"Miss Williams, glad to have you here," they greet and she awkwardly looks at me.

"Do they know me?" she asks and she reads my face for a while.

"Do I have some problem?" she asks and I stand aloof for a while.
