Chapter 85: Chapter 85

Rhazien
Landon.
Viktor sighed loudly and he put his hands in his pocket.
"I do not really want to talk about it," he replied and while a part of me told me to mind my business and let him go, another part of me was concerned and wanted to know why he seemed so affected by Javier's presence at the Gala. I walked away from behind the desk and stood in front of him.
"Are you rather going to bottle it up inside and let it continue tormenting and affecting you?" I asked him and walked closer to me. He kept walking towards me till we were two steps away from each other.
"I know that your concern may be genuine, but there are a lot of things that you do not understand," he said softly and he swallowed.
"Things that I cannot explain with words of mouth because they are either too heavy to say or sensitive for me," He added with a pained expression that made me even more curious and worried.
I nodded and I took a step closer to him, staring into his bright blue eyes.
"Then show me."
He looked at me in surprise and I nodded.
"Vampires can do that right?" I asked and he nodded in affirmation.
"Then show me," I said and he dropped his briefcase on a chair. He slowly raised his hand up, leaning closer to me and he held on to my head, with his forehead touching mine.
I felt a strange feeling in my head as I gave in to him and when I opened my eyes, I saw that I was standing somewhere else.
I was standing in a open field with bright green grass and little flower trees.
I heard some grants and I turned around to see two identical kids that were about 5 years old sparring with wooden swords.
I look at them closer and realise that those were Javier and Luther. I looked up and saw that there was a third boy sitting on the wooden bench of a swing that slowly moved back and forth. He didn't look anything like Viktor, but I could feel that he was the one.
As the two kids sparred, one of them sword flew out of his hands and landed in front of Viktor.
"Rhazien, pick that sword for me," the kid who has lost grip of his sword said. I looked at Viktor - Rhazien? And he didn't look as if he heard them at all. He was staring blankly into the air, being gently moved by the swing.
"Hey, Rhazien, didn't you hear him?!" The other one yelled, but Rhazien still didn't respond to them.
They looked angry and they dashed at him immediately.
"Didn't you hear me?" One of them pushed him by the chest, causing the swing to push back forcefully. Rhazien was about to be swung up, but he quickly jumped down and he landed on the floor with his palms, raising his head up to look at them immediately.
"Pick up that sword for him!" One of them yelled at Rhazien.
"Leave me alone Luther!" He yelled back at him.
The other one who I deducted was Javier immediately tried to hit Rhazien, but Rhazien grabbed his hand.
Luther also tried to hit him, and Rhazien grabbed his hand too.
All of a sudden, the two of them began to groan in pain. I saw that the spot on their hands where Rhazien was holding had a faint red glow and Rhazien's pupils were red in color.
The two of them continued to groan, unable to do anything.
"Rhazien!" Someone barked at him and Rhazien immediately blinked, gasping and letting go of them.
I turned around and saw a young man glaring at Rhazien.
"Grandpa, I'm sorry," Rhazien apologized and I sighed. Grandpa?? Vampires stop aging when they first turn. Those born Vampires stop aging when they first die and recover. Mostly neck snapping or loosing blood.
The man's countenance changed and he grinned widely.
"Womderful."
I blinked and the next instant, I was standing somewhere else.
I was in the corridor of a building and the darkness was only faintly illuminated by the torches on the wall.
"Grandpa, please, let me go!" I heard a loud cry of a child and I looked down the corridor.
Three Vampire men were dragging Rhazien who was tied up with silver chains. He was struggling with them, but chains were tied around his hands and neck.
"You have refused to feed on magic so you will be locked up!" Their Grandpa was was walking behind them said as they dragged Rhazien away.
They all walked past me and Rhazien was dragged into a room. The men let go of him and they quickly locked the door, trapping him inside.
"Grandpa please!" Rhazien cried from behind the door, hitting the metal door heavily.
I blinked and I was still standing in the same corridor.
I looked up at the room Rhazien had been locked up in and I didn't hear any sound again. It had probably been days or weeks since he had been locked up.
I slowly walked closer to the room and I heard Rhazien's voice
"Grandpa. I'm hungry. I'm thirsty. Help me." His voice sounded broken and weak. I looked at the door knob and I tried to grab it but I couldn't. I was a memory so I couldn't do anything.
I turned around as I heard footsteps, and sound of struggle.
Some Vampires were dragging a man and two women who were tied up in chains. I could sense that they were Mages and those chains were probably made from Signum which was Mage Kryptonite.
They were dragged to the room and I moved out of the way even though I knew they would probably just pass through me.
Their Grandpa was with them and as they opened the door, the three Mages were thrown into the room. I quickly slipped into the room before the door could be closed.
The room was dark and I could only see because of my wolf sight. Rhazien stood up as he saw the Mages and he leaned on the door.
"No.... no," he said weakly as if he was scared of the presence of the Mages.
He looked as if he was battling a strong urge in him and I thought maybe he was blood thirsty since he had been locked up here for so long, but what happened next shocked me.
He groaned as he slowly walked towards the Mages, struggling with himself to stop walking.
As he got to them, the man tried to fight him, but Rhazien's eyes turned a fiery red color and he kicked the man in the chest.
As the man got slammed against the wall, Rhazien grabbed the two Witches by the neck and he pressed his legs on the Wizard whose back was against the wall.
Although, this was just a memory, I could feel the strong energy in the air. Rhazien's eyes glowed in a bright red color as the Mages continued screaming and he sighed in satisfaction.
Dark lines formed on his face and he exuded a strong aura.
He let go of the mages who were already dead. Their bodies looked dried up and their skin was grey in color.
What the fuck is he??
