Chapter 75: Chapter 75

Evidences
Natasha.
I looked around, determined to find them, but my gaze stopped at the bar once more as I saw the rear view of someone who just appeared awfully familiar.
Bloody hell.
I walked to the bar gracefully, pushing down the urge to storm there and slam that ass against the wall.
"What the heck are you doing here?" I asked in an icy tone and the man standing before me stopped moving briefly, dropping his wine glass on the counter.
"Oh. Guess I have been found," Tyler replied and slowly turned around to face me with a smug smile.
"Tyler, why are you here?" I asked, glaring at him, although I could very much guess the damn reason.
"Umm. Between you and me, you don't want to hear it," He said and pressed his lips into a tight line. The two of us looked into the crowd, spotting the man who had just been secretly handed something.
"Say it Tyler!" I growled lowly and he smiled teasingly.
"I'm here because this mission is way too inportant and you would most likely fail," he said and I subconsciously clenched my fists. Of course, it was no news that my father trusted Tyler to be more effective than I am.
"If you'll excuse me," Tyler adjusted his tie and we looked sideways only to see that the man who had just been standing there had gone.
Fuck! I cursed beneath my breath.
I wanted to go look for him and I saw that Tyler was also about to stand up. Swiftly, I pulled out a silver dagger hidden in my purse and drove it through his hand into the stool.
He let out an almost silent groan and I smirked.
"Stay right here." I turned around and walked away. I tucked loose strands of my hair behind my right ear as I looked everywhere in the hall for the tall man in the wine tuxedo.
Where the hell was he? I have to get my hand on that stone before Tyler and prove him wrong. More importantly, I had to prove to my father that I was just as efficient as Tyler.
I looked at the door as I saw the edge of a wine tuxedo disappear. I quickly walked to the door and hurried out.
Fuck! I cursed once again as I saw the man in the wine tuxedo stop by a black BMW. The windows rolled down and he handed something to a man I couldn't see.
The windows rolled down again and I quickly ran forward, but no one seemed to take notice of me and the car drove off.
Bloody Hell.
I ran to my car and opened the door, climbing in quickly and igniting the engine as I drove after the black BMW.
So much stress for a freaking stone I'll never need.

I sighed and slammed the book on my desk shut. This was the 5th I had picked up, read a chapter and closed. I couldn't concentrate at all especially when I knew that today was the day my fate would be decided at Gemini.
I woke up so early this morning and I couldn't get my mind off it. I already had my bath and got dressed, waiting for when Dante would come and tell me it was time to go.
He said he would get the evidences to proof that I was innocent, but throughout the seven days that I've been here, he never for once, talked to me about it.
I had no idea about the information he had or if he had evidences strong enough to protect me.
I reached into my drawer and took out my phone. It had been long since I visited any social media network.
I dropped the phone instinctively as I heard a knock on the door, then I realized that I wasn't in my dad's house so I didn't have to hide from anyone.
I knew that it would be Dante so I quickly stood up and I walked to the door, opening it..
"Good morning," I said with a smile and he simply nodded. He was already dressed to go out and I looked at him. He was wearing a white and blue shirt that showed the outlines of his muscles and he draped a navy blue jacket on his arm that matched the navy blue trouser he was wearing.
I realized that I was still standing at the door so I quickly moved out of the way and opened the door wider for him to come in.
"I believe that you are already prepared to go now," he said and I nodded.
"Yes." I looked down at the dress I was wearing. It was a wine dress that reached a little beneath my knees. It had a wide neck that hugged my shoulders tightly and tiny ropes that I tied around to the back of my neck.
"Let's go," Dante said, and he was about to walk to the door, but he stopped and looked at the table beside my bed.
I placed my breakfast there and it was still untouched.
"You haven't eaten?" Dante asked, raising his eyebrows and I nodded in affirmation.
"I couldn't eat," I replied. Knowing what I was going to face at Gemini, I lost my appetite.
"You have to eat cause we don't know when we'll be back and you'll need your strength," Dante said. He was even confident that I would be coming back with him so I once again wondered what evidences he had gotten.
I nodded and I walked to my bed, sitting down and picking up the plate.
I began to eat and although, It didn't seem like I could taste what I was eating, I continued since Dante was sitting at my desk, waiting for me to finish my food.
He was taking a look at the book on my desk and as I looked up, I caught him staring at me, but he quickly looked away.
"I'm done," I said and drooped the plate on the table, standing up.
Dante also stood up and he walked closer to me.
"You've got something...." Dante pointed at his mouth and I felt so embarrassed, quickly wiping my lips.
"Not there," he said and he stretched out his hands, using his thumb to wipe the stain off the left corner of my lips.
He wiped his hand against his handkerchief without taking his eyes off me. I gulped as he stared at me with his bright blue orbs and I felt rooted to the spot where I was.
He slowly moved closer to me and his hands pushed aside a strand of my hair that was in my face.
He leaned in closer and with our faces so close, I could feel his breath linger on my skin.
His eyes flickered to my lips and I gulped again. Hard.
Oh my God, he was going to kiss me
