Silver Plated Wings

Dante.

I looked front and sighed in relief as I saw a door that most likely led out of the building.

Suddenly the door opened and I stepped back a bit as Javier walked in. He looked around for a while before spotting me and a wicked smile lit up on his face.

"Oh. Won't you look at that?" Javier smiled widely and I quickly signaled Nathan with a slight and unnoticeable flick of my finger for him to go back so Javier won't see him.

Three other Vampires walked in after Javier and I was guessing they were his guards.

"Alpha Dante looking so miserable in my custody," he stated and I clenched my fists tightly.

"Just let me go, and we can pretend like none of this ever happened," I said even though I knew that Javier wouldn't let this opportunity go, but I was stalling him so Nathan could find another way to get out of here.

He slowly climbed back up the stairs and he froze as the stair creaked loudly.

Javier's eyes darted in the direction of the stairs, but he couldn't see Nathan because of the wall.

Nathan quickly ran up the last step and walked away.

"You two." Javier pointed at two of his men and he pointed at the stairs.

The two of them nodded and they quickly ran past me, going up the stairs.

The two of them climbed up at the same time and all of a sudden, a step gave way beneath them and while one of them managed to jump to the next step, the other one fell to the ground with a wooden plank impaling his abdomen.

Javier looked at him in disgust and rolled his eyes before facing me, while the other guard went to help the one who fell.

"I'll take what you just said as a joke," Javier said and he chuckled. I knew that I couldn't fight my way out of here even if I was at my full strength so I really hope Nathan can manage to get out of here and let them know where I am.

Still, I had to try.

I ran up the stairs, but suddenly stopped as Javier stood at the top of the stairs.

Damn! Vampires were fast.

I turned around to head towards the door again, but he zoomed in front of me and threw his fist in my face.

I staggered backward and winced as I felt my blood on my face.

"You are going nowhere," Javier stated. I looked around and picked up a wooden plank, breaking it against my right thigh to form a stake.

I dashed at Javier and I tried to stab him in the heart, but he zoomed out of the way and kicked my side.

I was too slow and I hated it.

I dashed at him again and tried to stake him in the heart, but he suddenly grabbed the stake and twisted it out of my hand.

He swiftly took off his jacket and two large wings sprouted out of his back. He slashed his silver plated wings at me and they hit chest, cutting open the injury that was already healing again.

I cried in pain, holding my chest and he slammed me against the wall with his silver plated wings held to my neck.

"Don't test your luck with me." Javier gritted his teeth and I was angry that I was so vulnerable.

All of a sudden, the door flung open and two unexpected people stepped in. Killian and Natasha.

What the fuck was Natasha doing here?!

Javier let go of me and he faced the two of them.

"I see that you've come to rescue your Alpha, guess what? It's not a full moon so you came here to get your asses beaten," Javier's wings folded back into his body and he rubbed his fists together.

I looked at Natasha and she was glaring defiantly at Javier. She shouldn't be here. Javier was a Vampire general and he would easily beat the best Werewolves on a normal day.

"But I don't need a full moon to beat you ass." Natasha clenched her fist.

The third guard walked forward to help Javier, but I moved away from the wall and threw a kick up his jaw.

He staggered backward and tried to make another move, but Killian quickly intercepted him.

I faced Natasha again who charged at Javier with bright golden eyes, and extended claws and fangs. I don't think I would ever be able to get over seeing a werewolf transform on a normal day.

Javier was also clearly surprised, but eh shrugged confidently. I wished I could do anything right now, but there was large cut in my chest and the palm I placed on it couldn't stop all of the blood flow.

Natasha slashed her claws at Javier, but he zoomed out of the way. He was about to kick her, but she turner around in time and used her arms to block the kick.

The two of them moved away from each other, staring at each other and Javier's lips raised up into a smile.

He seemed amused and most of all, he felt challenged.

He swiftly pulled two long daggers out of his sleeves and the sunlight glinted on the sharp silver blade.

He flipped around in the air and his both hands swung in Natasha's direction..

She smoothly bent over and one of his hands passed over her, as the other hand swung at her face, she threw her leg up, kicking Javier's hand from below.

Javier's left hand forcefully flung up and the dagger flew out of his grip, clattering to the ground.

Javier balanced himself and he slashed the other dagger at her, but she moved back a bit, causing the dagger to slash the air inches away from her abdomen.

Natasha bent down swiftly and she slid her right foot across the floor, tripping Javier and causing him to land on his back on the floor.

I was really impressed by Natasha's fighting so far. I didn't know that she could fight so well, the wolf agility and instinct apart.

The second dagger flew out of Javier's grip as he fell to the floor.

Natasha was standing over him and Javier gritted his teeth to silence the cry of pain. His hands slowl searched the floor and he finally grabbed a dagger.

He flipped up suddenly, planting double kicks in Natasha's chest and he slashed her arm with the dagger.

Blood spurted out of her arm and Natasha cried in pain, staggering backward.

I moved forward so I could help her, but Javier slams his palm on my chest, pushing me back.

All of a sudden, his wings sprouted out of his back again and he suddenly drove his left wing in Natasha's abdomen.
