Chapter 126: Chapter 126

Mental Barrier
Natasha.
I wanted to be mad at Rhazien, but I couldn't, I saw what happened in Landon's memories and he didn't mean to do all of those things.
He regretted everything so much the instant he became himself.
This was all Pedro's fault, he had the most angelic outward appearance, but beneath all those layers of charm and positivity, he was really a beast.
"Did they mention when they would be coming back?" I asked and Nathan pressed his lips into a tight line, shaking his head.
"They didn't, but it could be at anytime we don't expect."
"Then we don't wait for them to attack us, we go to them first," I said quickly and I walked past Nathan.
"What?"
Nathan ran past me and stood in front of me.
I sighed, stopping before I could collide with him and I looked up at him.
"What are you talking about, what do you want to do?" He asked me with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh, calm down. I'm not going to chase after them. I can't be that irrational," I replied and I continued walking. He quickly stepped aside before I could collide with him.
I've done this a few times in highschool and even when I wanted to track down Bastien, but I've never done this on a large scale.
I stopped as I got to the part of the hallway where the confrontation happened earlier and I looked closely at the cracked wall where Rhazien smashed into earlier.
I smiled as I saw blood stains on the wall.
I looked up at Nathan and smiled, "I'm going to track down Bastien."
"What?!" Nathan exclaimed in surprise.
"That's impossible, how can you do that?!"
"I did track Bastien when he broke out the last time," I said, rolling my eyes and crossing my arms over my chest.
"Yes, he was within the pack, that was different," Nathan retorted.
"If you can explain how I did it, I might agree," I stated.
"It's basically the same thing, just with a smaller tracking anchor and a farther distance."
"Yeah, whatever."
"Now, stand aside so I can do this without distraction," I said and he moved aside. I sighed before closing my eyes and placing my hands on the wall where the dried blood stain was.
I felt a connection with the blood immediately and it felt dark. I tried tracing the darkness and it was working for a while before it suddenly stopped.
It felt like a mental barrier that I needed to break through. I knew I could break through it, and I pushed, but I felt too weak to do so.
I opened my eyes suddenly and sighed in frustration.
"Let me guess, you couldn't," Nathan stated and I ignored him, placing my hands on the wall again.
The same thing happened and I hit my fist on the wall in frustration.
"Let's just wait for Dante and Landon to come back with the dagger," Nathan suggested, but I shook my head.
I can do this. I'm simply too weak to do it. I need some energy.
**
"What in Selene's fury is wrong with you Natasha!" Nathan yelled as I dropped the empty can on the floor.
"I told you I need energy to get this done," I said and he sighed.
"You just emptied all the fridge in the building," he stated and I nodded.
"Yes, which is why I need to try again." I walked back to the wall and I placed my hands on it, closing my eyes.
I reached the mental barrier again and I slowly pushed against it, but it resisted me and I felt a mental hit, causing me to open my eyes forcefully.
Ouch. I placed my hands on my forehead and gritted my teeth. I felt a slight throbbing in my head but it soon disappeared.
I heard a car drive in outside and door opened.
Dante walked in and he was shocked to see the mess I had caused. God! What is happening to me? Why am I so agitated?
I've never been one to make the work of servants harder intentionally.
These drinks were of no use, there has to be something that I can do and these doubting Thomas-es are not going to believe I can until I actually do it.
"Wait here, I'm going to see Jared," Dante said and he ran out of the house. I soon heard his car drive off again.
I sighed and rested on the wall, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Where's the dagger?" Nathan asked Landon and I stood up straight.
"We got it. It's with Dante," Landon replied and I leaned back on the wall, satisfied to hear that.
I heard Dante's car drive back and he walked back in, holding a bottle.
He threw the bottle at me and I caught it, looking at it closely. It was filled with a clear brown liquid with tiny particles.
"What is this?"
"It's a herb and Jared gave it to me, it's suppose to boost your strength," he replied.
I stared at the bottle. Herbs. I hate herbs.
If this could help me track down Rhazien, I have no choice but to drink it. As I opened the bottle, a pungent smell hit my nostrils and I squeezed my face in disgust before quickly gulping it down.
"It's damn bitter," I threw the bottle on the floor quickly, feeling like throwing up. I could feel that I was getting more energetic. It was actually working.
"How do you feel now?" Dante asked.
"Better. Hmm. I feel much better."
"Good, try again."
I nodded and walked turned around to face the wall, I placed my hand on it and closed my eyes.
I followed the darkness again and finally got to the mental barrier I had again. I groaned as I pushed against it until it finally broke. Immediately, my mind began to move everywhere at once with full speed until I found Rhazien. I heard his voice and a bit of his surrounding.
I couldn't hold it much longer and my eyes opened.
"Got em," I said with a smile..
"Great, where are they?" Dante asked.
"I don't know exactly, but I saw Rhazien and he was in a dark place, there were boxes and machines," I explained, trying to recall the things I saw.
"I saw something else too, there was a toy fatory around," I added.
"Yes, yes," Landon muttered and I faced him.
"I know where that is."
