Energy Drink
Dante
I pulled up as I got to the main pack mansion. I retrieved the car keys and climbed down from records the car, slamming the door shut.
Natasha shouted be awake by now, I thought. I walked up to the door and I opened it, walking in.
I froze as I saw what the hallway had become.
What the fuck?! What the hell happened here?!
I looked at all the cans and bottles of drinks scattered everywhere on the floor. I looked up at Natasha whose hands were on the wall and she was groaning in frustration.
"Aarrgh," she grunted and took her hands off the wall.
"What is happening here?" I asked Nathan who was crossing his arms and staring at Natasha like he wanted to see if she could achieve whatever she was doing.
"Natasha thinks that we shouldn't wait for Pedro to attack us and that we should go to them first once we have the dagger," Nathan replied and I stopped moving for a while, thinking about what he just said.
That totally made sense. I was just thinking about how we would sleep with one eyes open as we don't know when they would hit us.
Now that we have the dagger, it would be better if we went to them first. That way, we would be mentally prepared for the confrontation.
There's one problem though, how do we know when are going to be?
"Good idea, but how do we know where they are going to be?" I asked.
"Natasha thinks that she can track down Rhazien with the blood stain on the wall," Nathan replied and I looked at the blood stain on the wall.
What? Track him down? She can do that?
"I don't think, I know I can, I'm just drained and week because of Rhazien's siphoning earlier." Natasha shook her head in disagreement.
"So you decided to take energy drinks to boost your energy," Landon said and chuckled.
Well, this energy drinks would be of little to no help since we have a different metabolism from humans. The whole floor was littered with cans and bottles right now.
If I were the servants, even though I can't say it, I'll curse her so much in my mind.
The Petrova witch did say she was special so it was possible that Natasha can do this. This is the perfect opportunity to have rest of mind and end this once and for all rather than waiting around to be attacked.
"If you really think you can do this, then we need to find you something better to boost your strength," I said.
"What!" Nathan exclaimed and scoffed.
"What if they are in their Mystic Fangs fortress, are we going to attack them first?" Nathan asked.
He's got a point. We can't make a move first if they are surrounded by so many Vampires.
"But what if they are not. There's no harm in trying," I stated.
"Wait here, I'm going to see Jared," I said and I quickly ran out of the building. I climbed back into my car and drove to the first clinic.
I pulled up as I got to the clinic, hurriedly climbed from the car and ran into the clinic.
Jared was talking to a patient and I waited for him, my left foot subconsciously tapping against the ground.
He soon finished with the patient and he walked up to me.
"Alpha Dante, how may I help you?" He asked.
"Yeah, so I want to know if you have anything that can boost the energy of a werewolf?" I asked and he looked confused.
"I don't understand you."
"Like an energy drink. Something that'll boost one's strength," I explained.
He remained silent for a while, thinking about it.
"Yes, it's an herb and we use it to help badly injured wolves to recover quickly," Jared said. Hell yeah.
"Great. I need one of those," I said hastily.
"Actually, it prevents death most times and we are low on supplies right now," Jared said and I sighed.
"Just bring it and stock up as soon as possible," I requested and he nodded.
"I'll be right back." I watched as he disappeared into another part of the clinic and I sat on a chair as I waited for him.
I stood up as I saw him come back with a transparent bottle in hand. It was filled with a brown herb and had some particles in it.
I grabbed it from him and muttered, "Thanks" before running out of the clinic.
I climbed back into my car and drove back to the main pack mansion.
I pulled up and ran back inside where Natasha, Nathan and Landon were still waiting.
"Here, drink this," I said and threw the bottle to Natasha..
She caught it and looked at it closely, "what's this?"
"It's a herb and Jared gave it to me, it's suppose to boost your strength," I replied.
She opened the bottle and hesitated for a while before gulping it down and I watched as her expression looked sour.
"It's damn bitter," she said as she finished the herb and she threw the bottle on the floor.
"How do you feel now?" I asked..
"Better. Hmm. I feel much better," she replied and I nodded in satisfaction.
"Good, try again."
She placed her hands on the wall again and she closes her eyes. I sighed and leaned on the wall, looking at her expectantly.
I really wanted this to work even though I didn't have an explanation for how she could do this.
I watched as her eyeballs moved to and fro beneath her closed eyelids and waited for her to let us know what was happening.
I could see that she was searching or scanning, whatever she was doing and she was doing it just with the small blood stain on the wall.
She gritted her teeth and pressed her hands against the walls. Her eyes balls began to swing even faster before her eyes suddenly shot open..
She faced me smiling, "Got em."
