Head Snapping
Luther.
"Why can't we just go back to the fortress?" I asked in annoyance and leaned on a table as I watched Papa attending to Rhazien like he was a bruised child.
"I need to examine your brother and the equipments I need are not there," Papa replied and he adjusted the bright lamp that was set directly over Rhazien who was lying flat on a table.
I looked around the abandoned factory we were in with a squeezed face. There's not even a proper place for me to sit down.
"Why can't you just get the equipments there the same way you got them here," I argued and Papa hissed, raising his head up.
"Do you see my Witch here. It'll be better if you stopped questioning me and let me focus here," Papa said in irritation and I are retreated to the other side of th large room, sitting on a stack of boxes.
"So, can you explain what happened to you earlier?" Papa asked Rhazien and I recalled seeing Rhazien fling back from that lady.
Who is that lady by the way and how was she related to them? That was the second time I would see her, the first time was at Duchester Hall and I didn't pay any attention to her.
She seemed close with Dante and she can't possibly be his mate, I heard how his mate was killed. I chuckled.
"I was siphoning her, but instead of her magic adding to my strength, it felt like it was poisoning me and I was unable to pull back until it built up and pushed me away," Rhazien explained.
Okay, who the fuck is that lady. I've never met anyone who has gotten a point on Rhazien.
"Do you know how she did it?" Papa asked him.
"No."
"Alright, stand up," Papa said and climbed down from the bed. Papa grabbed a metal rod and placed it on a table before Rhazien.
"Her Magic in you, separate it and blast this metal with it," Papa said and Rhazien nodded.
He stretched out his hands and groaned before dark blue blasts fired out of his hands and hit the metal.
I watched as the rod slowly disintegrated into tiny particles and when Rhazien stopped, there was only a small heap of particles on the blackened table.
Holy mother of shenanigans.
Papa slowly walked to the table and he pinched some of the particles, rubbing his fingers.
"I'm going to examine them now," Papa said and he picked up rubber gloves, wearing them.
"They are here." My Vampire hearing picked up words from outside and I recognized the voice.
Holy shit!
Papa and Rhazien also seemed to have heard them and they stopped what they were doing, focusing on the door.
The metal door flung open and the people I expected to see walked in.
"Wow. I've heard a lot about you, but I never heard that you could be so stupid to make a move like this," Papa said and Dante scoffed.
"Or maybe you're just annoyed that you aren't the predator this time," Dante retorted and I saw Papa get annoyed.
"You became the prey the instant you stepped into this room. An helpless prey at that," Papa retorted.
"I'm not so sure about that." Dante pulled out a dagger and held it up. It had a long blade that had a blue glow.
What is that dagger?
I looked at Papa but he also looked like j had no idea what it was.
"That was the dagger the Crevitore Witches used to make me weak," Rhazien said and my eyes widened in surprise.
Holy Shmoly! How did they get that..
"They didn't make you weak," Landon said bitterly, "they only brought back your humanity and broke Pedro's hold on you!"
I've seen the way Landon looks at Rhazien and I had a feeling, he and Rhazien were more than just business partners.
"That's enough!" Papa yelled and he took off his gloves.
"Rhazien, stay back, Luther, let's get that dagger from them," Papa said and I almost asked, "what?!"
Papa wanted to fight them? It has been long I've seen Papa fight, this is gonna be so much fine.
I smiled and I climbed down from the stack of boxes.
My fangs slowly extended and my eyes darkened. I zoomed towards them and tried to hit Natasha, but Nathan got in the way and he grabbed my hand.
I smirked and wings sprouted from my back. I instantly slashed his hand with my wings and he let go of me, wincing in pain.
He came to attack me again and I sighed in frustration. I wanted to fight with Natasha, not him. She hit me yesterday and I have to get even with her.
"Get out of my way, you beast," I planted double kicks in his abdomen and threw my elbow in his face.
He groaned and fell down to the ground. I was now standing directly before Natasha, but just as I was about to attack her, I saw the dagger get knocked out of Dante's hand and it landed at the other side of the room.
Natasha immediately breezed past me, but Rhazien got in her way quickly and he stepped on the dagger.
I smirked and Nathasha glared at Rhazien.
"Step away from the dagger, we're trying to help you here," Natasha said.
"No, you step back when you can still breath," Rhazien retorted with a rough, coarse voice.
"I think we all know what that resulted to."
"Oh, I don't need to siphon you to kill you," Rhazien replied and slowly pulled the dagger back with his leg.
Natasha tried to push him, but he blasted her with magical energy and she staggered back.
She charged at him again and she tried to hit him, but Rhazien suddenly grabbed her head with both hands.
Head snapping equals death, only Vampires would get revived since we are already literally dead.
"Rhazien, no, no," Dante slowly moved forward, and I smiled in satisfaction.
"Good riddance," Rhazien said and instantly snapped Natasha neck, till her head was facing backward.
Damn.
"Natashaaaaaa!"
