JAYDEN

I was busy having a nice chat with Mira when Bella's friend walked up to us. "Hi, Jayden. Hi, girl" she said.

"Hi" Mira greeted.

I stared at her wondering what made her come here. Since I couldn't get her name in the first place because Bella never attempted to introduce us to each other, I smiled. "Hey, what are you doing here?"

She smiled. "Nothing much, Bella wants to have a word with you. Hope you don't mind?"

I furrowed my brows. "Bella?". She nodded. "Did she say why she wants to talk?"

She shrugged. "No"

I looked at Bella. She looked so tensed and I wondered why. When she saw me looking at her, she looked away. I sighed. "Ok. I will go see her"

She smiled. "I will keep your girlfriend busy"

I chuckled. "She's not my girlfriend. Not yet though"

I heard Diana scoffed but she covered it up with a smile. "Good to hear that" she answered

I stood up. "Mira, let me go see her"

Mira nodded. Though I could see the disappointment on her face, she tried to hide it as much as she can, with a smile. I sighed. I know I cane here with Mira and is suppose to stay with her but seeing Bella so tense, I had to go see her. Bella's friend sat down to have a chat with Mira. I sighed and turn to go but stopped. "Sorry, I don't even know your name. Bella did not have the chance to tell me your name"

She smiled. "I'm Diana but you can call me Dia just like the rest of my friends does"

I nodded. "It's good to meet you, Dia"

She smiled. "Go. You don't have to worry about Mira, I will keep her company. And I am sure we will make a great team. Am I right Mira?"

Mira nodded. "Sure". She stared at me, giving me the are you leaving me here with a stranger?. I gave her a reassuring smile and she smiled too. She looked more relaxed than she was a few seconds ago.

I sighed. "See you ladies, soon"

I left them to meet Bella. When she saw me coming, she became more tensed. I walked closer to her. "Are you, ok?"

She nodded. "Yes"

"Dia said..."

"Don't mind whatever Dia said to you. I am not jealous, ok?"

I furrowed my brows. "Jealous?. What are you talking about?"

She batted her lashes. "Y-you. W-what did Diana told you?"

"She told me you wanted to talk to me"

"T-that's all?"

I nodded. "That's what she said"

She bit her lower lip. She muttered something. I couldn't get all the words she said but I was able to pick a few words. I thought she told him. The rest was more like a whisper and straining my ear did not help matter too. "Told me what?" I asked

She waved her hand. "Never mind"

I sighed and folded my hands. "So, what did you want to see me for?"

She rolled her eyes. "I can't remember saying that. Dia can be a pain in the ass. And by the way, how did you know her as Dia?. She told you that?"

I nodded. "She said I can call her Dia just like the rest of her friends does"

She groaned. "She already considered you as her friend. You must be damn lucky"

I furrowed my brows. "She doesn't consider people as her friend?" I asked. I was curious to know.

She smiled. "She hardly does that. She does only when you gain her trust. I don't how you were able to gain her trust in such a short time

I smiled. "If that is the case, I do consider myself lucky"

She nodded. "You should". As we talked, I noticed she was more relaxed now. But I couldn't take my mind for the jealous part when talked about. I wondered why she told me she wasn't jealous. She poked me, jerking me out of my thought. "Are you ok?" She asked

I nodded. "Is there anything you want me to know?. I mean anything you want to tell me"

She shook her head. "No, you should go back to Mira. It isn't nice keeping a lady waiting"

I stared at her. Though her voice sounded so confident and without void, her facial expression showed how sad she is.

"Are you sure, you're ok?"

She nodded. "Sure. Tell Dia, to meet me at the bar"

I nodded. "Ok. See you around". She only smiled but said nothing. Since I had nothing to say and she seems not to have anything to say either, I waved at her and returned to Mira and Dia. They were in a deep conversation, talking and laughing when I got there. They didn't even notice my presence. They were so carried away by their discussion, I had to clear my throat for the second time before they stopped talking.

"Jay, you're back," Mira said

I rolled my eyes and folded my arms. "What are you girls talking about that you did not notice my presence?"

"Diana here was just telling me some funny things she did in her childhood days. You need to listen to them. They are hilarious" Mira said amidst laughter.

I rolled my eyes. "I will love too. But Bella wants Dia to come over"

"Umm. Don't tell me she's leaving" Mira whined

Dia chuckled. "Come on. We can always hook up any other time"

Mira widened her eyes. "Are you been serious?"

Dia smiled. "Of course I am. Let me have your number". They exchanged numbers and Dia stood up. She walked closer to Mira and pecked her. "Bye, Mira"

"Bye Dia"

Dia rolled her eyes and I chuckled. I knew she did not want Mira to call her Dia but she doesn't want her to know she doesn't want it. "Bye Diana"

She chuckled. "Bye Jayden"

Dia left and I sat down. "Sorry I had to leave"

Mira smiled. "It's nothing. Dia did not make me miss you so much"

I smiled. It's good to hear that she miss me even though she did not say it directly. I relaxed. "So, what were you both discussing?"

Mira chuckled. "It's a secret"

I frowned. "I thought you wanted me to listen?"

"Yeah. But I wanted Dia to tell you that herself"

I rolled. "I think you should call her Diana not Dia"

She furrowed her brows. "Why did you say that?"

I smiled. "Nothing. I just think she will like the name, Diana"

She shrugged. "Ok, if you say so"
