BELLA

"Are you not going to the studio?" Lucy asked. She was ready to go out on another date.

I sat up from the bed. "No"

She furrowed her brows. "Are you trying to avoid Jayden?"

I rolled my eyes. "No. I will I do that?"

"Because you have been doing that for two days now"

I groaned. "I did not do that"

"You skipped the gym yesterday morning and I know you don't do that. You did not go to the studio yesterday and you're trying to stay back today. How can you explain that?"

"I did not go to the gym because I woke up late. I..."

"Did you just say you woke up late?"

I rolled my eyes. "Lucy, stop trying to make me spill out the words in me. Please"

She chuckled. "I knew something was wrong. What did he do this time?"

I sighed. "Nothing. I just wanted him to have space for himself"

"Did he complained?. I mean has he showed any sign of not being comfortable with your presence?"

"No, I just think he needed time for himself"

She rolled her eyes. "I don't think Jayden will want this"

I sighed. "It's for the best"

She stood up. "If you say so". I nodded. "I should get going"

I smiled. "Remember our last discussion"

She nodded. "I won't. Thanks, Bella"

She left my room and I stood up to go to the kitchen to get a pack of biscuits and a glass cup of orange juice. I was about to close the door but the ringing of my phone made me stopped. I turned back to pick my phone. I groaned when I saw who the call was. I knew picking up her call means being ready to hear her yell and complain. And If I don't pick her call, she won't stop calling. "Dia?"

"Do you even care about me?" She yelled

I groaned. "Dia, I do call you"

She chuckled. "I wasn't talking about that. Why didn't you tell me the Caribbean Island is a nice place to be?"

I furrowed my brows. "Of course it is but why do you suddenly have interest in islands?"

She chuckled. "That's because I love what I see"

I batted my lashes. "You like what you see?"

"Yes"

"Are you on any Caribbean Island?"

She chuckled. "You should be asking if I am in St. Vincent Island"

"Are you for real?"

"Of course. Katie is here with me?"

"Y-you did not tell me you were coming"

"It was supposed to be a surprise for your birthday but Diana couldn't hide her excitement and decided to call you" Katie answered

I rolled my eyes. "You came from New York to celebrate my birthday?". I was still in shock that they came from New York to give me a surprise birthday party.

"We did. It was supposed to be a surprise like Katie said but she blew our cover" Dia answered

I could hear Katie groaned. "I did not blow our cover, you did. You made her know we are here" Katie said

"I did not tell her we are here, she found out herself but you told her our purpose of coming" Diana defended.

"if you had not told her we are in St. Vincent. I wouldn't have mentioned the birthday party" Katie replied

I batted my lashes. Did she just say birthday party? "You guys planned a birthday party for me?" I asked

"Now, who mentioned birthday party. It's you" Dia yelled

Katie scoffed. "You're blaming me?. Then you were the one who blew our cover. You..."

I groaned. "You know what, it doesn't matter who blew the cover. Can we hang out?. I am so bored"

Dia chuckled. "That's the reason I called in the first place. I am sure you know nice places we could go to"

I smiled. "Trust me on that"

"You can come with that new boyfriend of yours. I need to see what he looks like"

I batted my lashes. New boyfriend?. What is she talking about?. "I don't get you"

"Come on. You don't have to pretend. You know who I am talking about"

"I don't know. Why would I want to pretend if I do?"

She scoffed. "Whatever". "I am talking about your student"

I frowned. Mom must have told her about Jayden. "He's not my boyfriend"

Did chuckled. "You what me to believe that?. Mom said you both are close and he even rejected your love"

I groaned. Did mom say all that to her?. I thought we agreed to keep it a secret. That's the reason I told her everything. I frowned. Mom shouldn't have to tell Diana. It would have been better if she told Katie, instead. I rolled my eyes. "Dia, it isn't what you think. I only told him how..."

"Bella, we will talk about this when see. Go get dressed I can't wait to visit places"

I sighed. "Ok, bye"

"Oh, mine. This place is nice" Dia complimented. "I can't believe you did not come with that boyfriend of yours. What did you call his name again?"

"Jayden. And like I said before. He isn't my boyfriend"

She chuckled. "Maybe he is your fiance then"

I frowned. "Why will you call him my fiance"

"I don't know"

I rolled my eyes. "You're such a...". I sighed. "Whatever"

She chuckled. "Do you know what I miss about you?"

"Nah"

"This attitude of yours"

I furrowed my brows. "What do you mean"

"The fact that you hardly get angry"

I rolled my eyes. "And you use that to take advantage of me"

She chuckled. "I did not. But why didn't you bring him along"

I groaned. "Can you stop talking about him?"

She rolled her eyes. "If you want me to stop talking about him then get me a glass of champagne"

I groaned. "Why can't you get it yourself?"

"Then you want me to keep talking about him"

I sighed. "Ok, I will get it for you"

Katie chuckled. "I don't mind a glass of champagne too"

I groaned. "Are you both sending me?"

"Whatever" Dia mumbled and I groaned. I stood up and headed for the bar.

"Hey Bella," someone said from behind

I knew it was Jayden and had to wonder why he was here. I turned. "Hi"

He smiled. "What are you doing here?"

I rolled my eyes. "Having fun with my friends"

He furrowed his brows. "Friends?"

I nodded. "Yes". I pointed to the place where Diana and Katie were seated. "They are over there"

see. But I haven't seen you with any friends except Lucy"

"Yes. They came from New York actually"

"Wow"

"So what are you doing here?"

"I came to chill out with a friend"

Ethan?. No. I don't think so. He would have called Ethan's name if he came with Him. It has to be a new friend. I rolled my eyes. "Who?"

"Mira"

I furrowed my brows. "Mira?. Like Mirabella?"

He chuckled. "No, it's Miranda. I asked that same question when she first told me her name"

I rolled my eyes. "Is it the same girl you were talking to at the restaurant?"

He nodded. "Yes"

I sighed. I wanted to say something but when I saw Diana coming in our direction, I changed my mind. "I should get going".

I turned. "Where groaned..."

"Bella, what are you going here with... You must be Jayden?" Diana said

I groaned. "Dia let's go"

She ignored me. "You are Jayden, right?"

Jayden nodded. "Yes"

She chuckled. "Did she tell you she will be celebrating her birthday in two days?"

I batted my lashes. What is Diana trying to do?. Jayden widened his eyes in surprise. "No, she didn't"

I nudged Diana so she wouldn't say anything next but she ignored me. "I can't believe she did not tell you. But don't worry. Give me your number. I will text you the address where the party will hold"

I groaned. Is she for real?. "There is going to be a party?" Jayden asked

Diana nodded. "I will text you the address". They exchanged numbers.

"See you around, Bella," Jayden said and left

I turned to face Diana and frowned. "What was that for?"

She rolled her eyes. "He calls you by your name?. That's so romantic"

I groaned. "This isn't time for a joke, ok?. Why did you tell him about my birthday?"

"He's very cute you know. You've got good eyes"

I rolled my eyes. "Diana why did you tell him about my..."

"Because you couldn't tell him yourself"

"That's because he has a girlfriend"

She chuckled. "You mean that girl over there?"

I rolled my eyes. "Yes"

She laughed. "Are you for real"

I groaned. "It isn't funny"

"Seeing you get this jealous is funny"

I rolled my eyes. "I am not jealous"

"Of course you are"

"I am..."

"I am telling him"

I batted my lashes. "You said what?"

"I will go tell Jayden that you're not comfortable with the girl sitting with him"

I frowned. "You won't do that"

She chuckled. "Dare me!!"

I watched Diana walk closer to them. She whispered something to Jayden and he stared at me. I batted my lashes. What has Diana tell him and why is he staring at me?.
