"My conditions are that you can't reveal our marriage and I don't want any wedding ceremony."

As soon as Lily spoke, the entire living room fell silent.

A few seconds later, a very calm and deep voice broke the silence.

"I agree", Adrian spoke.

Jennifer sighed in relief that her son didn't back off. She would agree to anything until her son and Lily were to be married.

Since there was nothing else left, the two families congratulated each other.

"Lily, this is for you. In chinese tradition, we call it betrothal gift. This is our heirloom that my mother in law passed to me", Jennifer said with a smile on her face as she handed Lily a small velvet box.

Lily opened the box to reveal a simple necklace with red rose shaped pendent and earrings. Lily who loved simple things liked the design of the necklace.

"Back then, my great grandmother didn't like extravagant things so my great grandfather bought this for her", George said with a small smile lingering on his lips.

"The heck! This heirloom is passed on from such long time? How come it's still in great condition?!", Ryan exclaimed only to receive a glare from his father.

"It's because all the owners of the heirloom were responsible people", George said proudly.

Soon it was monday and Adrian went to pick up Lily.

She came out wearing a red off shoulder bodycon dress that reached her knees and a pair of red ankle strap stilletos. Her hairs were tied in a bun giving her an elegant look. Her face had only red lipstick and eyeliner.

She was wearing the bracelet that she bought from the auction and the heirloom necklace on her neck with the earrings.

Lily looked so beautiful that Adrian couldn't pull his eyes away from her.

Her beauty was simply too ethereal.

Adrian himself didn't look incompatible to this beauty.

Wearing a navy blue three piece suit with a diamond chain broach on his chest pocket and black leather shoes, he looked extremely dashing and hot. His expensive watch just added up to the luxury.

His hairs were handsomely done giving him a devilish look.

"You look beautiful", he complimented to which Lily looked a little stunned but then she gave a small nod.

"You look good too", she replied.

Adrian gave a smile and extended his hand to her which she did not take at first but then eventually she put her small hand on his big one.

Adrian held her warm hand in his cold one and made a promise to her in his mind.

'No matter what happens in the future, I Adrian Collins, will never let you go, Lily.'

On the way to the courthouse, Lily kept silent and looked out of the window without sparing a single glance to the outstanding man next to her.

Adrian did not mind the silence and simply kept working on his laptop.

After reaching the courthouse, the two registered their marriage almost immediately thanks to the wealthy man who appeared there today.

Later, the two went to Hotel Palacia where both the families were going to celebrate over the dinner.

Everyone from the Collins family were present but from Lily's side there were only a few people.

Everyone congratulated the newly wedded couple and gave their gifts to the two of them.

After toasting for the two, the two families had their dinner.

Everything happened so fast that Lily felt she was in a dilemma.

Just a few days back, she recovered from her sickness and found out that the love of her might be the murderer of her own then she found out that he was with her so called sworn sister.

And now...

Lily looked around the huge hall at the people who were happily celebrating and smiling at her while trying to talk to her a bit then her eyes fell on the man that she married today.

Looking down at her hand, she found the diamond ring that Adrian gave her.

Was it the right decision to marry this guy?

Looking up, she found Adrian looking at her with his gentle gaze that always seemed cold to others.

She had no idea why she agreed to marry him when she knew nothing about this man but then again, she knew if she was to stay at the Sheng Mansion, her mother or aunt might try to marry her off to some random person.

She signed and gulped down the wine in her hand.

After the dinner party, everyone left the hotel by late evening.

At Collins Mansion,

Lily stood at the door looking at the suite bedroom that was all in black and white.

Adrian looked at Lily and then at his bedroom.

"I didn't know what you would like so I didn't get the walls colored. You can change the room decor as per what you like", he said calmly while looking at her.

Lily glanced at the handsome man and smiled slightly. "It's fine. I like monotonous colors", she said and walked inside.

Adrian followed behind her and gave her a small room tour.

Lily was surprised to see that he bought more clothes, shoes and all other accessories that a woman needs as well as the necessity for her in advance.

"I'll go take shower", she said and walked inside the bathroom.

After she was done, she changed into a comfortable night dress while she waited for Adrian to come out.

Once he came out, he found Lily awkwardly looking everywhere in the room.

"Anything wrong?", he questioned.

Lily turned to him and shook her head like a kid who was caught doing something mischievous.

"You go to sleep, I've a few urgent work to attend to", he said and walked out without waiting for her reply.

Lily felt her lips twitch seeing his behaviour.

"What's with his behaviour? Why do I get all such people in my lives?", she ranted to herself before letting out a scoff.

"Nevermind, I'll have the entire bed to myself until he comes", she said and laid on the bed while playing with her mobile.

Soon, she fell asleep with her mobile next to her head.

Hence, when Adrian came back, the scene he saw was a child like Lily sleeping peacefully with one of her leg out of the blanket.

He felt his lips spasm. "I could have never imagined that an elegant woman like you could be so cute when sleeping", he chuckled and walked up to her.

He put away her mobile and adjusted the blanket to tuck her in properly then he laid down on the next to her.

While he was reading the documents on his mobile, a certain someone suddenly attacked him with her arm.

He looked down and found Lily's arm around his waist while she tried to snuggle in his stomach.

He found her too cute.

Putting away his mobile, he laid down properly on the bed and pulled her in his warm embrace while he caressed her soft hairs.

Feeling the warmth of his body, Lily snuggled closer to him.

Adrian smiled in satisfaction and pecked on the top of her head.

In the midst of the peaceful night, Adrian suddenly felt a sharp pain in his chest.

Looking down, he found the little woman in his arms biting his chest like she was eating her favourite food.

The only thought that formed in his mind was: Am I getting molested by my wife tonight?

"Why is the meat so hard today? Mm... It smells good though", she mumbled in her sleep and licked his chest.

"Ahh..."

Once again she opened her mouth to bite her 'meat'.

Adrian was rendered speechless: "..."

He would really appreciate if she molested him than to pull off his flesh with her teeth that appeared to be really sharp.

Nevertheless, he did not let out a single whimper of pain despite her biting him so much.

Adrian patted her back while continuing to stroke her hairs until she finally fell into deep sleep and stopped biting him.

Looking at the peaceful little woman in his arms, Adrian let out a deep sigh.

He would have never thought she could be like this when she was asleep.

Nonetheless, she was too adorable to him.
