In the evening, Lily got ready wearing a simple white double layered ruffle sleeve knee length dress. There were simple floral prints on the dress which made it look more pleasing. She paired the dress with white ankle strap white stilettos.

Lily tied her hairs in a bun then put on a long beige windbreaker and took a matching sling bag before putting on her mobile and her wallet.

Once she was ready, she went downstairs to meet her grandfather who was waiting for her then got into his car and left.

"Grandfather, will everyone from Sheng family be coming to the dinner?", Lily asked as she didn't want to be surprised looking at all her uncles and aunts and cousins.

"No, your third and forth uncle are not in the country so they won't be coming. Your second uncle and aunt are busy with some company's work as well. Only your parents and Lucus and Liam will be coming tonight."

Lily sighed while giving a small nod.

She was glad not everyone were coming since they might create a mess.

They reached the Collins mansion in ten minutes. It wasn't far away from their mansion since it was a private estate like theirs.

The driver drove through the driveway to reach the mansion while Lily's parents' and brother's car too drove inside at the same time along with their bodyguards who were following behind.

As soon as the three main cars halted, the Collins family came out to greet them.

"Lily, my child, come come. I'm so happy to see you", Jennifer hugged Lily taking her by surprise. Kaylyn looked at the way Mrs. Collins welcomed her daughter and frowned.

Why was this lady being so nice to this stupid girl?

Jennifer saw that there were more people and greeted them as she welcomed them inside the grand mansion. As soon as they got in, Lily took off her overcoat and handed it to a servant.

"Oh my! You look like an Angel", Alicia said with a big smile on her face. Lily thanked her and went to sit next to her grandfather.

"Brother, I take my words back that she isn't cute", Aiden whispered to Adrian while the latter ignored his brother and stared at the woman sitting with a blank look.

His lips curved up when he remembered her reactions at the auction last night.

Yes, he was the mysterious man sitting in the last row watching over her.

He found her too amusing and cute that time.

Today Noah was present in the room and was stunned to see such a beautiful girl in the Sheng family. No doubt there were other pretty girls but she was just out of the world.

Wasn't the abandoned child supposed to be ugly and rebellious?

Why did she seem too beautiful and sexy to be ugly and too calm and collected to be rebellious?

As the servant gave a glass of juice to Lily, she took the glass elegantly.

How was this girl supposed to be a mannerless brat?

Damn, everyone sure had misconceptions about this woman.

She had similar temperament to his elder cousin which made him feel goosebumps.

"Okay, let's go to the dining room. Everyone must be hungry. I've an announcement to make during the dinner", George said happily as he stood up with his friend and walked away.

Everyone followed them to the dining room that had a huge dining table to contain two families.

Lily sat on the second chair next to Adrian since his mother pressed her there and walked away without allowing her to get up. Lily didn't want to disrespect the woman so she quietly sat there next to Adrian.

The dinner was served and it was all Chinese dishes. Old master Sheng seemed happy that his friend kept his taste in mind and prepared all the Chinese dishes for his family.

As the two elders picked their chopsticks, everyone begun to eat.

George put down his chopsticks in between making everyone to stop eating and look at him. "The announcement that I wanted to do is about my grandson", George said garnering everyone's attention.

Adrian was the first one to look at his grandfather.

Now what did his old man had to tell people?

"If my friend doesn't mind then I, George Collins would like to ask his granddaughter's hand for my grandson. I want Adrian to marry Lily."

George was interrupted when Lily started coughing. She apologized and continued to cough as she choked on her food just now. A pair of hand gently rubbed her back while Jennifer passed her water.

Lily looked at Adrian blankly and asked him to stop.

"Who would mind having such capable grandson in law? But I want my granddaughter to have the last say in this since it's her life", Elder Sheng said with a smile looking at Lily expectantly.

Lily looked around the table to find everyone staring at her except Adrian who had a blank look.

She thought that she shouldn't be rash with her decisions since she won't get another chance like her last life. She turned to look at Adrian and felt that the man was quiet reliable and gave her an unknown security.

Although she didn't love him, she was sure that her grandfather would never think bad for her.

She looked at her mother who was expecting her to say no given that if she was to marry the most powerful man alive, her mother wouldn't get to suppress her.

She knew if she married this married, even if he didn't give her love, he'd definitely not harm her although he had a mysterious and scary identify to begin with. She had a feeling that he would protect her no matter what.

Not like she wanted to be dependent on him but she knew that being with him would bring her a lot of benefits but she didn't want them. All she wanted was a person she could rely on when everyone turn their back on her and this man next to her was sure what she wanted.

She thought she should take the risk since she had her grandfather to back her up and now she was more powerful than her past life. She would be able to tackle down this man even though he was so powerful if in case he hurt her.

After a long silence, Lily finally spoke.

"Does Adrian agree to this?"

"..."

There was all silence in the room as everyone turned their attention to Adrian who was quietly sipping on his wine. He elegantly put down the glass and looked at everyone.

'Hah! He would definitely disagree. Who would want to marry a girl with bad reputation?' Kaylyn thought as she smirked.

"I will marry you."

The entire Collins family sighed in relief when they heard him say this. They knew how dominating he was and it was impossible to control the boy.

Now that he agreed, the women of the Collins family were more than happy. They gave each other a victorious sigh and smiled.

Well, the old man of the Collins family wasn't the one suggesting the idea, rather it was his two daughter in laws who suggested that Lily is a perfect candidate for Adrian. Although the old man thought that she should first make her career as per Sheng Zhou who said that she was working on it but his daughter in laws gave him numerous reasons to call for the wedding now.

The two ladies were worried that they would lose such a great daughter in law for the eldest son.

Thinking of that, George didn't think it was a bad idea anyways. The child was quite mysterious with her behaviour but she looked well behaved and ambitious which he loved in kids.

He was aware that his Devil grandson had already marked his name on her so he didn't had to worry much about them getting along.

After their dinner, the two old men announced that the two of them will sign their marriage certificates on monday. Lily was too suprised but she concealed her expression well.

'Grandfather, why are you so eager to send me away from you?'

She couldn't believe her grandfather.

"I have some conditions before I marry", Lily said garnering everyone's attention.

"What is it, Xiao Li?", Old master Sheng asked with furrowed brows.
