Chapter 52: Chapter 52
The treatment Lily was going through finally came to an end after two long years and Lily was finally better. The medical team had already left the mansion along with Lily's personal nurse.
Lily came out of her room wearing a short sleeve light blue floral dress that ended on her mid thigh. Her body looked much mature than earlier now just like how she imagined herself to be during her sickness.
The only thing that was different from her imagination that she was now 20. She had lost two years of her life in the treatment period.
She came downstairs and found her grandfather talking to someone. She tilted her head to look at the owner of the deep and manly voice that she heard just now and met with a handsome face.
His face was so handsome that it could shame even God himself for making such a creature.
His brown eyes were so cold that it seemed like they could freeze anything he looked at. His straight nose was well structured followed by his thin sexy lips. His body was well built just like the Greek God.
When he stood up with the old master, he looked much taller than the old man which made Lily guess that he was about 6'4" tall.
Everything about that man was perfect and made him look like an untouchable King which he actually was.
He was none other than Adrian Collins, 26 years old, a man who was popular around the world.
Just his name was enough to make people imagine immense wealth and high status. A simple move of his finger was enough to cause the entire economy to shake.
The Collins were the richest and most prestigious family in the world and were not to be offended by any not even the Andres. Collins Groups was the top finance and technological company in the entire world.
They practically owned the entire continent.
Adrian was known as the King of business world but there was always something about this man that made everyone think twice before offending him.
No one dared to look into his eyes let alone offend him or anyone related to him though not many have seen him in person but his name was enough to cause everyone to step away from his way.
It was unknown if it was because of his wealth or something else.
The two men noticed Lily and the old man smiled as he called out for her.
As soon as Adrian heard him, he turned to look at where the old man was looking and saw the most beautiful woman he had ever laid his eyes upon.
Her green eyes met his brown ones but both the pairs held no emotion at all.
His eyes moved on her body for a second and the only word that could come in his mind was 'Goddess.'
She came towards her grandfather passing by Adrian which caused him to get a quick sniff of her scent which was heavenly.
Her straight brown hairs were now long and reached below her waist so she had them tied up in a bun with the help of a stick.
"Adrian, this is my granddaughter, Lily", the old master introduced proudly to which Adrian gave no reaction. Lily looked at the man and felt she had seen him somewhere but she could recognise him well.
"Who is he?", Lily asked in a calm yet indifferent tone which stunned Adrian but he was good at concealing his expressions. He narrowed his eyes as he couldn't believe that there was someone in this world who didn't actually recognise him.
The old master looked at his granddaughter but said nothing. He wasn't afraid of offending the young man given he was a respected personality himself. "This is Adrian Collins, my old friend's grandson", Sheng Zhout introduced.
Lily nodded but didn't say anything in acknowledgement which made Adrian frown. No one ever looked so calm after seeing him in person. Did she even know him?
To be honest, Lily remembered this man after pressing her memory a bit. She had heard of this man a lot in the business world. Afterall he was the richest man out there.
"Adrian, come join us for breakfast", old master insisted and Adrian nodded. He didn't want to disrespect the old man.
The trio headed to the dining room and ate their breakfast while making small talks about business. Adrian glanced at Lily a few times when she talked but ignored her most of the time which wasn't much of a concern for her.
She felt that it was better if she didn't get any attention from anyone especially from men since she loved Sam, right?
After Adrian left, the old master called Lily in the garden to talk to her.
"Xiao Li, you've taken quite a long time. I think you should get back to do something productive. I don't want other to point finger at you", he said in a concerned tone. Lily was silent as she heard him say those words.
She knew that she had taken off for a very long time and now she had to get back to make her career.
"I'll look into that, grandfather", she said in a calm tone while the old man felt relieved by her answer. He knew she was no long the naive and childish Lily and was aware of her responsibilities now so he didn't worry much about her anymore unlike earlier.
…

The mansion was built many years back but then it was rebuilt twelve years back by the eldest young master. The mansion was strong enough to bear nine scalar earthquake and other natural calamity.
Residing in the luxury mansion was the Collins Mansion.
Sitting in one of the study room on the third floor of the mansion was none other than Adrian Collins, the eldest young master of Collins family. His eyes were stuck on the documents he had in his hand.
Sitting in front of him was his younger brother, Ryan who couldn't seem to keep his mouth shut. "Big Brother, you saw the young miss of the Sheng, right? Cousin told me that she is really pretty, is she?", Ryan asked curiously.
Adrian finally being annoyed by his brother for the past five minutes, looked up and glared at the man. "Did I not give you enough work at the company? You still have time to idle about", Adrian said in a threatening tone.
Ryan gulped in fear and ran away before his brother could burden him with more work.
'Couldn't he just be a bit more nice to me? I was just asking simply', Ryan thought and sulked.
What a cruel elder brother!
