Chapter 51: Chapter 51

The old master Sheng knocked on Lily's door but when he got no response, he came in to find her sitting in the corner with a small smile on her face which worried him.

He walked towards her and called out for her but she didn't seem to hear him so shook her shoulder slightly making her look at him. "Xiao Li, are you ok?", he asked worriedly.

Lily looked around and was quiet as a frown appeared on her face. She looked at him and questioned, "Where is Sam? Where is Sanna?" The old man furrowed his brows upon hearing her question but what surprised him more was when she started rubbing her stomach.

"My baby? Where is my baby?", she asked as she panicked. "Xiao Li, what baby are you talking about?", he asked as he held her shoulder gently.

"Grandfather, I was pregnant with Sam's baby. Where is my baby?", she asked as a deep frown appeared on her face. "Xiao Li, what are you saying? Who is Sam?", The old master asked worriedly.

"Samuel Andres. I'm pregnant with his baby. I'm already five months pregnant, grandfather", she said with wide eyes while the old master had a deep scowl on his face.

He stood up leaving her in her room and called his butler. "Call Dr. Prescott and increase the security around the mansion. Don't let anyone in without my permission", he ordered to which the butler nodded and left.

Soon, Dr. Jacob Prescott arrived. He was in his late forties and was respected in the medical field. He was escorted to the old man's study room and had a talk with him before they went to Lily's room.

"Grandfather, why is he here?", Lily asked as soon as she recognised the doctor. "Xiao Li, didn't you say you're pregnant? He'll check your baby and you to see you both are ok", the old master said to which she bloomed and let the doctor check on her.

Jacob checked on her before he turned to old master Sheng and gave a look. Once he was done checking, he walked out of the room with old master Sheng.

"Mr. Sheng, did Ms. Lily meet someone named Samuel Andres recently?", Jacob asked in a serious tone. "She was out of the country for two months and came just a week back since she isolated herself and had been saying weird things", the old master informed.

"Mr. Sheng, I'm afraid your granddaughter is mentally unstable. She is hallucinating things which never happened. It might be that she met those people and just wants all those things to happen that she is imagining right now."

"I'd recommend you to get her a psychiatrist as soon as possible. She might try to harm herself in future. She requires immediate psychotherapy. I'll call Dr. Aiden Collins, he's one of the best doctor in this field", Dr. Jacob continued to speak and handed a card to the butler.

Dr. Jacob called Dr. Aiden before he left the mansion.

"Master, don't worry. Young miss will get better", the butler said looking his master who was worried sick for his granddaughter. He knew how much the old man doted on her and that was obvious given that she was capable.

The old master and the butler went to Lily's room and saw her sleeping on the bed. She had been given anesthesia since she lacked sleep for a the past many days. He walked over to her and sat on the bed while he caressed her hairs gently.

"What happened to you, Xiao Li?", he asked as he held her hand and sighed deeply.

The two of them stayed in Lily's room for about an hour, before a servant came in to inform that Dr. Aiden has arrived. The butler looked at the old master who already heard what the servant said and ordered her to bring him to the room.

Soon, the doctor that Jacob recommended came to the room and greeted them.

"I've studied her case and Dr. Jacob was right about her mental condition but before anything I've to do a series of test on her so I can begin the therapy that would be needed", Aiden informed.

It was evening when Lily woke up and found an unknown man in her room which frightened her. "Don't panic, Ms. Sheng. I am here to look after your baby, Sam sent me here to look after you", Aiden said with a small smile.

"Why didn't he come then? Where is Sam?", she asked looking at the door. "He couldn't come because he is a bit busy. He'll be here in some hours till then I'll take care of you", he said and started to do a few tests that required to be awake.

Once he was done with the tests, he walked out of the room to meet the old master who had been waiting for him. He sat on the sofa in the living room with the old man and started speaking in a calm tone.

"Mr. Sheng, your granddaughter needs an urgent treatment. I usually don't prefer giving therapies at home but give her condition I don't think she will be able to go out. I'll begin with her treatment tomorrow morning and provide a personal nurse for her. We'll do our best to get her in a stable condition but you've to make sure during this period of time, she shouldn't meet anyone she might feel danger from. I'm sorry to say but she might end up hurting anyone she would feel threatened so it's better to not let her meet people that she dislikes for a time being."

The old master heard him clearly he spoke and asked, "When will she get better?"

"We can't say anything. It's all upto her now. Some people take years to get better but if she has the will and is strong enough then she'll get better soon. Let's hope for the best", Dr. Aiden said pressing his lips together.

The old master nodded and asked a servant to escort him out before he went to check on Lily once. His heart ached as he saw his granddaughter in such condition.

What made his granddaughter like this? What actually happened to her?

A number of questions rushed in his mind but he had to wait till she gets better to get the answers to those questions.

In the morning, Dr. Aiden arrived with his team and started her treatment without a delay.

At first it was hard for them to get Lily to start the treatment but when they saw she quietened down in the name of her baby which didn't exist in real, they knew how to control her.

They turned her room in a miniature hospital ward with all the equipments.

While her treatment was on, the entire mansion was secured well under the orders of the old master and no one was allowed inside the mansion, not even the members of the Sheng family were allowed inside.

If any of the Sheng members wanted to meet the old man they'd meet him at any restaurant or other villa that he owned but not his main mansion. No one in the entire world knew what happened to the young miss of the Sheng and where she suddenly disappeared.

The entire Sheng family was told that Lily had been out of the country until someone caught a doctor leaving the mansion but the old master was smart enough to cope the situation without letting the media get a hold of it and said that the doctor came just to check on him since he was sick.

While everyone thought Lily was out of the country, her treatment went on and two months passed just like that but her condition wasn't any better.
