A room full of big screens and numerous computers was filled with a number of people talking on phone and looking around.

A man around the age of forty with a few grey hairs on his head had his eyes stuck to the main screen. He had a strong personality that was needed for someone of higher position in a particular department.

On the screen was a beautiful woman with long red hairs that were tied up in a french bun. She was wearing a short backless red dress and had dark red lipstick painted on her lips. There was even a Pheonix bird tattoo on her back which made her look even more sexy yet intimidating.

She looked around carefully then stood up and walked to the corner of the room where she was. She grabbed the laptop kept on the table then sprayed something on the keyboard to make visible the fingerprints on it. She then put on her gloves to type the passcode and inserted a drive then started typing verious codes on the laptop.

A couple seconds later, the laptop screen went blank while the computer in the office on the other side displayed the files of the laptop.

The old man smirked and said proudly, "That's the power of Angry Pheonix."

Everyone in the room nodded in approval as they looked at the woman on the screen who was walking out of the place like nothing happened. Her every step was so confident that it was difficult to realize that she just stole all the data from the laptop.

This was Angry Pheonix. Of course, it's her code name since it was in their protocol to never reveal the true identity of the person. She was not just an intelligence officer but also a secret weapon of the American Army.

In the army base, people knew her since she would train with them but only the head officers knew who exactly she was. It was really important to hide her identity given that her life might get in risk if anyone comes to know who she is.

For the purpose of hiding herself, she disguises herself with wigs and makeup or masks to change her look completely from her real face. Only a few people who trained with her have seen her original face.

A ring was heard in a couple minutes after the mission was completed. The old man whose name was Patrick Price picked up the call to heard a really melodious voice of one of his most favourite student.

"Hey, old man. You must have seen everything so it's not necessary for me to say anything. Anyways, if nothing else then I'll be going back."

"You did great", Patrick praised. "I know I am great", came her proud voice. "Such an arrogant kid!"

The woman did not bother to waste anymore of her time and hung up.

Lily walked inside a hospital and got in the elevator to go to the 30th floor. As the elevator doors were about to close, a young woman in her twenties came rushing. Lily saw the woman and stopped the elevator.

The woman looked rich and beautiful and she exuded arrogance and elegance in the way she carried herself. Her mid length jet black hairs were let down and a hairclip was attached to the left side of her hairs.

She had a small pretty face and a beautiful body that could seduce men easily but when she stood next to Lily, she looked nothing compared to Lily be it in looks or personality. The woman was nothing when someone took a look of Lily who had beautiful soft curves and a domineering elegant personality like a Queen.

"Thank you for stopping", the woman thanked Lily to which she nodded.

The two of them got off on the same floor. Lily realised they have been walking together in the same direction but did not say anything. She walked to the last corridor where she saw many bodyguards standing outside the door.

Lily was about to take a turn when her mobile rang. She checked the number and immediately picked up. The call took her five minutes then she walked towards the door and showed her ID to the bodyguards.

When she walked inside, she saw the same woman standing next to the patient's bed. She walked towards them gathering the attention of the woman and the man laying on the bed with a cold expression.

"I'm Lily Sheng", Lily introduced formally. "And you must be Mr. Tang and Miss. Tang, if I'm correct."

The two of them nodded while the man looked at Lily's face quietly. Tang Liqin looked at her brother and smirked while Tang Beicheng stared at Lily. "I'd like if Miss Tang would go out and wait for a while till I check on Mr. Tang", Lily said in a formal tone to which Tang Liqin nodded and walked out of there.

Lily checked on Tang Beicheng and did a few tests which took around two hours then she prescribed a few medicines.

Tang Beicheng looked at Lily's left hand and saw the diamond ring she had on her ring finger. "Never knew the young miss of Shengs was engaged", he commented. Lily looked up at him and spoke coldly, "I'd like you not to interfere in my personal matters and keep this confidential or else you might know the consequences of offending the Shengs."

Beicheng let out a cold chuckle and taunted, "I wonder what position an abandoned daughter has in the family." Lily gave a cold stare and spoke in a calm yet threatening tone, "Never underestimate the person standing in front of you."

Tang Beicheng chuckled softly and looked into her eyes as he spoke, "When did I ever say I'm underestimating you?" Lily rolled her eyes and said nothing. She felt it was waste of time for her to talk to him.

"You'll be fine within two days. I'll take my leave now", she said and walked out.

After she left the hospital, she went to the airport and boarded her flight to India, her past life's birth land. It was still morning when she left Shanghai but when she reached Mumbai, it was almost night.

The airport was crowded as always like everyday. As she walked out of the VIP gate, she found some celebrities walking in and out of there.

She felt like laughing when she saw them. There was a time when she couldn't afford to enter the VIP lounge and now she was not only using the VIP lounge but also travel in her private jet.

In the past, she would be so happy to see these celebrities walking next to her but now she felt it was way too normal for she met so many Hollywood celebrities in the past few years and even Bollywood top celebrities. She was now capable enough to get them in front of her on her call but she had no desire.

Lily sighed as she walked out with her bodyguards that were double the number of what those celebrities had. She boarded her Rolls Royce that was arranged by her grandfather and drove off.

Everyone turned to look at who was so rich to come with so many bodyguards and board such an expensive car.

Lily looked out of the car and remembered how she and Sam got together.

Well, thinking of Sam, she remembered she didn't inform him about her arrival in India. She knew he would get angry and scold her for coming here without his permission all alone without him.

Lily looked at her purse and suddenly realised she lost her phone a couple days back and sighed.

"Every stupid thing has to happen to me at such time. Great!"
