(Vivienne)

The following days were boring for me because I had to spend them alone. Victor was busy with his work which was a good thing for me. If he even dared to approach me then I promised to avoid him like the plagues.

Three days passed and everything was over. Victor was done with his business matters and it was time for us to get back home

After that kissing incident, I tried, by all means, to act as if nothing happened between us.

It was late in the morning when we boarded the jet. Like the last time. I chose to be by myself and slept throughout the entire flight. When we arrived I was well awake because I didn't want to give him a reason to touch me in the name of lifting me, it was nice to be back in London. I hugged myself, pulling the coat around me together, and got out. I thought I was going to ride in the same car as the grumpy man but once we got out. I was surprised to see Leo and Kyan waiting for us

"Hey! Hey Vivie!"I heard screaming rrom afar and I knew he was acting up. I smiled as I walked toward the two cars parked away from the jet and Kyan came running to me. He was about to throw himself at me when I dodged and he ended up stumbling away which made me laugh seeing how stupid he looked embarrassing himself

"Come on...I missed you and came to get you...is this what you do to me?"I heard him whining from afar but I was already close to the car and in Leo's embrace.

"Welcome kiddo...you look a little fat," he said rubbing his hands on my back and I frowned and moved back. He was being ridiculous

"Idiot...how can you say that...I'm still beautiful…"I said, smacking him on his shoulder and he grabbed my hand instead.

"I didn't say you look bad...but my little tigress looks lovely"he re.arked with chuckles and we ended up laughing like crazy while holding hands but stopped when we saw Victor hearing our way. He was on the phone and the outfit he was wearing made him look good. I couldn't keep my eyes off him knowing the black coat which reached below his knees looked good on him

His hair was tied halfway, a little bun on top and some hair falling down behind

"Did you have fun huh...I see the grumpy man is still grumpy" Leo said as we stood by the car and watched Victor take his time talking on the phone. I elbowed Leo to keep quiet and when Kyan joined us. The three of us stood there watching Victor

"My brother looks handsome...I wonder what happened there...care to share Ms. Payton"Kyan remarked, turning to look at me with a sly smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. He was a fool and the glare I threw at him, shut him up completely

"Hey bro...we came to get you," Kyan said and rushed to hug Victor but he stopped Midway when Victor extended his hand stopping him from touching him. I frowned seeing how treat his little brother so badly. I watched from the sides as he entered the car and I turned to Leo who walked up to Victor

"Did I call you here?" he said bitterly and walked to his car since the driver already opened the backseat door for him

"Come on Vic...don't be so bitter...we came to get Vivienne...come baby...we want to take you out," Leo said and grabbed my hand. I was tired but when Leo held my hand and pulled me to him so that we were standing right where Victor could see us

"She's tired...she needs to rest, "the grumpy man said and I was surprised, I didn't recall ever telling him I was tired to move around

"She's fine...my little wildcat is perfectly fine...don't worry Victor go to the office or mansion... we'll be back" Leo said smiling at me and I giggled knowing the expression on Victor's face was murderous. He didn't seem happy and I didn't care

"Yes sir... I want to go out with Leo...he's funny and I kissed him"I said cheerfully and held onto Leo even more

It was still in the afternoon, I was bored hence I wrapped my arm around Leo's waist and waited for him to speak but Victor only slammed the door shut and the driver drove away from there

"He's okay with it...come sweetie"just like that I went out with Leo and Kyan, the two loved having fun and I was happy to loosen up a bit after a long time on the trip I took with Victor. I was yet to go to the Ellison mansion which was going to happen a little later

"Victor, I'm so glad you are back," Monica said with a smile as she pulled a chair from across Victor and elegantly sat down. She was so happy that after a few weeks of not having Vivienne around she was back

"Any problem?"Victor asked still keeping his eyes on his computer and Monica didn't mind as she took some files she came with and put them on the table carefully

"These are my application forms...take a look at them and tell me if I can start working now," Monica said with a smile knowing she was now ready to work for him. After the heartbreaking divorce, she had from her ex-husband Hubert, I couldn't do anything. It has been a year now since she came to London from the US to stay with her sister who took her in when she was hurt. She stopped working at the company she had a good position but now Monica was better, she wanted to go back to work, and applying at Ellison Bank was what she wanted

"Give them to the manager...once he reviews them I'll check them, "Victor said professionally without even looking at her. She knew how Victor was when it came to working related matters

He didn't know relatives when it came to his business. If he could put his cousin on probation at the hospital to see if he was a capable doctor then who was she when she was just his late wife's sister. Monica nodded lightly and reached out for her files. She had her CVS and everything she needed.

"Okay...I was thinking Victor...very soon Vivienne will start showing...umm about the baby...well"Monica started but she didn't know what to say to him. As much as Victor was eager to have the baby Vivienne was expecting, she too was happy and a little anxious to have her nephew or niece hence she had been thinking about buying baby clothes

Since Victor was a man who was busy with his work both at the back and company, she thought of taking up the task of buying everything the baby needed

"Well...about the baby...we should start buying everything...the earlier the better"Monica added fiddling with her hands not sure if Victor would accept. He was very difficult and hard to deal with. Anyone could get intimidated by him and now he wasn't saying anything nor was any expression on his face which scared her greatly

"You don't have to do anything...I'll handle my matters," Victor said as he looked up and Monica lowered her gaze a little. Maybe he thought she was meddling in his affairs but that wasn't what she was doing

"Victor I'm only…"

"Leave now," Victor said angrily, he didn't yell but his voice was scary enough that Monica rose to her feet immediately. She didn't have to argue with him over something he could handle

"I'll take my leave," She said, took her files, and left right away. She glanced back before she walked out the door and closed it

"Ahh" she let out a heavy exhale and walked away from there. It was getting late Victor came back but Vivienne didn't. She asked around and she was informed Vivienne left with Leo and Kyan

"Julia, is she back yet?"Monica asked Julia immediately she entered her room and found Julia arranging her bed

"No ma'am...she's still not back...I'll bring coffee for you, "Julia said, bowing a little and leaving the room. Monica didn't think much but walked to her bed and sat down. After some time. The door opened by now her eyes were closed but once she got a white of the familiar cologne she knew too well. Her eyes flew open and she sat up only to find Justin standing close to the bed

"What are you doing here?" she asked bitterly and got up from the bed adjusting her dress and fixing her hair. Justin smiled and reached her in one go and pulled her in a hug

"Hey baby" he muttered

"Don't touch me!" she made a low yell and shoved his arms away from her. Justin was surprised why she acted that way but Monica was angry as she walked backward. Her eyes shot fire

"What's going on...first you called me here and now what's this"Justin said running his hands in his hair. He was exhausted from hospital work. She called him to the mansion but now she was acting up

"You are doing this...you, Leo, and Kyan…" she said angrily pointing her index finger at him. Justin was confused as he arched his eyebrows at her. He didn't know anything. He left work a few minutes ago. He was supposed to be at his via resting not dealing with her emotional problems

"I don't understand "he simply said doing everything he could not collapse knowing she was exhausting him with her anger

"Everything is trying to... trying to erase my sister's memories...she gave everything she had for this family…''Monica was almost in tears as she pointed at Justin connecting her first get with his hard chest. She was heartbroken knowing her sister was forgotten. Yes she was dead but Victor was supposed to honor her memories which he wasn't doing "she loved Victor and everyone but now she's dead...hahaha, after all, he's a man right...all men are pigs...they are selfish and now he's moving on  !" she added disdainfully. Anger was written in her eyes and her heavy breathing said it all by now Justin was even more exhausted as he massaged his temples not sure why she was overreacting

"We love Alisa...she was a wonderful woman...trust me...but Victor still has a life ahead of him...you don't expect him to stay sad his entire life, do you?"Justin remarked in the nicest way possible as he tried to hold her but she slapped his hand away and moved back.

"I don't trust any woman...they are all leeches after his money...Jayy this is wrong" Monica yelled so much that Justin felt her anger as he looked at her with a blank expression.
