Justin failed to understand Monica in any way. Yes, her sister's death brought sadness to the family. Everyone we're devastated when Alisa died but Monica had to understand

No matter how much they try to live in the past, there was always a future waiting for them to continue living but she thought Victor opening up to something new was him forgetting about Alisa

"Sweetie, try to understand...I know and feel your pain but...Vic needs someone to get him out of depression" Justin murmured as he moved close to Monica and cupped the sides of her face. She cried uncontrollably and he hated seeing her in tears. Alisa was her only sister and the only family she had when she died so unexpectedly. Monica had it worse hence he understood how she felt

"But...she loved him a lot...their marriage was forced by our parents but...she treated it like her life," she said with shortened breaths. Justin gripped her face even tighter and leaned close to her. She was trembling in his arms hence he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her to him so that her head rested on his chest

He felt bad knowing how Victor ended up marrying Alisa. It wasn't so pleasant when he was forced to marry her. But with time he came to accept her, who wouldn't love Alisa when she was nice to everyone. Just her smile made sadness disappear and that's how she won Victor's heart

It wasn't old news that Victor was a difficult man. He was strict to the fullest, a lot controlling, and liked things done his way. Not everyone understood him as Alisa did. She had enough patience for his arrogant behavior but when she died. He was shattered, he was heartbroken knowing despite everything she didn't trust him enough to tell him what was happening, and like a fool, his attention concentrated on his work

If Victor was upset then it was because he blamed himself for Alisa's death. He thought he didn't take care of her like he was supposed to

"Please try to understand...he's a man after all...he loves Alisa but we can't stop him from feeling something," Justin said as he cradled Monica in his arms. After he let her cry to her heart's content. They decided to snuggle in bed just to relax.

"But...this is wrong Jayy...it's too early for him to feel anything for any woman"Monica still stood her ground. She wasn't a kid not to understand what was happening around her. Vivienne's appearance in their lives changed everything. Victor was beginning to show some interest in her, she was slowly replacing Alisa because she had the same personality as her. Vivienne was a jovial girl, she rarely got upset and she liked acting silly just to lighten up someone's mood even if it meant being annoying hence she was just worried that Victor might end up treating Vivienne more than just his Surrogate

"If you are done sobbing...how about you think...about"Justin murmured and started teaching his hand down her thighs slipping inside her dress. Monica flinched at his touch and giggled as she shifted around until she was lying beneath him

"Take...care of me...I'm starving baby" he muttered and stole a few kisses which Monica dodged and giggled while kicking around to keep him off

"Stop...stop it you idiot... someone might come in," she said in between laughter trying to keep Justin off her but Justin was already dragging her dress up exposing her luscious body. She wiggled out of her dress and shivered at the cool breeze blowing in the room. She just hoped no one disturbed her because she needed to get a taste of Justin. Since morning she had been craving for him knowing for the past few weeks he had been too busy at the hospital to spare some time for her.

"What do you mean!"Victor made a low yell slamming his hand on the table and Julia, who was already nervous about entering her boss's study room, flinched as she sucked in her breath. She didn't want to be the one to answer her boss's questions but she was the head of all servants hence everything was on her

"Y...yes sir…" she said nervously as she lowered her gaze even more. Her heart was in a bad shape and being in front of Victor scared her greatly "she's not back yet" Julia added, still keeping her head down and Victor exhaled lightly and waved her off. Julia didn't waste any time as she stormed out of the study room exhaling heavily as soon as she got out. Nothing frightened her more than dealing with her boss, he was way too scary, and being in his presence would have one suffer a heart attack from fear

"Damn it"Victor cursed as he ran his hand on his face and leaned his head back on the chair

He glanced at the time and it was after 7 PM and his so-called Surrogate wasn't back yet. They just came back and she was already acting up

Victor decided to go downstairs and since he was using his office upstairs which was far away from the noise, he proceeded out of his study and took his phone with him. He didn't even know why he was so worked up about his troublemaker of a surrogate.

He was supposed to be happy that he didn't have to deal with her bickering. She talked way too much like a kid and everyone knew he liked peace unfortunately with his Surrogate around, there was no peace hence he sighed and descended the stairs but soon stopped when

"You are unteachable...that was easy even a four-year-old can do it" he heard Kyan's voice say disdainfully hence he paused walking as his eyes shifted towards the entrance hall only to see

"I kept seeing sharks...what sort of virtual reality was that?" his Surrogate said, whining, he knew how she behaved like a child and when the people he had been asking about came into view. His expression darkened when he saw his Surrogate clinging to Leo and they were smiling

"Just chill Kyan... she'll learn eventually," Leo said as they stopped and he fixed her hair while she giggled while still holding his hand. They seemed obvious to Victor's presence because he was standing right there and they were touching and giggling as if they owned the place

"Tomorrow... we'll teach her...and this time no backing away…she needs to learn how to swim"kyan said and walked to the living room

"Tired sweetie...come I'll take you upstairs," Leo said and unexpectedly picked her up in his arms surprising her at how he easily lifted her like some doll

"Hahaha put...put me down...it tickles" she giggled but Leo only chuckled and pulled her up he proceeded to the stairs but stopped when they saw Victor standing there with a darker expression. Vivienne didn't mind as she rolled her eyes secretly and wrapped her arms around Leo's neck and rested her head on his chest. Victor saw it all and

"Hey bro...have a good night" just like that Leo said with a smile and climbed the stairs with Vivienne in his arms

"You are a cute little doll...I could hold you in my arms forever...you are so small" Leo remarked with chuckles as they passed by Victor who moved aside not sure who to kill first. His hands were clenched tightly but he didn't know why he was even affected by something so silly and childish

"You know Leo...you are the strongest man I've ever seen...so handsome...no one is like you," Vivienne said with giggles as the small cheerful voice faded away and like he had been rooted to one place. Victor's gaze shifted up and he didn't see them.

"Fools" he muttered disdainfully and forgot where he wanted to go but he shook his head and walked back to his study. He didn't care about that but when he reached the study room. He looked at himself. His strong arms and well-built body

"Strongest man my foot" he mumbled feeling frustrated as to how he was bothered, Leo was handsome and was that known but which man could compare to his looks, especially his body. He was stronger and could pick her up with just his pinky finger. How dare she praise another man when all he does is lift her in his arms every chance she got to trouble him and she never praised him about how strong and handsome he was.
