I was feeling a lot better after a good night's sleep. Although I slept peacefully the thoughts of who undressed me bother me greatly

I failed to understand who exactly got me out of the pool. I tried asking Leo but I dropped the idea hence immediately morning came. I was the first to wake up but I didn't get out of bed

When I prepared to get up, my heart became heavy with guilt. Especially the way Victor was behaving. After that time he cut me off as if whatever I was about to say made no sense to him. He didn't show up in my room but Monica did and that was to check if I was okay

I was certain she thought I was making things up but I knew what I saw and now I sat there half covered waiting for Julia to walk in

She was late, unlike her usual time when she came early. I had so many questions for her. It would sound a little ridiculous but I was restless and anyone in my shoes would feel the same

"Ahhh…"I groaned in frustration as I tried to remove the blanket off me and get out of the Damned room which made me feel suffocated when the door suddenly opened. My eyes lifted immediately and it was Julia who walked in holding a laundry basket. I was thrilled to see her but just looking at her movements and her facial expression. My smile dropped and knew something was wrong

"Good morning Ms" she greeted me with a giant smile and her voice wasn't as jovial as before. She didn't ask so many questions about my health but only walked to my closet to outback the clothes she just washed

My heart skipped a few beats as fear engulfed me. I wonder why she looked so gloomy when I was used to jovial Julia

"Julia...is everything okay?"I asked when she returned and to my surprise, she just nodded and walked to open the window. I was troubled knowing this wasn't how she behaved with me. I knew her well by now hence I knew something serious happened

"Julia, something happened...you look sad," I said and got out of bed. As much as I was feeling weak to walk. I just wanted to find out what happened during my absence. Everyone was caring and strange. First Victor didn't show up even Leo. Which meant there was a problem

"Ms. Please ask him to hire me back...I have no one to turn to...I didn't do it I swear"to my shock Julia burst out into tears as she said turning to look at me. Her eyes were swollen and red which made me feel bad as I walked closer to her. She looked sad that I failed to understand what she just said to me

"Fired? what happened?"

"Sir...sir fired us...he thought we tried to kill you...but I didn't even know what happened...I was in Mr. Kyan's room all along helping him choose the clothes he wanted to give away" Julia added as she grabbed my hand and looked me in the eyes. I saw grief and despair in her eyes that I failed to understand why Victor fired her. Yes someone was responsible but he had to investigate the matter and catch the culprit

"But if you were with Kyan then...it wasn't you why would he fire you,'' I said in disbelief, Victor was angry because if I happened to have died in that pool then he would have lost his child as well hence I understood his lethal decision but I didn't mean to get everyone fired. Juli was especially a sweet girl. I considered her as my sister and it was unfair for her to lose her job

"D...don't worry I'll talk to him," I said, rubbing her hands lovingly. She seemed surprised by my words that her head lifted and her eyes shone with delight. Her lips quivered upwards and I smiled a genuine smile and she instantly pulled me in a hug. I wasn't used to being hugged but I stood there was she did whatever she thought was comforting

"Thank you, thank you...thank you so much," she said with a squeal and moved away from me. She wiped her tears and I saw that smile that she always had no matter what. I smiled too, not sure how my words made her happy but I knew I had to talk to Victor. He needed to dig deep not take a rational decision based on suspicion

"Okay...I'll run your bath... Mr. Ellison already made breakfast for you before he left for the office," Julia said as she busied herself in my room. She was so happy that she kept giggling and kinda lost her way only to bump into the chair and face palmed herself. Seeing her back to her old self I knew it was the perfect chance for me to ask what was eating g me up from inside

"Julia, thanks for changing me...I was so careless to have fallen in the pool" I said and walked to the bed where she was busy drawing the sheets away. I joined her and picked up a pillow but she stopped and looked at me with a confused expression

"I didn't do it" she simply said and got back to her work. I was stunned by her words but I chose to be positive

"Ah...then I should thank Monica...the grumpy lady must have done it, "I said with a smile and took another pillow but when I looked up I saw Julia staring at me as if she didn't think Monica did and her expression got me so worried that my grip on the two pillows loosened causing me to feel weak in the knees

"Ms. Monica didn't do it...when sir got you out of the water...you were unconscious and not responding...I heard...he...well"Julia started saying as she resumed folding the sheets and I grew afraid. My heart started racing so fast that I didn't want to hear it. They said curiosity killed a cat and my curiosity was about to give me what I wanted to hear

"He had to give you that thing...you know where they kiss you then blow air in your mouth to bring you back"

"Mouth-to-mouth?"I muttered as strength finally left me. My soul escaped my body that I felt so weak as I nearly collapsed but Julia was fast enough to catch me and made me sit on the bed

"yes that!"she said snapping her fingers and I wanted to die right there and then

"No"I muttered in detail as the world around spun violently

"Are you okay... should I call sir?" she said with desperation as she felt my forehead and neck. I was completely fine from outside but inside I was shattered. How did it get to him putting his lips on me without my permission?

"D...don't call him...do...do you know who…"I said and swallowed a dry lump not sure how to finish my sentence but I decided to keep my mouth shut Julia saw through my words

"Sir locked the door when the chaos started. I guess he changed because when he opened. You were already dressed and he was treating you, "Julia said and rose from the bed. I was shattered as my hand went up to my face, felt my forehead with the back of my hand and I was sweating despite the sadness I was feeling, and when my hand ran down my face then my chest. My heart was beating loudly. Pounding against my chest as a strange feeling washed over me. I had the urge to touch my lips not believing he dared to touch me but he kissed me and changed my clothes which meant he

"He saw my naked body" I muttered, accidentally thinking out loud as tears and something strange washed over me. Julia heard what I said because he came to me and asked but I shook my head. I told her everything was fine but deep down I was so irritated with Victor

How dare he do that to me. He took advantage of me during my condition. I didn't know what he saw but if he made me wear a robe it meant he saw it all.

After I was done showering and settled for light blue jeans with a long-sleeved top which ended just by my waist making it look like a crop shirt and the jeans a high waist. I tied my hair in a high ponytail. Settled for white sneakers and took my purse and phone. I had to take a trip to Victor's office and confront him not just about keeping Julia but also about my situation of the nude show he saw

"Going somewhere?" it was kyan who asked immediately I walked down the stairs and I nodded ignoring him completely and he scoffed and walked away

"So... troublemaker is awake...tell me where are you going?" it was Monica who asked this time….she stopped right in front of me and I had no choice than to stop and entertain her

"I'm going out and yes I'm taking my driver," I said in the most polite way possible with a fake smile as I looked at her. She had that grumpy expression on her face but I chose to ignore her completely

"The police will be here soon...I think you should stay so that you fix this mess you created...Victor nearly shot someone all because of you" Monica said as she walked around me as if I was nothing. My eyes narrowed when I heard the shot. Did it get to that extent of him threatening to shoot? Did he know how to shoot and did he have a gun in his possession

"Yes, my dear...Victor made us go through hell last night...do you know he fired everyone all because of you...he asked us to leave his house...even his best friend" like she guessed what was running in my head, Monica said as she turned to face me. I saw anger in her eyes and I shook my head not knowing what happened. I only said the truth and nothing else. I didn't know Victor would go crazy and threaten everyone

"I'll talk to him then...I'll fix this," I said and walked away from there. This turned out to be more tense and serious than I expected hence I had to talk to Victor. Did he think Leo pushed me? He was being ridiculous. We needed to find who the main culprit was and going to his office was what I had to do.
