I was agitated and disturbed throughout the entire drive. I kept on checking the time. Ignoring all the calls I was getting from Victor on Kyan's phone. I didn't know why he was even calling when no one was answering. I coaxed Bobby to drive the car as fast as he could but the man told me he was not allowed to endanger my life
I scoffed in my heart knowing full well it was Victor who gave him such ridiculous rules. Looking down at the files in my hands. I was even more anxious as the driver finally took a left turn and I rolled down the car windows and knew we arrived. Just the grand entrance made my jaw drop. The clean surrounding was enough to tell me I was in paradise
I heard of beautiful resorts which were by the Seaside. People went to such places for vacations and honeymoons and to know there were many resorts like the Monro resort which was nothing but a glorious display of wealth. From the large building to the tight good security. The beautiful palm trees and exotic flowers were in different colors. The shone bright starting from the entrance of the area until we drive all how was like a mile away
It was like entering another world of luxury. I couldn't help but peek out to take in my surroundings. The fresh pleasant air hit my nose a single inhaled in delight
A cold breeze gushed by caressing my face as a few strands of hair got stuck on my face. I slowly reached out for my face and tucked the strands behind my ears nae felt like untying my hair
"Wow" I mumbled out loud when I saw some people walking around, some taking pictures as if on Vacation. There weren't many since we were driving to the parking area and immediately Bobby stopped the car. I smiled as I prepared to storm out but I stopped knowing I was a little too overjoyed to go out and explore. To run around the beautiful place which was relaxing. So serene like the ocean, the blissful forest which only had to blow trees, and when Bobby left the car and walked to my side. He opened it for me and I took my purse and the files and stepped out
"Thanks, Bobby," I said with a smile as I adjusted my crop shirt. I knew my dressing wasn't so classy but I liked something simple. A pair of blue jeans with white sneakers and a blush pink crop shirt hugged my chest down which showed my toned belly. My red shiny hairy is tied in a high ponytail with some bangs falling to my face.
"Ms. Do you want me to come with you?"Bobby asked when I slid the long chain of my purse over my right shoulder and held it in front but I smiled as I turned to him knowing he already did the job I just needed to find Victor
"No thanks I'll handle it from here," I said as I turned around feeling a certain strange emotion rushing through my body "nope...I'm fine...stay here I won't take long" I said to him while I glanced around at the various expensive card-looking. I averted my eyes from there but soon noticed Victor's car. Seeing his black car parked to the left side and the only one guarded I knew the man was here. He nodded as I made my way down the pavement leading to the main entrance.
"Gorgeous...now this is breathtaking," I said to myself while checking the place out. I loved beautiful places and seeing the large buildings which extended around as if they were some city. I guessed so many things happened at resorts that were why many people from across the world came for vacations and honeymoon
Pushing that aside I focused on my task at hand. I needed to find Victor. I had his files and there were fifteen minutes to spare hence in these minutes I had to find him but where was he. I tried taking a left turn which led down the small party which had some stairs up ahead.
I failed to understand why the entrance was there because I'm mediately one entered the hotel grounds. They saw the main entrance but I didn't see any
"Excuse me...I'm" I said to the girl I saw taking pics on her own. She was half-dressed and a little elegant when she heard me. She popped the bubble she was chewing and looked at me
"What up doll…" she said nonchalantly and I bowed a little as if greeting her
"Umm I'm trying to find the entrance...can you know you direct me," I said not sure if she was friendly as to tell me anything seeing how beautiful she looked
"Well...you entered through the back hun...go straight, take a left and climb some stairs...you'll find swimming pools there, ask anyone next"just like that the lady said and waved me off as if I was disturbing her photoshoot.
I thanked her and walked away. I followed her direction and she was right. Immediately I climbed the stairs which were not many. I heard noises more like girls squealing. I walked towards the bunch of people not sure why they were cameras around
The pools were guarded by several well-built men in suits.
A lot of girls with banners and signs were gathered to the right separated by some rope with the men keeping them away. I was stunned when I shifted to the man doing some sort of shooting
My eyes narrowed when I slowly and carefully walked between the large deep swimming pools which looked mesmerizing. The blue water was inviting but I had to pass by the crowd to get to the other side.
"Did you get it...that's it...give me seduction...sexy...hot...yes show that flirty smirk...woo the ladies"I heard a man's voice saying as if giving instructions. I reached closer but the tall black-dressed men were on the way and I could barely see what was ahead
"Damn these people" I muttered guessing some well-known celebrity was doing a photoshoot but I had to go through
"Excuse me... excuse me!"I shouted as I tried to slip past the figures blocking my way, I gripped the files in my hand tightly as I tried jumping up but I only saw a naked man only in his boxes posing for the cameras. He and his back turned to me hence I couldn't see his face but I guessed the grill watching him were having a good time seeing watching a hot looking man like him
"Yes, Leo...show me the velvet tiger...damn that's hot...now turn around and show me abs"whoever the man kept giving instructions to and I rolled my eyes in irritation. For a second I thought it was that damn fool of a celebrity I met a long time ago but I dropped the idea knowing the rascal would have hunted me down
"Excuse me...ex…"I was about to say when I was nearly pushed but I gasped and balanced on my feet and there was an opening. A short looking man in leather clothes walked to me and I guessed he was the one shouting instructions
"And you...which hole did you crawl out from...if you want an autograph from Leo...then get to the back of the line" the man said rudely as he stood in front of me. I was stunned at his outburst that I failed to understand why he thought I came for some ridiculous autograph
"Look here, sir...I just want to pass...I was told this is the only way in from the back" I said straight not showing any fear but I guess the man was arrogant and rude
"This is a private area closed down because the city's hotshot is here doing a photoshoot...kindly go back from where you crawled out from"again he didn't have to be so mean when I asked him politely. He was making whatever it was a big deal and I was running out of time
"Please, sir...I need to take these files inside ASAP...please…"I tried begging if he would listen. But the scoffed he let out showed how arrogant and cocky he was
"Get out...do you even know who Leonardo Monro is...I am sure you sneaked in to get his autograph" the man said, looking at his hands in a grill way and pushing his hair off his face as my jaw dropped. He said the full name of the rascal I thought was not the rascal and immediately my knees went weak knowing had to run
"H...hell no...why would I want an autograph from that fool," I said more like to myself knowing I had to run hence without even wasting time to hear the short man voice out his words I turned to flee unfortunately I was greeted by the devil in his boxers looking all tall and sexy with his hair wet and water dripping down his hot body.
Those toned abs, his broad shoulders, and those red lips forget that his green eyes shone brightly under the sun which had stretched far and wide making me appear a little lean and small before him, and when I lifted my head to look at him fully. I cursed multiple times
"And the devil met his little runaway princess" like always he said in his lost flirtatious look. That mischievous grin extending on his lips and that goddamned piercing gaze which made all the ladies want him. 'damn it, I was so trapped'
"H...hey...look here Leo...you should let me go we don't want your fans seeing us"I blurted out quickly gripped my files tight and tried to slip past him unfortunately he was fast enough to catch me as he grabbed my delicate arm and pulled me back and I let out a small gasp as he shook me they reached his hand for my face
"And the little princess is caught...tell me, baby...how long did you think you could run away huh? ''he murmured in a husky way as he trailed his thumb over the tape of my neck and tilted my head up. I frowned while he grinned and teased to kill me but ended up sliding his cheek over mine until he got to my left ear "Leo is here to stay"he mumbled this breath brushed on my sensitive skin and I shivered knowing I had an obstacle getting to Victor
"Haha….haha...right...look here Mr heartthrob...I need to take these files to my boss quickly"I said with nervous laughter and showed my small puppy eyes to the rascal of a man and held tightly the things I had in my hands but he frowned narrowing his eyes into slits suspiciously and snatched the files from me unexpectedly and grabbed me by the wait and forcefully flipped me around connecting his body with me and I let out a sound just as I looked to my left I saw Victor stnding there with his eyes on us. Leo saw him too and I felt him loosen his grip on me as we both froze in place. I knew why I was scared but why was Leo afraid to see Victor
"Damn him...why is he here?"I heard Leo mutter a few curses just as Victor strode to us looking angry.
