Chapter 101: Chapter 101

The next morning Victor woke up at his usual time. He had to go to the office and finish up some pending work he left although he knew his employees were capable enough to handle work without him around hence he took his time to get ready

After a bad night of tossing and turning all because the picture of his Surrogate in the arms of another kept flashing before his eyes. The thought of his Surrogate getting together with Leo. Just the thought of it had him feeling rage and to get rid of the rage boiling in his blood. He decided to go for his morning workouts

It was good to have a morning with noises around and after he was done with his workouts. He hit the shower and after getting ready he proceeded to look at some of his files. There was a knock on the door and breakfast was delivered

"Sir... Ms. Beverly came in a while ago" Julia informed her boss as she set the tray of food on the table since Victor was sitting on his bed. Victor didn't even look up as he concentrated on the task at hand while Julia arranged things in the room

He wasn't used to servants invading his space and after his Surrogate did more than she was expected he didn't know what to do however when he heard noises coming from outside. His attention immediately shifted to the small female voice and two male voices. His eyes narrowed as he looked up

"What's the noise?" he asked sternly creasing his brows and Julia who lowered her head fiddled with her fingers

"Sir...it's Mr. Leo and Mr. Kyan teaching Ms. Payton how to swim"Julia spoke nervously and left the room just like that

Victor was not happy as he continued to hear the screaming and cheering. He didn't want to be affected but it seemed they were having fun and knowing the poolside could be seen from the bedroom window. He put everything down and proceeded to the open window. As much as he tolerated his Surrogate and Leo. This time they went too far. He was damned to let Leo touch any part of his Surrogate and looking out the window and what he saw made his blood boil

It was clear someone was trying to provoke him even more. The pool could be seen from where he was and fixing his eyes on the little lady nearly naked in the water surrounded by two half-baked men positioned her, he felt rage. He didn't even know where the anger came from but he was not happy as he saw how she was resting her hand on Leo's shoulder while he held her by the waist. His little brother was holding her legs and the sight of it made him move away from the window and angrily strode to his bed to get his phone

Upon getting his phone, Victor cradled it with so much strength as he scrolled through until he found a number he wanted, and once he dialed it. He connected the phone to his ear and paced around angrily

"Now" he simply said immediately the call was answered and he disconnected and threw it on the bed

"How dare she...who does she think she is?" he muttered through gritted teeth and paced back and forth. He didn't know why he was angry but he didn't like the sight of Leo touching any part of his Surrogate's body after some time of waiting. His bedroom door flew open and he shifted his attention there

"Let me go...what's this huh!?"It was Leo who was dragged away by the most powerful security men he had like he was some child. Leo was thrown in and he ended up falling to Victor's feet. Of course, even Kyan was dragged in by the other security men and they held him in place before Victor whose expression was predatory as he scanned his prey before him. They were wet and only wearing shorts

"Bro...what's going on...what did we do now?"Kya whined as he tried to get out of the men's death grip unfortunately he was stuck there. Leo was unhappy as he looked at Victor with narrowed eyes and rose to his feet

"Vic.. any problem...you know I was just teaching Vivie how to swim, "Leo remarked disdainfully wondering why Victor had to send his men to read him out of the water like a criminal and brought him to his bedroom with so much disrespect

"Don't you have work to do?"Victor simply asked and carefully sat down on the bed shoving a few files away. His arms crossed on his chest as he looked at low with a bossy expression. Of course, Leo didn't understand what he meant and why he did what he did. Victor's arrogance was beginning to piss him off and look at him. Leo just wanted to rip him into shreds

"You know I worked last week plus I won't do the shoot until next week, "Leo said defensively. He was a signed model who had to work at Victor's company as their middle. They were about to release a magazine for the bank and he was the one to pose around like a professional working in a suit with a hot model. of course everything was for the good of the company but he didn't have to do the shoot until they found a proper female model

"I'm the boss and I say right now...get ready and go to the agency...I won't tolerate unprofessional people like you"Victor remarked bitterly as he rose to his feet and sized up Leo. It was odd to see Victor make a fuss over something so useless. All they did was teach Vivie how to swim so that she didn't drown the next time she wanted to swim but Victor ruined it before they could even do anything.

"Bro there's nothing for me to do there...as it is I…"

"You have ten minutes to get ready...I'll see to it that all the paperwork is done thoroughly and if any mistake is made...I'll find you for it and make sure I sue you for breach of contract"Victor lashed out angrily and said in a deep stern voice. His face flushed red from anger and his eyes were sharp that even Kyan felt scared

Why was he upset and being hard on Leo? Leo stared at his friend treating him like a total stranger and nodded

"Fine...I'll go right away," Leo said and left from there. He already worked and didn't have to do the shoot any time soon but Victor was being impossible with his ridiculous rules and threats

"Bro...what about me huh?"Kya asked when he finally managed to get free hoping he didn't do anything to upset Victor but the deadly glare he got from Victor had him lowering his gaze from fear

"Pack your bags.. you are shifting to the hostels" saying that he gestured for the men to take Kyan away and he was not happy

"No, you can't do this. I know I hated homeschooling but...but now I want it...it's good for me...bro please!"  Kyan said as they dragged him away begging his brother not to do such a thing when he was beginning to enjoy homeschooling with Vivienne around. She was fun to be right and sometimes she joined him during his lessons which made it fun but now Victor was being unfair to him. What he did to deserve such harsh treatment from his brother with Victor no one had a say in his decisions and after making sure he rid himself of the men hovering over his Surrogate, Victor smirked and took his phone.

He was already dressed in a suit ready to go to his office and immediately he walked out of his room. He stopped when he saw his Surrogate walking towards her room still in her pink swimsuit

"Ms. Payton" he called for her when she was about to enter her room without even sparing him a glance. Even when she saw him walking toward her. She pretended as if he wasn't there 'how rude'

"Yes sir,"  she said but Victor sensed something amiss about her behavior. She wasn't like herself and she was acting as if he was wasting her time

"Get ready you are coming with me" he simply said and prepared to walk away knowing he already said what he wanted and all she had to do was over him but her next words stopped him in his tracks shocked that she would dare refuse him and once he turned around to look at her. Her facial expression was blank and distant

"I'm sorry sir...I'm too tired to go anywhere...you can take Monica if it's urgent" saying that without even looking at him she walked inside her room and Victor watched as she slammed the door shut and heard the turning of a lock. Since when did she start locking her room and most importantly how dare she refused him

Victor was not happy as he remained standing there still looking at his Surrogate's closed door. He failed to move away knowing no woman or man would dare to refuse him unless they wanted to see the other side of him

"Sir. I"

"Scram!"Victor yelled so much that Beverly, who came to remind him about the meeting he was supposed to go to, flinched in fear as she immediately kept her mouth shut and ran away from there. She didn't do anything so why was Victor in a bad mood. He was grumpy but he had never yelled at since she started working for him which he just did now
