"That little slut will get what's coming for her ''Alexis muttered disdainfully as she made her way back inside. Vivienne was right about Brea. Brea was up to no good. For a while now they have noticed how she always sneaked out, sometimes to talk on the phone..one time they found her secretly talking in the Janitor's closet and when she saw them. She was scared and when they asked what she was doing there. Brea gave them a bunch of excuses. Vivienne suspected

"Carol...please give this file to Priscilla...she said she needed it for the meeting, "Alexis said and tossed a file on the counter and Carol nodded and moved away from her computer

"Sure... what else?" she asked, rolling her eyes as if in annoyance. Alexis just shrugged and elegantly walked towards the elevator. Her spying was over hence she decided to get some work done. Already she was annoyed with that Doctor. Who knew he could stoop as low as moving in next to her apartment

"That doctor thinks he's the most handsome man alive" she mumbled to herself disdainfully and pressed a few buttons and the elevator and she stood there waiting for the doors to open while she focused her attention on her phone screen. She hoped the video she took of Brea and that mysterious woman was enough to find out who she was. Soon the doors opened and Alexis walked in without even looking where she was going only to

"Ahh!" she gasped upon bumping into someone who held her from falling and when her head lifted trying by all means to calm her racing heart. She was greeted by a pair of oval-shaped brown eyes. So calm and hid so much, as much as she found him handsome and alluring, Alexis hated the sight of him

"Let...let go" she spat bitterly, shoving Maverick away from her and standing to the sides, "aren't you going out already," she asked sarcastically when she noticed that he was still in the elevator. He already reached the ground floor so why was he not moving? The door closed again and the elevator started going up. Alexis was unhappy, not sure why his presence gave her chills. He gave her an uncomfortable feeling she had never felt before and knew he was living in the same building as her and on the same floor. She was bound to go crazy

"Ms. Crawley, "Maverick said softly and stepped forward. Alexis moved aside not wanting to be any closer to him and to her surprise he extended his hand towards the elevator buttons. She watched as he pressed a few buttons and soon there was a sudden noise and the elevator came to a halt

"W...what are you doing?" she stammered the words out, noticing what he had just done. Maverick didn't say anything as he turned around to face and shoved his hands in his pockets. Alexis was agitated as she stepped away from her frightened of his sudden change of expression. He started advancing towards her leaving her no choice but to back away as she gripped her phone tightly. Her hands were sweaty from fear

"I'm...I'm warning...we have cameras here...don't...don't…" she stuttered while pointing at him with her index finger. Her face was covered in sweat dripping down as fear washed over her. This was bad

"What do you think I'll do?" the doctor muttered in a deep voice as he extended his hand to Alexis's side and trapped her completely. Her breathing could be heard from a mile away unfortunately that wasn't the case. His voice and approach gave her a creepy feeling

"W...what do you want from me?" she mumbled unfortunately her voice came out hoarse and strained. The doctor was so close to her. His face was an inch from his such that breathing and swallowing saliva was hard for her. What power did his presence hold on her and why was she looking him in the eyes as he reached his hand for her face and gently caressed her with the back of his fingers. His touch numbed everything in her body as his other free hand snaked around his waist and gripped her tight startling her as she hissed

"A...are you afraid of me...do I make you uncomfortable? Maverick whispered as he leaned down to her ear. His face brushed against her cheeks and Alexis sucked in her breath feeling him up closer

"N...never" she hissed trying to sound fine. Unfortunately Maverick lowered his head even close to her such that his chest and her chest connected. She could feel her pounding heart against her chest so did Maverick who leaned down her neck and rested his head on her shoulder. She was a little shorter than him hence he snuggled to her as he inhaled her intoxicating scent.

Right at that moment Alexis just wanted to die as the man touched her. Felt her body as if looking for ways to torture her. She was rendered helpless as the man mumbled things she didn't understand. Her eyes closed as a strange sensation ran through her body causing her knees to weaken

"R... Ricky...what…" she parted her lips to ask when he moved away unfortunately the lust she saw in his eyes made her heart race and before she could flee. His mouth was on hers.

One thing Vivie didn't understand was Victor. Since he promised to check her out, she even forgot about it and continued her work. A whole later she received a bunch of flowers, beautiful flowers and they came from Victor. Of course, nothing made her happy than receiving something from her man and when she read a card inside. She was helpless when the man asked her to meet him outside. With no trouble on the way, she decided to have lunch with him. She greatly needed to spend time with him especially when she was engaged to him. This was just to celebrate their engagement and she was thrilled

"Welcome sir...madam I'll be your waitress," an elegant lady dressed in a classy Italian waitress uniform said with a smile as she handed us the menu. I gave one to Victor and kept one for myself.

"Thanks, "I said smiling as I fixed my eyes on the different delicacies I could eat. All were foreign. According to Victor, he loved trying different cuisines which was why he brought me to a fancy five-star Italian restaurant

"So have you tasted anything yet...can you tell me what's delicious?"I said, placing the menu on the table and he handed me a glass of water. So Crystal-like and sparkly. I smiled and nodded a thank you.

"Everything is good…" he suggested, nodding only to earn a frown. He better not deceive me because I wanted to enjoy my lunch with him. Especially when he was looking so cute and handsome

"Vic I love this place…what will you eat"I couldn't help but love the atmosphere. So peaceful and pleasant. The fresh air was blissful as I glanced around and saw how people were having their meals happily. Some were couples or co-workers. But the impression was breathtaking and the service was top-notch.

"Hmm I'll have what you'll have," he said lazily and the waitress who just came to get our order nodded when I quickly told her what we were going to have. I didn't want him to blame me later for choosing his meal. The waitress left us after pouring some wine into our glasses. With him, I decided to drink a little wine and nothing felt right then clinking glasses with the man who carefully put the glass back on the table and fixed his eyes on me. It was a little embarrassing having Victor stare at me however the staring didn't last long when suddenly

"Hello there.. Ms. Payton" a male voice spoke just as I noticed we had some company. I saw how Victor's expression morphed into a deadly one upon seeing the man standing before is in a light brown suit, looking all put together

"Hey beautiful didn't think to see you here"Mauricio said smiling at me and ignoring Victor's existence completely. I didn't know what to say to him because the room was suddenly heavy with tension

"Mauricio?"I said his name, not sure what he was doing here. His sharp mischievous eyes were on Victor. This scared me greatly especially when Victor had a certain dark spot for Mauricio who was also responsible for those flowers he sent which caused Victor to lose it and now I was frightened of the outcome.
