"So what's up...did I miss anything?"Leo said, placing a bottle of champagne on Victor's desk and three glass cups. Of course, Victor's eyes had narrowed, not sure what was happening. Maverick too had that confused expression Victor had as both men fixed their eyes on Leo busy fighting to open the bottle was smiling like a fool without even minding the disdainful glares he was getting
"You know I always admired doctors when I was young"Leo started as he popped the champagne cheering on his own as the liquid rained on the table making Victor and Maverick move back
"So smart and hot and adorable...you know that's what women think...male doctors are hot heros," Leo said pouring a single glass and then another until he filled three glasses with champagne
"Drinking in the afternoon is a bad idea...don't you have work to do, "Victor said when Leo handed him a glass stopping Leo mid as he shifted his gaze from Victor to Maverick and he wanted to laugh hard in fact he laughed as he set the glass guys near Victor then shoved another to Maverick
"Isn't it funny...you guys are just horrible...I mean any woman wouldn't be so lucky" he said, gulping down the entire glass and exhaling as if he had taken something sweet. His smile increased so much that Maverick and Victor weren't so, please
"Get out," Victor said with a warning glare unfortunately Leo didn't kind as he shrugged getting Maverick's glass
"Sometimes drop the act guys...for goodness's sake...a woman is a woman.. don't expect her to smile when you receive business transactions or medical stuff, "Leo remarked arching his brows at both men who didn't seem so happy hearing him. Maverick's eyes narrowed as he leaned back and crossed his legs elegantly while Victor moved his folded hand to his mouth as if supporting his chin
"Don't you have anything to do or is your brain filled with liquor?"Maverick asked the same thing Victor was about to ask Leo who was grinning like a fool as he snatched the entire bottle Victor was about to put away and kissed it
"Doctors are boring, so are businessmen...damn it's fun...you have beautiful women in your lives…."Leo said pausing a little as he drank champagne straight from the bottle making funny sounds that made Victor feel nauseous and so did Maverick
"Don't recite boring lines about business or prescription for goodness's sake, that's a turn-off," he added, laughing at how boring the two men were. They had everything in their lives to woo women. Good bodies, hot ones for that matter. Handsome and wealthy are a perfect blend for trouble and all that drive women crazy unfortunately these two were the opposite and more ignorant
"It seems you are running your mouth more than it should?"Victor said coldly as he pushed his chair back and crossed his legs gracefully. Maverick nodded at that because he had no woman in his life
"Yeah yeah...break my face...the thing is..."Leo said, throwing his hands in the air in a nonchalant way accompanied by an eye roll "I'm better than you two put together" he added with a smirk and by now Victor was seeing red from anger. Maverick wasn't affected much except for the doctor part. He wasn't all so romantic
"Scram!"Victor yelled slamming his fist on the desk so hard that Leo's eyes widened in shock as if he was startled but soon started laughing
"Hahahaha...oh baby should I woo you with a fat balance account and the number of patients I brought back to life? '' Leo joked as he laughed hard himself. His jokes were dry that he knew but he couldn't help but tease two men who were in the same boat
"Stop it"Maverick muttered coldly, shooting daggers at Leo, busy laughing like a mad man. Victor looked like he was about to explode from rage
"He needs to cry a bit...he's a loser," Victor said hating every bit of how Leo was mocking them to their faces
"Hahaha okay, guys but seriously...try to upgrade okay...break my face or jaw the thing is you need to ace up your love games…" by now Leo was slowly slipping off his chair afraid of the consequences of teasing Victor….
"Maverick...she's attracted, just open up and stop being such an ass, "Leo said more seriously than Maverick was about to spit fire at him to shut his mouth. He didn't have anyone so Leo needed to cut his tongue and swallow it
"Security" Victor who already pressed the call button said only for Leo to realize something as he looked at both men with wide eyes
"No...come on bro...all I am saying is stop acting so dominant and spoil her...drop your high status and be her only man...her puppy" by now two giant men had barged into Victor's office and grabbed Leo by the shoulders. He winced in pain when the men held him so uncomfortably that he wasn't happy. He was just trying to better two men who knew nothing about wooing women or spoiling their lovers
"Take him out. if possible lock him up"Maverick issued out an order and the men nodded and dragged Leo out as he shouted for help unfortunately he was long gone when the door slammed shut
"So who's the girl?"Victor asked Maverick with amusement in his eyes and Maverick exhaled in disbelief not sure why Victor was acting like a lover boy
"Can you tell me why you are being such an ass of a man?"Maverick countered back with a mischievous smirk which had Victor frowning as he rose to his feet and took the remaining champagne bottle Leo left. He came with two, opened one, and left a sealed on
"What makes a man jealous?"Victor asked, arching a brow at Maverick who got up from his chair as well and took a clean glass, and waited for Victor to pour him a glass.
"Seeing another man with his woman?"Maverick said doubtedly only to get a questionable glance of suspicion from Victor.
"What else?"Victor added after a while of silence between the two men as Victor poured his friend a drink. Maverick nodded raising the glass of champagne midair as if for cheers and walked back to his seat
"Another man making your woman happy"Maverick replied and this time Victor's face changed drastically. Anger flashed in his eyes
"What can you do if that happened to you?"Victor fired another question this time Maverick went into deep thoughts as he sipped his champagne taking his time to swallow the cold liquid which soothed his throat as he blinked a few times. He didn't have a girlfriend but Victor's questions brought concern to his heart. The only girl who appeared in his mind was that girl he saw dancing with other men smiling. Thinking about that his blood boiled so much that Victor saw Maverick's angry expression for the first time. A look of jealousy
"Make the culprit pay"Maverick made a low growl which had Victor laughing but he stopped knowing he did something bad.
"And what do you call a man who referred to his woman as someone from the brothel?"Victor asked more seriously and Maverick's eyes narrowed suspiciously
"An ass***, "Maverick said in a nonchalant tone looking straight at Victor questionably
"Damn it"Victor made a low curse as he ran his hand in his hair frustrated with himself and his lack of anger control. He was a total jerk to say such horrible things to Vivienne. He went too far but he couldn't stand it seeing all those flowers delivered to her. He hated the man who had his eyes on a woman who didn't belong to him
"Did you do something...damn it Vic"Maverick was about to ask, but looking at Victor's hesitant expression and he knew Victor acted like some typical businessman who only knew how to make deals not tame a woman's heart the right way. Thinking up to here Victor was in boiling soup.
