(Vivienne)

At last, the tension of the drama had subsided. No Vivienne has a secret admirer and I was happy about that

"No, you take it...do you think I'm crazy?"I heard others arguing about something. We just got back from lunch and I saw how serious everyone was. Since that time in the morning, I haven't seen Victor. No one was allowed to see the boss' strict rules from Victor. I tried to convince the men standing outside his door to let me see him unfortunately they wouldn't let me see him

"The boss is in a terrible mood...the MD was thrown out of his office because he was late for the board meeting," one of the intern males named John said to Brea and the other two. I didn't mind as I concentrated on my work. Victor's tantrums didn't bother me one bit. I was working so I had nothing to say

"Hey... Vivie" and there came to the person who caused a scene

"What's up?"I asked sarcastically without even looking at her and I was surrounded by several of them

"Vivienne pardon us but...we have an issue"this time it was John who said. He wasn't so bad after all. He had a calm voice but that didn't mean he never rubbed shoulders with Brea

"Do you need anything?"I said seriously and continued punching a few keys and didn't dare to look at them. I could feel their hesitation and I knew something was serious.

"There are some important files which need sir's signature urgently"

"We tried taking them to sir...but he's in a terrible mood...so…"Brea added when John started and this had me looking at them with arched brows wondering why their work had to do with me when I didn't have any work to take to Victor

"And what's my concern" if he was in a foul mood to even accept the files why bother. He was the one losing millions, not us. He was a boss why was he acting up as if he was the only one to encounter bad days

"Well, the thing is…"

"Take the file to the boss... please Vivie...we need his signature" this time it was Priscilla who said and I was surprised. She was Victor's right hand or was it his secretary. Why was she here among the interns begging me

"Supervisor...but I.."

"The MD needs signatures on these documents"Priscilla cut me off before I could say anything and took some files from Brea and handed them to me. I was lost as to why she was scared of her boss "please Vivie help us...if he doesn't sign these today... we'd get into trouble" she added pleading with her eyes. I scanned the people before me, not sure what was happening. If he was in a foul mood to throw his MD out of his office why would he spare me? He'd probably insult me like the others but they convinced me leaving me no choice but to  agree

"Fine...let's see," I said and took the files. They cheered in relief but one glare from me had them shut up. This was a terrible idea. If Victor didn't want to see anyone then why not let him be.

"These people now think he will listen to me," I said while heading towards the elevator. It would have been great if Alexis was around to help me unfortunately he had gone out with Leo. Unfortunately, the advertising department has some commercials to shoot and Alexis was chosen to be part of it. And since Leo was the face of the company. He chose her to follow him around and observe to report to Victor later

"Here we go"I exhaled and inhaled once the elevator came to a halt and I went straight to the man's office. For a boss, he wasn't supposed to be so moody but I didn't care hence I reached for the door and knocked two times

I stood there waiting for a reply but there was none. I guess he was acting up but I listened carefully to see if there was someone in there but no.

"I just go in, "I remarked rolling my eyes in annoyance and twisted the knob, and in no time I pushed the door open not caring what he would say

"Out!"I didn't even show myself when the man yelled angrily. I guess everyone we're right. He was in a bad mood. I ignored his anger and proceeded in and closed the door lightly. He was sitting behind his desk as usual. His coat was hung to the sides. He had rolled up his shirt sleeves to his elbows and his hair was a little messy as if he had been running his fingers repeatedly and his necktie was loose, not sure if he was tugging at it angrily

"I'm sorry sir...but…"

"Did I say you should come in...who do you think you are!?" the man said disdainfully as he looked up at me with complete anger in his eyes. For a second I thought they switched Victor but clearly, he was just angry

"My apologies sir but the entire building is on fire trying to get some documents signed by you," I said even though he was looking at me with a deadly glare that drilled holes if it could. If eyes could kill then I would have died right away

"Take those files back or else," he said coldly when I tried to place them on the desk… was he doing this. Was this all because of the morning incident where some insane man brought me flowers

"You are acting like a fool over something so little...this is a place of work not… don't mix business with personal affairs" I switched to getting angry as well. He was acting like some jealous freak which was bad for business. He of all people knew any better than to mix business with pleasure so why was he acting up

"I don't tolerate mere employees treating this place like a brothel, "Victor said through gritted teeth and I was shocked by his choice of words. Was he kidding me

"Excuse me, please mind the words…"

"Do you think this is a place to bring your lovers!" he cut me off slamming his palm on the table so hard that I was startled. I step backward-looking at him with wide eyes. He was angry that I didn't know what was wrong with him to say such words to me.

"Out!" he yelled so much standing up from his chair and I let go of the files. They fell on the floor but I didn't dare pick them up.

I didn't stay to listen to more of his insults, I left his office and all I heard was a scattering of things and breaking of things when I closed the door

"Ms…"I nearly bumped into Jason getting out of the elevator when I stopped but I didn't stay there. He better deal with his boss, not me.

"I don't think that's right...you shouldn't treat your fans like that"Alexis said laughing and Leo frowned as he drove the car. He didn't know the little one was such a fun sport to hang out with. For a fan, she was tremendously jovial. Like Vivienne however even more mischievous

"I don't think that's an issue...I bet it's just a way of showing my superiority"Leo said with a chuckle but he got a glare instead. She already told him being a celebrity didn't mean he was better than others. Some looked up to him as her

"Do you have a girlfriend?"Alexis asked, knowing the woman who dated Leo was so lucky but looking at him taking his time to answer. Alexis didn't think so

"Don't tell me you are single" she said lowering her voice but Leo just nodded and took a left turn since they had already arrived at the company. Alexis didn't ask further not sure if there was more to the story or maybe he suffered heartbreak

"Let's just say...I like being single," Leo remarked with a faint smile as he parked the car right by the entrance, not the parking area. Alexis's eyes narrowed suspiciously knowing she had to ask Vivie about this

"Okay so tomorrow I think I'll pick you up from your apartment," Leo said while opening the door for her. Alexis nodded and took his hand as she got down and smiled. He had fun watching him pose for the cameras. He was naturally handsome and those abs had her drooling.

"Yeah and this time don't rush me when having lunch...see I'm so starving," she said pouting at Leo who chuckled and pinched her cheeks cutely and wrapped his arms around her back, and was about to lead her inside when the door opened and Maverick walked out however he stopped when he saw the person he didn't want to see

"Hey, doc... didn't know you came, "Leo asked, smiling at Maverick who didn't look so happy that Alexis saw in his change of expression. She didn't greet him after the chaos he did two days ago

"I came to see Vic…"Maverick said. Even though he was talking to Leo his eyes were on Alexis and the arm around her back

"Did you see him? "Leo asked letting go of Alexis and she stood to the sides while the men chatted

"Leo...I'll go in, I have work to finish, "Alexis said to Leo ignoring Maverick's sharp gaze and he gave her a half hug and she walked right past Maverick. Their hands slightly brushed against each other. A little warmth was felt by both but vanished when the woman walked to the door and disappeared inside. Maverick was lost taking in a familiar sweet scent that he didn't even hear what Leo was saying to him but he nodded inattentively and Leo clapped cheerfully startling him

"Great...you can't leave so soon...come let's go and bother Vic… maybe have a drink or two later, "Leo said, dragging Maverick back inside. Maverick didn't think he was in the mood to have a drink or two because alcohol would forever remind him of a certain someone.
