Chapter 122: Chapter 122

As Brazie was removing the plastic wrap that was placed on the hotdog that Alessia showed her, they were silently saying what they were doing when Brazie's thoughts couldn't be contained and she randomly said, "I'm sorry if I was only curious about mommy Kycine."

Alessia was taken aback and almost cut her hand, but she smiled and said, "Oh, no worries. It's a must that you'd be curious."

Alessia said, "Since it's been 3 or 4 years since she's been away from you."

Then Alessia didn't continue what she was saying as Brazie turned in to hug her at her waist, and that's when she realized something was off.

Alessia decided to turn and bend to see Brazie, only to find out that the little girl was crying, "What's wrong?"

Alessia didn't know what to do and just hugged Brazie until she could calm down and told her.

Alessia felt that the girl was keeping it all to herself, even though there were many people around her, and after Alessia put down her stove, she let Brazie release all her feelings.

And when Brazie calmed down, Alessia decided to remove her tears from the little girl's eyes and said, "Look, I'm more beautiful than you now because you cried."

Brazie just chuckled and said, "Shut up mom, Grandma said I'm more beautiful than you are."

"Oh did she?" Alessia said, pretending to think and mumbling, "Should I get plastic surgery?" which made Brazie laugh and hug Alessia once more.

"If I wasn't with you, I would be so lonely."

Alessia felt sad for a girl that was only seven years old to feel sadness because of what happened, and then to change the topic, she said, "Can we cook now? So we can go to your room."

Brazie just nodded happily and then they continued what they were doing.

Alessia made a sizzling hotdog that almost looked like a sticky rice cake that they sell on the streets because she put sticky rice cake on it.

Alessia let Brazie drink tons of banana milk, and she got a soda for her to drink.

"Cheers?" Alessia offered the boy in front of her

"Am I allowed to do that, mom?" Brazie asked.

But Alessia held her hand and tossed the can of banana milk into her soda, and Alessia laughed.

They were hanging out on the big balcony that Brazie's room has, and as they were enjoying each other's company, talking about school and stuff, suddenly Brazie became silent and hugged her knee and said, "Mom, can you tell me what happened to my real mother?"

"Is she really in the countryside?"

Alessia, who was lying on the floor, sat up, as to what she had heard. "Where did you hear that?" she asked, confused.

And Brazie just looked at her and said, "Can you answer my question first?"

"It would be a really big help before I resent someone."

Alessia clicked her tongue and just looked at the moon that was in their view and looked at Brazie, who was looking down waiting for her. "Come here."

Alessia tapped the space beside her, and Brazie moved to be on her side. Alessia took a deep breath and said to herself, "Here it goes."

"Remember when I told you that your mother was in the countryside because of the trauma she felt?" Brazie nodded.

"And how did I tell you that your real dad was the reason?" Brazie nodded again.

Alessia didn't know how to tell this boy because she didn't know the effect: "Tell me if you're feeling discomfort or your--"

"Chill, I can handle it." I'm a big girl now. " Alessia was put at ease and took a deep breath before speaking again.

"That was all a lie. We made that up because your little heart couldn't handle it."

"We made that up until you reached the ideal age for us to open up about what happened to your mother."

Brazie just looked at Alessia and said, "So what happened, mom?"

"I don't know what happened, but your mother is in prison after recovering from taking your real father's bullet"

Alessia was looking at Brazie and knew that she can't say what she know to this child, but Brazie held her hand and nodded, so she decided to continue and said, "The countryside we are saying is at the prison, where your real father, from being guilty of hurting your mother, took a gun from a policeman and killed himself."

"That's why we lie; it's because we want you to live a normal life," Alessia said, but Brazie's face turned gloomy, and said

"I was getting bullied as my classmates were telling me that my mother was a serial killer that was in prison for years," Brazie said, and Alessia's hand went to her mouth because of being shocked.

"I was getting bullied by it and kept on depending on myself, but I think they are right," Brazie said

And hindi alam ni Alessia ang gagawin niya and ended up suggesting, "Do you prefer going to a different school?"

Brazie just smiled and said, "Don't worry mom, I can handle myself."

"But would you like to accompany me to the president's office?"

"I want to file a complaint," Brazie said, and Alessia just hugged her and continued to say sorry.

Alessia mistook the thought that Brazie would be told by it even before she could open up, "Thank you for being brave, my beautiful angel." as stated by Alessia

That made Brazie giggle as her worries flew away and Alessia suddenly was reminded, "Would you like to visit your mother?"

"Of course, if you would let me," Brazie said, and Alessia just nodded and tucked the hair that was on Brazie's face and kissed her forehead.

Brazie looked at her and asked, "When are you and Dada Blade going to be married again?"

"Huh?" Alessia said, shocked.

"I want to have a sibling," Brazie seriously said.

In a busy workload that was at the top of the building, a man's desk was filled with lots of documents and paperwork that he had to work on for the following week.

James entered the room and then placed another pile of work on his extended desk and said, "I'm sorry for all of this, Mr. Armstrong, but your ticket back to Florida was already purchased."

Blade loosened his necktie and said, "That's the better method to be energized." and smiled at James.
