Chapter 121: Chapter 121
Alessia was taken aback by what Brazie said.
She forgot that much more had passed around them.
It had been almost 3 years since the incident happened, and so much had happened.
Everything came to justice, and after that, the life of Alessia and her parents became peaceful. Her father and mother woke up; it was pretty okay.
That's the only time they had a hard time recovering, but it didn't prevent them from being unstoppable in life.
Alessia was taken aback when Brazie asked that question that says, "When can I visit my mother?"
As to why she can't tell her something, Emelda and Raener are just bothered, changing the topic to where Brazie's eyes sparkle, which is getting her car, condo, and all.
And eventually, the question was stuck in Alessia's mind.
Even though she was participating in their live chat, she still couldn't avoid telling her.
As a result of the three years that had happened, the adults couldn't bring it to Brazie since she was quite young and it was too much for her to handle.
Instead, when Brazie was about 5 years old, they explained that her mother, Kycine, eventually took a job in the countryside to relieve her mind because of the trauma her father caused, but as the child grew, they did not allow her to be in vein on herself and surrounded her with lots of love.
The gathering they had with them got boring, and eventually, Brazie decided to go home because she knew she would meet the other side of her family, which was Grizel and Bill, who was also looking forward to giving her gifts and stuff.
They entered the car, and Brazie was silent.
As Alessia took notice, she decided to pry the child's lonesome time, "Are you alright?"
"Did the frappe make you feel bad?"
Brazie just looked at her and said, "I'm fine, mom."
Alessia just decided to remove her seat belt and then reached for Brazie to fasten her seat belt, and then Alessia placed her forehead on Brazie's and said, "I'm not going to know what's going on if you aren't going to tell me."
"Knockel-head," Alessia said, and then Brazie just smiled.
Brazie grew up with straight hair with curls on its tips, a small pointy chin face, thick eyelashes, even brows, and the most beautiful pair of almond eyes.
She pretty much took up on her mother's side, but on the attitude, everyone knew how she got it from her stepfather.
The ride was long, but Brazie was just quiet.
That made Alessia curious if something happened at school, but she knew that Brazie is not the most outgoing kid, which will take time as she grows older.
Alessia decided to open the window and said, "Get yourself some fresh air, kid."
The relationship between Alessia and Brazie was never easy, but, as the day went by, Brazie knew that she couldn't get rid of this caring, understanding, and also beautiful lady to be a mother.
As they were always together, Brazie eventually had the opportunity to open up and decided to think of her as her mother instead of her real mother.
Alessia reached the Armstrong residence where Brazie would be staying, but before the girl could get out, she was a bit hesitant, which Alessia immediately noticed, "Is everything alright?"
She was looking at Brazie, but he didn't answer her.
"Is it because you're tired of walking? I can deliver you to the very frontβ"
Brazie just looked at her, looking all flushed, and said, "Would you like to have a sleepover mom?"
Alessia's eyes sparkle "Of course I want to!"
"Are you for real?" Brazie mumbled, looking at Alessia, who was looking all excited.
Alessia was looking at Brazie as they entered the road to park their car and then thought of it as a nice bonding opportunity and she decided to open up something to Brazie that she kept for almost three years.
As soon as Alessia got out of the car, she dialed her mother's number, and she informed her that she was going to sleep with Auntie Grizel because Brazie requested it.
Alessia was overjoyed talking to her mother, and Brazie just looked at her.
As soon as the call ended, Brazie said to Alessia, who was coming back to where she was, "Aren't you old enough to call grandma for a sleepover?"
Alessia just laughed and placed her arm on Brazie's shoulder and said, "That's called respect and you should do one too, you know, especially when you hang out with friends."
Alessia and the little girl got inside, and Brazie was complaining until they got inside the house, where the adults were waiting for their return.
"Good evening," Alessia said, and Brazie went on ahead to go to her grandparents.
Grizel hugged and kissed Brazie.
Brazie looked at them with shyness in her eyes and said, "Can mom have a nap over here, mommy?"
And Grizel was taken aback and smiled, "Of course honey, but did you have dinner?"
Brazie was about to say something, but Alessia said, "I'll make something for us, Auntie. Is that alright?"
Grizel chuckled and took Bill's hand to stand up, "Sure, we will be on our way to bed."
"Or else Brazie will scold me, saying that staying up is not good for old folk like us."
Alessia was flushed and then looked at Brazie, who just shrugged her shoulders and went on to head to her room to take a shower, and Alessia faced Grizel and Bill and said, "I'm deeply sorry for what Brazie said. Just live your life to the happiest."
Bill just smiled at her and said, "We will dear, good night!"
Alessia just went on to head to the kitchen to make herself prepare something the two of them would eat on their sleepover, but as she was preparing the thing she needed, Brazie appeared beside her and said, "Can I help."
"Of course, you can."
