Chapter 110: Chapter 110
She didn't know what to say as she compared her finger to the hand she was holding. She was crying like a madman.
Blade was just looking at her. I didn't know what to do. Alessia's chest started to tighten as she remembered if Dred asked her if she got this
"What if I don't get through this? Will you come back? "
Alessia asked with a trembling voice. Alessia caressed his pale face, and we told her that he'd been stuck here for days, that Blade held it for her to see
"Excuse me, Miss."
"I advise you to stay away from the corpse because of the pungent smell, and it's for your good," said the man who assisted them to enter.
"Is everything already ready?" Alessia asked while sitting and crying.
Blade didn't like it either, as he turned his hand into a fist and said, "Yes, I just want you to see him before removing his organs."
Alessia couldn't contain it anymore when Blade's hand touched her and carried her to see Dred again.
Alessia was just looking at him, and even though she had difficulty bending to reach Dred's forehead,
"I'll be fine, hun, rest well." Then Alessia kissed it.
The assistant closed his eyes in disgust, but Blade didn't bother her. It was something that Alessia needed to do.
Blade held her until they could get out, and Blade turned her to face him.
She kept crying with her eyes closed, as if even when she was sleeping, Blade could see the tiredness in Alessia, who was almost lifeless.
"It's okay, just use me and cry."
She began to cry as Alessia's shoulder began to shake, and what made it even more painful was that it didn't make a sound.
Blade stroked her back. He knew it was the least he could do because he couldn't relieve her pain.
--
The day Dred's body will be buried
Alessia's day was filled with condolences. Jake was there, Dred's secretary. Helping her attention to the people who sympathize with her
"Alessia baby, I think you should take your rest," Elma said as she held Alessia by the arm.
Alessia was just like that for days. You can notice the pale lips and dehydration on her face, but you still can't deny her beauty.
Alessia looked at Dred's portrait that was hanging beside his wake.
She looked at his lively eyes, even eyes that she imagined sparkled, and his deadly smile that when he used on an angry Alessia would cause him to peel back.
"Seriously, he died young."
"What a poor child. The world is not safe anymore."
"The child they had fun with most at a young age, she lost him too soon."
Those were the words that Alessia always heard. Sleeping should be a great escape for her, but her dreams were repeating endlessly.
How she saw Dred wiping her dad's hand, how everyone blamed her, how she saw him die in front of her eyes, and how Dred asked her if she could, and he asked her to return.
She kept on returning, but this time she wanted to return with him.
Blade was serving a cup of coffee to those inside Alessia's house; it was not made in their condo because it was too little and not allowed due to condo policies.
While looking at her, being hugged by her mother, he raised his hand, approaching Alessia's head from afar and caressing it lightly, hoping for better days to come.
For some reason, Blade also blames himself for pursuing it too much.
He's thinking that maybe he's somehow the reason Dred ended up in that situation.
He's the reason for searching for Eugene, but he doesn't know that this is what will happen.
Blade knew that he had overestimated that guy with the same face as him.
"Thank you for being here, Blade, even though you do so much at work," said Emelda.
Blade just smiled at her and said, "I'm sorry for your loss, Mrs. William."
Emelda just looked at him and then at Alessia, who was sitting next to Dred.
Then Karla and Clarize were running towards their destination because they had to take Dred to the final destination.
Karla hugged Alessia and, out of consciousness, Alessia cried out loud, making everyone hear it.
Emelda didn't restrain herself, out of sheer pity for her daughter.
Blade looked the other way and blinked a bunch of times to prevent his tears from falling.
"He said he's leaving, but not in this way."
"I was trying to pursue myself to accept everything."
"That you are no longer beside me, but what can I do, Dred?"
"When you took half of me with your body."
"No..."
"I can't accept it."
"Even if it takes a thousand years..."
"I will wait for you even if it costs me my life, just to be with you again, Dred."
Everyone was looking at her, crying her heart out in Karla's arms.
The ambiance was so gloomy and Alessia was so pale that she could collapse, but she was preventing herself from doing so.
"Dred told you that you got this right?" Karla said while holding Alessia's head, making her face Karla
"Y-yes, but I-I can't, Karla."
"I accepted it, but it hurts so much."
"Bullshit! The person who did this to him,"
"Dred didn't even deserve it," Alessia said, crying, and Karla did nothing but hug Alessia with tears in her eyes, and Clarize didn't do anything but just stare at Dred's wake.
He doesn't look happy, which was more agonizing to look at.
"Dear, it's time to go," said Emelda as she reached again for Alessia.
Alessia tried to stand, even though her feet were too heavy, held Dred's coffin, and looked at him one last time.
"Til we meet again, Hun!"
Alessia kissed the glass and decided to turn around when they closed the lid.
Alessia tried to walk but was held with a strong grip with the same warmth as Dred and looked at who it was.
"I got you."
She felt reassured, but her heart ached for believing he was the sole reason her husband had left her.
