Chapter 62: Chapter 62

I carefully read through the papers I held.

There were DNA test results indicating that my grandfather was Lolo, detailing my father's assets, and shedding light on Camille's life.

Camille and I are actual cousins.

The true relationship between Heidi and me.

I glanced at him.

“Don’t you think I wouldn’t find out about what you and Heidi were doing? I can sue Heidi for using her profession unethically!” He snapped at me.

I was staring blankly at the papers in my hands, unsure of what to say. It was still processing in my mind that Keith knew the secret I was hiding.

“You fucking hypnotized my cousin! You made him believe in your imagination! He is living in the world that you created!” He shouted.

I didn't know what to say. Should I defend myself, or should I explain to him?

“Why did you fucking hypnotize him? You're not stupid enough to not know that what you did had an effect on Lanvin's mind!” He shouted.

I tightly held the papers in my hands.

I glanced at the household staff who were listening to our conversation. I ignored them and focused back on Keith.

“Why do you care? You're just his cousin,” I boldly replied.

“I like how brave you are,” he said, amused.

“What the hell is happening here?”

We both looked at Nick as Keith called him.

Get ready, Keith.

“You’re in the right timing, bro. Your wife has something to admit,” Keith said with a smirk.

“Don’t believe him, Nick.”

“Still a manipulator, huh.”

“Shut up! You’re just jealous of us, that's why you want to ruin our marriage!” I snapped at Keith.

“And what do these pieces of evidence mean?” Keith asked me, his eyes scrutinizing.

Nikolai picked up the papers and read the information. I closed my eyes tightly.

“What are these?” Nick asked in a serious tone.

“I don’t have a mental illness,” he said firmly.

“Yes, you don’t have one yet! Do you have the guts to suddenly fall in love with her?” Keith asked his cousin.

“Azaria manipulated and hypnotized you! Heidi is not our cousin!” Keith revealed.

“Nikolai, wake up from your dreams! Azaria is just fooling you! She's after your money!”

“That's not true!” I shouted.

They didn't pay attention to me.

I'm not after Nick's money; revenge is the reason why I did those things.

“What the hell are you talking about, Keith? Are you trying to ruin my wife's reputation?” Nikolai asked angrily.

“I wish that were true,” Keith replied.

“Won't you tell the truth?” Keith angrily asked me and tightly grabbed my arm.

“What the hell!” Nick reacted angrily and grabbed my arm. Keith didn't let go of me.

Suddenly, a man with a syringe appeared and injected something into Lanvin's neck. I didn't notice the man before.

That man is old. He has a mustache and curly hair. His face is wrinkled, and he has large eye bags, his skin is tan.

Lanvin suddenly weakened and sat on the floor.

Who's that man?

“The police are on their way to capture Heidi,” Keith informed me.

I promised Heidi that nothing bad would happen to her. I clenched my fist.

“What the hell do you want!” I yelled at him.

I made up Russell. Everything about Russell and what Lanvin knows about Russell is made up by me and Heidi.

Yes, I admit, everything wasn't an accident. Everything was a plan, but it wasn't my plan for Keith to find out about these things. I wonder how he found out everything.

I have a suspicion that Heidi told him, but I don't want to blame Heidi because she helped me. Heidi isn't crazy enough to put her life at risk.

“You! What do you want? Huh! What made my cousin crazy over you! And what are those pictures in his computer? Are you married to another man?!” Keith yelled at me.

He knows the truth, why should I be afraid?

Those pictures of me and Russell are edited. I took a random guy from the internet and then photoshopped it, and voilà, everything is not real.

Who is Russell? I don't know, I just made up a story.

I grinned at him.

I feel proud of myself because I made them believe, especially Lanvin.

"Are you confused and curious?" I asked with a grin. I am confident at this moment.

He didn't respond and just stared at me intensely.

"Don't worry, I am not married to another man. I didn't cheat on Lanvin; instead, he cheated on me and left me hanging," I stated.

He furrowed his brow.

"That's not your story anymore. I and Lanvin are married and happy. Aren't you happy to see your cousin happy with me?"

“Why would I be happy if I see him talking to someone we don't see!” He yelled angrily.

He's not the only one who saw Lanvin like that. I always see Lanvin talking to someone in our room that I can't see. It's the effect of hypnosis.

“That's normal,” I answered.

“You're the crazy one, Azaria. You're dragging my cousin into your madness,” he said coldly.

“I am not the one who's crazy here. Look at your cousin; he's seeing someone again,” I pointed out to Lanvin, who was sitting on the floor, smiling as if he's talking to someone.

Keith clenched his fist.

“Doc, what's happening to my cousin?” Keith asked worriedly.

I was surprised by what he said. He's with a doctor?

“Hallucination. Is he taking medicine? He needs to take his meds,” said the doctor quack quack.

Keith suddenly choked me.

“What do you want, huh!” He asked angrily.

I struggled against Keith's grip; I almost choked.

I knelt in front of Lanvin.

“Nick… nick..” I called him while tapping his cheek.

“Nick…” I whispered softly.

Lanvin suddenly hugged me.

“Wife,” he affectionately called me.

I glanced at Keith while Nick was embracing me.

“Don't you like the scene?” I asked him seriously.

“Lanvin loves me so much.”

“He doesn't love you. I know my cousin. He wouldn't just marry someone easily. He loves you because you hypnotized him!”

“No one's a saint, Keith,” I reminded him with a smile.

“Are you happy with what's happening to my cousin, huh!”

He's been intimidating me with his shouting since earlier.

I chuckled nervously. I was about to push Lanvin away when his embrace tightened.

“Lanvin cheated on me! I wouldn't do this if he hadn't left me hanging!” He shouted and pushed Lanvin away.

“So, the information I gathered was all true! The two of you had a relationship,” He said while shaking his head.

Me and Lanvin were ex-lovers.

“What do you really want to happen, huh!” Keith asked while searching my eyes and holding my arm tightly.

I laughed like I was going crazy.

"I just want Lanvin to love me," I told him honestly.

"I want him to be crazy about me, when that happens I will leave him," I said while looking into his eyes.

My heart feels empty. I admit that I can't leave Lanvin.

I love my husband very much. My brain and heart are fighting in this situation.

Love or revenge?
