Chapter 25: Chapter 25

<Azaria>

We looked at each other, he looked at me badly and had no emotion. I just cried and went back to my place.

"My paper bag," I said like a child.

"What the fuck?! There are so many of you but you act so slowly! Make it faster!”

He shows no patience to all of us. He didn't used to be like that, he used to be understanding and always calm. But today, another Nik is in front of us.

Could it be that he has a twin and has a bad attitude?

"T-it's over, sir," the guards told him.

“Get out!” Nik told him heartlessly.

While the housemates cleaned up the food I threw away.

"Sir, what shall I cook for you, ma'am?" Xyla asked fearfully.

“Don't give her food. She’s wasting food, so let her starve to death.”

Xyla didn't say anything and she and Auntie Pusing just left the room, meanwhile the guards had already left.

“Now, can you fucking tell me what you did this time, Azaria?”

Why is he calling me by my name?

"I'm talking to you! Answer me!”

I was startled by his shouting. I can't look at him. I just burst into tears.

"You can't pass me by crying!" He shouted.

It's like he's accumulated his anger towards me and now he's letting it all out.

Due to my excessive crying, I couldn't catch my breath. I was wailing, and Nik was clearly worried about me.

He couldn't bear to see me like that, so he approached and hugged me. His expression softened.

"I'm sorry," he said gently, "shhh," trying to calm me as he ran his fingers through my hair.

I am usually strong, and I can stand up to him, but I was just scared at that moment. It's as if he transforms when he gets angry.

I cried not because I was afraid of him, but because I was shocked and overwhelmed by my own bravado.

"Please, don't do that again. You made me damn worried; I was fucking worried when the maid said something happened to you. I left my meeting and drove for ten minutes when it should have taken twenty-five minutes," he said softly while still caressing my hair.

I just cried into his chest. I realized how much of a crybaby I become when it comes to him. All the strength I had built up seemed to disappear all of a sudden.

Due to my excessive boldness, I ended up creating a scam company.

I am not a crybaby!

"Please, stop," he said with difficulty, and he looked pained.

"I don't want to see you crying."

But why are you making me cry?

**

"Please, let me go out. I won't repeat what I did, please?" I used my sweet voice.

Okay, we're already good.

"No, Azaria, you can't win me over with your cuteness," he said firmly.

I hugged him while I watched, and he was busy with his laptop. After we reconciled, he had a meeting to attend to, which he had left earlier.

I bit my lower lip; maybe I was disturbing him too much, but it's also his fault. Why does he not want to let me out?

"I have a schedule with my dermatologist; it's been months since my last facial," I said sadly to him. "I'll die if I don't get a facial," I added.

He stopped what he was doing and looked at me.

"I'll accompany you. When is your schedule?"

“I can go alone.”

"No, I'll accompany you. I don't want any other man getting close to you," he said possessively. I was taken aback.

Oh no, it seems like our future daughter will have a hard time. Oh! Why am I already thinking about our future child!

"Okay, I'll buy my own skincare," I said.

"Use my money," he said, returning to what he was doing.

I haven't spent the money he gave me yet.

"I'll just use the money you gave me the other day. Besides, I don't want to increase my debt to you," I said hesitantly.

He sighed and pulled me closer.

"You're my wife, and what's mine belongs to you. I don't mind if you spend all my money. I work hard so you have money to spend and luxury things to brag about to your friends. I'm reaching your lifestyle because that's what you deserve."

I couldn't say anything.

I'm so lucky to have him like this.

I avoided his gaze because of what he said.

It's still early.

"H-hubby, let me go out," I pleaded, hugging his arm.

"W-what did you s-say?" he stammered.

"Let me go out," I repeated.

"No, the other one," he said, avoiding eye contact. I noticed that his neck was turning red. Does he have a rash?

"Which one? Lanvin, please let me go, I promise that I'll behave myself," I begged.

"No," he said firmly.

I felt sad with his response. He's so hard to persuade, always wanting things to go his way.

"I won't repeat what I did. Please? I need to meet the Engineer at my shop, but I couldn't because you locked me in here. I can't take care of my business," I reproached him.

He glared at me. "You can't convince me that way, Azaria," he said in a deep voice.

He removed my hug from his arm and pulled me to where his laptop was. He sat down and placed me on his lap. I quickly hugged him, wrapping both my hands around his neck while sitting on his thigh.

I'm not good at being affectionate, but I'll try.

"I'm also embarrassed in front of the person I talked to, and besides, I'm going to look at lots for the funeral parlor I'm planning to build. Come on, please let me go. I just need to take care of my business so I can get started," I said in a sweet tone.

He didn't answer and remained busy with his laptop, responding to emails. I scowled, feeling ignored, so I playfully slapped his arm, catching him off guard.

"Azaria!" he exclaimed, giving me a stern look.

I glared back at him. I won't back down.

"What do I need to do for you to let me go?!" I said, my voice almost teary.

"Kiss me," he said straightforwardly.

"I don't want to! You have bad breath!" I teased, but he was serious. He smelled like mint, actually. His breath was fresher than mine.

"I'm not complaining about your breath when I kiss you," he said seriously, making my eyes widen. He's so crude with his words. No filter at all. And I don't have bad breath!

"I don't have bad breath, okay!" I denied, annoyed. I might have bad breath when I wake up, but not all the time!

"Me too, I have good hygiene," he hinted.

"Are you implying that I'm not clean?!" I retorted.

"You said it to yourself!" he said seriously, finally giving me his attention.

"What?!" I angrily asked him, "fine! Remember that! Damn it! Don't you dare kiss me ever!" I snapped at him and moved away from his lap. He quickly pulled me back.

"Even if you have bad breath, I'll still kiss you," he said seriously while looking into my eyes, "don't get angry," he added in a gentle voice. Suddenly, all my negative emotions vanished when he kissed me on the lips.

"You get upset and angry so quickly," he said after we finished kissing.

"Do you have a name for your Funeraria business?"

"Yes!" I said enthusiastically, smiling widely, "Jalibing! With the tagline: 'Long live the newly deceased!'" I said loudly and clapped my hands.

His face turned sour, "You might not get any bookings with that tagline," he said teasingly.

"Hmm, how about this tagline: 'Your huhu is our haha,'" I said playfully, followed by a giggle. He just pinched both of my cheeks and kissed me on the lips.

I thought I could win him over with my liveliness and showmanship, but no!

"Hubby, please let me go," I pleaded, hugging his neck again. I buried my face in his neck. He smelled so good, an indescribable scent, not too strong but still captivating. His fragrance gave me the courage to fight.

"I'm still mad about what you did," he said seriously, clenching his jaw.

"And change your Engineer. I don't like you being surrounded by men," he said firmly with strictness.

I faced him, tears welling up in my eyes.

"Why are you like this, huh? I was just drunk that time," I lied, avoiding his gaze.

"Even when I was drunk, I knew what I was doing, Azaria," he said sharply. "You'll stay here. I'll establish your business, and I'll assign one of my secretaries to handle it for you," he firmly stated.

I was about to protest when he spoke again, "You'll stay here, wait for me to come home, and be ready to carry my heir."

I turned pale at his last words.

"I don't want to!" I quickly denied, "You can have a child on your own!"

He gave me a stern look, "I can't do it alone, and I want you to be the mother of my children," he reiterated.

"Don't talk to me!" I said angrily, breaking free from being cradled in his arms.

"Azaria!" He called after me.

"Azaria! If you don't come back here, I'll be angry!" he threatened, getting annoyed.

I sat on the bed and gave him a hostile stare.

"Don't come near me because I'll get angry too!" I threatened back.

Having children was part of the conversation, but I won't allow it! I'll leave him once I get the shares he promised me. He said he would willingly give them to me.

Why am I scared of him? He should be the one afraid of me. I stomped my foot in frustration because he was controlling me. It seemed like he had no intention of leaving me.

"Just stay away!" I yelled at him as he stood in front of me.

"Why are you so stubborn, huh?" he asked, trying to be patient.

I climbed onto the bed to distance myself from him.

"I don't like you! You're ugly!" I said, throwing a pillow at his face. It missed him as the pillow veered off course.

"What's your problem, huh?" he asked, looking confused.

"Having children was not part of the agreement! And besides, you'll have a child on your own! You said you'd give me the shares in the company!" I yelled at him like a child having a tantrum.

"I'll give them to you if you behave yourself. Look at your actions; you love breaking my rules and making me mad. How can I give them to you if you keep destroying my trust in you?" he said.

I fell silent at his question.
