Chapter 66: Chapter 66

When Daniel and Blair were still together, Blair was one of the most empowered women known for handling their company and being held as the first company to ever receive a reward for its outstanding performance in the business wave.

She won lots of awards, including the Growing Business Award in mid-2018 before the incident happened where she died and left her husband and daughter.

Upon learning of her death, Daniel saw that everything was planned, including all the property of his daughter Violet.

"Now that Daniel is gone, it's all ours, Midzy. Can you imagine it? " Ilena happily said that she was lying on the sofa and munching on the million dollar spread on the floor that she took out of the bank just to Liam on it.

Midzy was worried about Ilena, who was rejoicing upon her husband's death.

She said, "Please tone your voice down, mother. It's obvious that you only want money from him."

After these words fell, Ilena stopped and sat looking at Midzy with a weird smile on her face and said, "What's with the foul mood? What do you want, jewels? Bags?"

"A Lambo?" Ilena laughed really hard, but Midzy's face was still poker face and said, "You know that Violet is alive and Daniel's body couldn't be in front of Miss Dawnson's house without a reason. What if that old man did find out? That she's alive?"

Midzy bit her lip while looking at Ilena, who was just sitting while throwing money and letting it fall on her face directly. She couldn't believe that she was the only person who thought of something going on before the man died.

Ilena saw Midzy, who was now pacing while biting her nails, then Ilena just sighed and said, "Relax, that brat can't do something. She's helpless."

Midzy just rolled her eyes, and when she was about to utter a word, the door suddenly opened, revealing a man with his glasses reflecting the light with his dark aura. He entered the room, and Ilena straightened her posture, and Midzy was on the side.

"Brother, why didn't you tell me you were coming? I could have time to cleaned up." Ilena said, with a trembling voice.

Ramsey looked at the ground and saw all of the money that was scattered Ilena saw what Ramsey was looking at and immediately kneeled on her knee and gathered the money on the ground with an awkward smile on her face.

Ramsey just looked at her coldly and said, "I'm sure Midzy warned you about being too carried away?"

Ilena just picked up the money with trembling hands, not answering Ramsey, who's looking around at the spacious room where they are, "Throwing money on the ground as if it were yours?"

Because of the words that landed on Ilena's, she couldn't help but be annoyed as to why her stepbrother as he questioned her happiness and said, "He is dead and this belongs to me. Can you imagine it, brother? Our planned work all along. "

Midzy was stunned as she was confused as to what they were talking about. "A plan?"

"What----plan?" Midzy asked herself.

Ramsey just looked at Midzy, and she immediately understood this and left the room. Of the four corners of the room, only two of them are left.

Ramsey just looked at Ilena and said, "You should behave yourself. You know how fast news travels, even if it doesn't have wings."

"I-I know, it's just that this is so surreal and I-I was.."

"Enough! If I were you, I would find stronger evidence that this company does belong to you or else."

"Your little happiness wouldn't last that long."

Ilena just bowed her head as if neglecting her brother's legitimate thoughts, and it was true that she had no evidence that this company belonged to her; she was just the second wife.

"Clean this mess," Ramsey said, turning around and not looking at her again.

Ilena felt an inexplicable nervousness and picked up the money and panicked, even though it was torn. There was no hesitation, and then she pressed numbers on the telephone, and when the person picked up, she said in a panic, "Attorney Daryl, meet me once."

---

Lily knocked on the door, and Emelda said, "Come in."

Emelda was sitting on the chair when Lily entered the room.

"Are you okay now?"

Lily just hugged herself and turned away, knowing she wasn't okay but not knowing how to tell Emelda, and said, "We're leaving tomorrow morning."

"My father left me and my son a home.."

Emelda felt deeply sad and looked at Lily and said, "If you are comfortable with that decision, I will not stop you."

The old lady just smiled at Lily, and she felt bad about it. Lily felt sad about sympathizing with people who were not involved in what happened.

"Thank you for all this time, Miss Emelda. I'll pay you back soon."

Lily's eyes were cold, and Emelda didn't have a choice but to understand, and when Lily was about to go out, she said, "I know you won't do this..."

She sighed and added. "But if you betrayed me, you just showed that everything you've done to me was a pLiam."

-----

The next day,

Emelda and Lily were looking at each other as Justine placed all of their belongings in the car. Lily didn't hug Emelda for feeling so bad, especially for leaving her alone, but she has bigger responsibilities now, and Lily can't deny the fact that she will indeed need to learn something difficult for a small amount of time.

Jeric closed the trunk and said, "Miss, we're all set."

"Mommy, are we going to leave Mama Emelda?"

"I don't want to.."

Steve began to cry and cling to the old lady's thigh, and Emelda just hugged Steve and turned around, didn't even say good bye to Lily.

Lily felt sad but couldn't do anything about it and decided to turn to Justine and say, "Are you sure you're going to stay here?"

Justine just looked at her and said, "Are you really leaving?"

Lily just looked at the big mansion in front of her and how it became her shelter when she had no where to go.

She promised herself that she would return everything when she was done.

Lily held Steve and one by one looked at the windows of the big home just to see someone whose heart was pinched.

While letting Steve calm himself, the car left, and as soon as they left the gate, the big house was sad.

Liam couldn't take it, but he couldn't do anything, but as his tears were about to fall, someone knocked on the door, and before he answered, he wiped his tears.

He then gave permission, and Justine entered the room.

Justine, with a heavy heart, said, "Sir..."

Liam's heart tightened, and Justine added, "Miss LilyLily didn't give me clear instructions other than to give this to you."

Justine left the door quickly, and Liam fell on the floor as he looked at the ring in his palm that somehow shone before but now lost its glow when it left the owner's hand.
