Chapter 67: Chapter 67
On the top floor of Emelda's mansion, Emelda slowly entered the door just to see Liam lying on the floor crying. Seeing this, Emelda's heart was broken. She released her cane as if she couldn't let go of it before, it hit the floor, and she ended up hugging Liam. "I-I don't know what happened." Liam began to cry, his voice trembling. He learned what they both talked about and how his father was behind all of this.
He looked at Emelda and said, "This---can't be grandma, right? My father didn't do that, right? "
Emelda just hugged Liam, not knowing what to say because it was the first time she'd heard it was what she expected Ramsey to do, especially when he's hungry for money, power, and everything else.
"I can't assure you but---"
"If you really like to know, wait..."
"Wait?" Liam inquired as he rose to take a seat on the floor.
"Wait, even if life leaves the earth for her, I know she doesn't like what happened either."
Emelda was hurt as well by what Lily did, but she couldn't blame her as she was completely heartbroken and she knew how Lily's mind worked. She wouldn't stop until she saw proof that it wasn't Liam's father who was behind all of this, and Emelda knew that it was up to Lily if she would end up forgiving him or not.
"She's so heartless." Liam said
Emelda just decided to stand as she took her crane and said to Liam, "She's not heartless."
"Her soul had just left its body and it was your job to help her return it."
Liam's mind was not accepting anything right now, and he decided to be self-centered as the old lady left him by himself. Liam looked at the ring he was holding in his hand. He didn't know what he would ask or how he would say it.
"What did I do?"
"Shall I wait?"
"Did this just happen to me?"
Those were the thoughts running through his mind. Liam decided to pick himself up and decided to go down stairs, and everyone could see the longing in his eyes and didn't imagine that it was almost hours and it was very dark around the mansion. The atmosphere quickly changed from cheerful to sad and gloomy.
Liam noticed the door where he was always going and decided to ignore it and go home through the main door. He decided to glance at the room once more and, while holding the knob, there was some kind of electric shock when he turned it and saw that the room looked like a guest room, like it used to be, not like when he was here the room was---warm.
Liam decided to lie down, but no matter what turns he takes, it can't bring the warmth Lily provided for him.
"A place where I felt myself whole, was gone." Liam whispered
When Liam reached for the pillow to hug it, he suddenly felt something strange under the pillow. He touched it, which made Liam stand up to open the light in the room and look at the mail envelope. He saw what was written, "To Mr. Liam."
He hurriedly opened it and opened the letter without hesitation and saw that it was a letter from Lily to him.
"I know I should have said this when I was with you, but when I think of it, I feel more and more distant from you. I decided to leave you behind because you are starting to torture me and I can't help it. I don't know, but I blame you, even though it's not your fault and you are nowhere to be found. I love you, but I don't know if I really love you. While I'm writing this, I question myself if I love you because I'm so far away from you. Maybe it's better this way. I'm sorry. I won't rest until I've made whoever's done this pay. I hope you understand." -Violet Lennox

"Are you ready, Miss Violet?"
A woman stood on a large balcony, looking out at the massive view of California, hugging herself as the evening breeze slowly hugged her revealing white skin. She was dressed in a glittery fitter sleeveless dress with a real pear necklace and her hair hanging down.
Violet was looking at the full dark moon. She eventually got a nanny for Steve, who accompanies her to school and even when going to Miss Emelda's house. Violet doesn't want it, but she doesn't have a choice as her son's heart is closer to the people in that house.
"Are the things I need ready?" Violet asked as she went inside. She held a glass of wine and missed how she was before, but that wasn't needed.
Jeric just nodded and said, "Everything we planned for tomorrow is all ready and I hope you are as well."
Violet didn't let her mind be flooded with unnecessary thoughts, drowning in everything she needed to know, especially since she only had one week to know and say everything.
Violet entered the huge room and sat on an eggshell-shaped chair. Her posture improved more and, with her intimidating red lips, a grin appeared and said, "Ready. It's time to ruin their fantasies, don't you think?"
Jeric just gave her a smile and, with a bow, the man left her and went home.
After that, Violet's tense body suddenly relaxed, as she was traumatized that Jeric might scold her for having such bad posture and tell her it wasn't ladylike.
Violet rested half of her body on the table in front of her and decided to enter Steve's room.
Daniel's body was placed in Violet's mother's graveyard, which Violet had ordered Jeric to place there, and Ilena didn't have anything against it when Jeric told her that it was his master's order. She knew before that she didn't know where her mother's lie was, but she knew it. She simply did not want to inform her father.
Violet opened the door and an image flashed in her mind, where she suddenly saw Liam lying with Steve after a long and tiring day at work.
She sat beside Steve and brushed her fingers through her child's soft hair and kissed his forehead.
"I know how much you miss him, but we have to do this baby. I love you so much." Violet whispered in Steve's ear with gentleness and left the room.
Violet was nervous, but she'd do everything as she felt that she was the main character in her life ever wanted.
Violet has no more time to hide like Lily did before, 'Everything is falling into place."
