The door opened and this revealed Princess, who was furious. The two of them were shocked, and Daniel, who looked apologetic to Liam.

"I tried everything I could, sir. I'm sorry." Daniel said and hurried himself to leave.

Liam was looking at Princess and placed Lily behind him.

"What happened to you?" He asked Princess, whose whole personality seemed to be lost in a strange place.

The Princess Liam knows is elegant, not the one who wears a tube for a top and a very short skirt.

"Don't protect that girl; she's just trying to deceive you!"

Lily held onto Liam as she heard those words, and as Liam looked at her, she started to shake her head and the man in front of him just nodded.

"Your secretary told me that you were with your wife? Really?" Princess scoffed, "I didn't know that you would go down this low, for the person you thought was actually the mother of the child you thought you were!" She added as she was glaring at them.

Liam just looked at her emotionless, which made Princess stop.

"I don't know what has gotten into you. What are you saying? You aren't the friend I knew." He said coldly.

For some unknown reason, Princess wasn't happy when Liam appreciated her as a friend, and this time she guaranteed that the man she loved never looked at her as something she expected, which caused Princess's hatred to grow more.

"You're telling me what happened to me?" She crossed her arms in front of her, "But what happened to you?" She asked

"Before, you needed a lot of proof before you believed in something, but---now."

"Some---random girl appeared and you haven't even needed proof and going on like---this?" Princess said, "She even has a child as a bonus." She added, and Liam's hand turned into a fist.

"And now, without proper knowledge, she even allows her child to refer to you as daddy?"

"My god, Liam, the girl you chose has a really thick face." Princess said

Liam was looking at her furiously, but he noticed that Lily was just quietly looking at the girl in front of them, so he also calmed down and waited for the next thing this girl might say.

"And did you know what I found out?" Princess said, which caught Liam's attention, "A girl named Midzy told me that she ordered someone to rape her precious sister, and you know what that was?"

Lily's body began to tremble as to what she was hearing, but she couldn't speak as her tongue seemed to be pulled back and she didn't have the strength to take it back.

"Violet Lennox, the girl behind you is named Violet Lennox." Princess proudly said

"Isn't she ashamed of letting you be called by her dirty son "daddy"?" Princess said, and looked at both of them.

"If I were you, I would be smarter than to---"

When Princess didn't finish what she was saying, the sound of a loud slap from Lily's hand suddenly echoed.

She faced Princess with tears in her eyes and said, "I'll accept it if I'm the one you step on."

Lily then slapped her again on the other part of her face, "But for you to call any child dirty who has done nothing to you, that's where we're going to fight."

Princess held her face using both of her hands and looked at Lily with terror, "You're only here inside Liam's office, so you're brave--"

"No, no matter where you take me, I won't back down."

"Maybe you're the brave one because you thought Liam had your back."

Lily smirked and glared at Princess as she walked towards her and approached her ears.

Lily looked at Princess, who was holding her face, didn't move, and Lily said, "It's just sad; he doesn't even care about you."

Lily tapped Princess's shoulder, making her flinch.

Liam was just looking at them.

Lily once said, "How does it feel that your dreams were crushed, little by little?" Lily turned and was about to return to hold onto Liam.

Princess was full and was about to attach to Lily, but even before Princess could hold onto her hair, Lily caught her hand and held it, turning herself and placing Princess's twisted hand on her back.

"If there was someone naive here, that would be you!"

"Didn't your mother tell you how to respect others?"

"What is it to you if I was Violet Lennox?"

"What did you gain for blabbering things like I was raped?"

"Did it gain you anything from it?" Lily asked her, and Liam decided to get between them as he saw Princess tearing up.

Liam held Lily as he saw a tear in her eyes as well, and said, "You think I'm the one you embarrassed?"

"No! You embarrassed yourself more than me!" Lily said as she looked at Liam.

Liam felt that he needed to say something that would clear their minds. Princess sat down on the floor crying.

Lily was in his arms, and Liam decided to stand up.

"Did you realize why I wasn't investigating anything?"

Princess was just listening, but as for Lily, she decided to look at Liam and her heart skipped a beat.

"Is because when Midzy did that to her sister, I saw them doing that at a hotel we dined in." Liam said that Lily was confused.

"I decided to save Lily from a vicious act that would be done on her body without her knowing."

Lily was confused, "But how--"

"I didn't know you then, but when the wedding was called off, I learned who you are." Liam said, his eyes welling up.

"But please don't say it as if it were a rape. I know this doesn't count, but I clearly remembered that.."

Princess was lost for words. As for Lily, she began to tear up out of confusion and how she would plug everything into her brain.

"Is this why?"

"You're ignoring me?"

Liam just looked at her as he held her hand and said, "That day I clearly remembered that we agreed to do that."

"And it was breaking my heart thinking that maybe I did end up raping you, because your normal self wasn't present and wasn't the one who gave me permission to do what we'd done that night."
