Chapter 86: Chapter 86

Zamara POV

"No! Don't touch me! No, stop!" I heard Kiara scream so I quickly entered the room and saw her screaming.

I approached and held her. "Kia, it's me. Calm down, dear. I won't hurt you." I said.

"Don't come near me! Stop! D-don't touch me!" she continued to shout and threw the pillow at me, which I immediately grabbed it.

I couldn't do anything but inject her with sleeping pills. After a few minutes, I could feel her weight and weakness so I laid her down on her bed.

I looked to the side and saw Storm just staring at his sister, I also saw the wounds and scratches on his arm and neck. I know what is happening here is not easy for him, I am a witness to that matter. I can't help but feel sad about what's happening to them and I'm also impressed by Storm's stability, I know him because he's been a friend and classmate of my brother so I didn't think twice about agreeing to be Kiara's doctor.

It's been almost since Kiara's condition worsened, which at first I thought was just psychosis, but as time went on, she had other problems, she had more and more nightmares every night as if she was very scared and sometimes it was painful. I remember when Kiara watched a show on tv and I'm sure that's what triggered the bad memory she has until now I don't know what.

I told Storm about this matter but now I don't know how to tell him my suggestion, but that's what I know to help his sister.

"How is she?" Storm asked me.

"As of now, she's okay because I gave her a sedative. I need to talk to you Storm," I said and motioned for him to leave the room.

"What's going on Zam? I thought my sister was going to be okay but why is she getting worse and worse now? What did she see on the tv show that made her like this? Tell me, what is the true condition of Kiara?"

I sighed and looked at him seriously. "I told you that your sister has psychosis when we first talked and now because of her worsening condition and I found out that she has PTSD or post-traumatic stress disorder," I answered him.

"Y-you mean my sister had a trauma? But where? Who? I don't remember anything bad happening to her,"

"What she saw on tv triggered her to remember her bad experience that we still don't know. We can't suddenly force her to talk about it because I can see that it is very difficult for her.," I explained to him, and he almost became depressed because of what I said.

"I don't know what to say, I don't even know anything about my sister because she didn't inform me about that bad experience you are talking about,"

"Maybe she's not ready to go back or talk about that thing Storm, so she can't tell you. That's also why I want to talk to you deeply because I also have something important to tell you." I said.

"What is it?"

"I don't want to caress you Storm, but your sister needs to be confined," I speak directly.

"W-what? My sister is not crazy, Zam!" he shouted. I understand his reaction but he needs to understand that it is also for the better.

"I know, I'm not saying that Kiara is crazy. This matter is a serious Storm and she needs proper treatment. You don't have to worry because I'm with her and I'll be hands-on with her. As you can see, she is safe here in your house, she can hurt people, I know you get my point because he has hurt you too already. Think about the person you are with her and her child, we can't be sure that she won't do it again. This is the best thing we can do for now, Storm. Let's not let it lead to your sister's complete insanity." I said.

"I just can't," he said softly,

"I understand you Storm, I can't rush you on that matter but you need to decide as soon as possible. That's why I'm telling you this so you can be ready. Your sister can't just be here at your house. We can't either force her to talk about what happened to her because it might only hurt her more," I said. I saw his eyes closed tightly, knowing that his brain could not immediately absorb what I was saying. I know he is struggling and hurting now even if he doesn't say it or show it.

"I understand Zam, but I'm not ready yet. Give me a day to think." he stuttered softly.

I nodded. "I know it's hard for you Storm but I know you will choose what's best for Kiara," I said.

"C-can you stay here tonight Zam? I don't know what to do. Chase's Nanny isn't here now, so I'll take care of my nephew first,"

I smiled at him. "Of course, you and Kiara are my friends," I said.
