Chapter 87: Chapter 87
Storm POV
This is the day I decided for my sister, I agreed with Zam's suggestions. She needs proper treatment so she needs to be confined first. It's hard for me, but if that's what's good for her, I'll do it.
"Brother, where are we going?" I looked at the person next to me when she asked me.
"We just have a place to go with Doctor Zam," I answered her.
"Am I going to stay there for a long time? And are you coming with me also? I don't want to be left alone, brother,"
I smiled bitterly. " Y-yes, of course, I am," I said.
"S-sorry brother, I didn't mean to hurt you,"
"Don't blame yourself because it's not your fault, it was just an accident," I said. She leaned her head on my shoulder. I noticed that Zam was just looking at me sadly.
After an hour of travel, we arrived at the place where I would temporarily leave my sister, Zam left for a while to take care of Kiara's needs.
"Brother, why are we here? Who are we going to visit here?" I looked at my sister when she suddenly spoke. If only I could tell her directly that she will live here in the meantime, I would have done it earlier, but I didn't have the courage.
"We'll just wait for Zam to come back," I answered her briefly.
"Look at them brother." she pointed to another patient. "Maybe they're sad because they're just here and they're not even with their family, only a nurse,"
"They need to stay here because they need treatment," I said.
"Can't they just stay at home, can their family take care of them if they're sick?"
"Yes, but you know their condition, right? They need to be checked by doctors all the time." I explained.
"Are they crazy? Isn't that what they call them when they're in this place?"
"It's not because you're admitted to this place you're already crazy. They just need to heal or undergo therapy so they're here." I explained to her.
"If you ask me, I don't want this place, because I feel like I'm crazy." I could hear the sadness in her voice.
Later, Zam came to me with the two nurses. "Storm it's time. I've fixed what she needs." She informed me.
I looked at my sister and slowly knelt in front of her. "K-Kiara, please don't be mad about my decision. It's not easy for me to do this thing, but I want you to get better, I want your life to go back to normal. I-I'm sorry, please, forgive me If I will hurt you now. I want the best for you. Always remember that I love you so much and I will do everything for you." I said.
She looked at me as if she was wondering why I am saying such things. "W-what do you mean brother? Of course, I know how much you love me and I know that you won't leave me." She smiled at me.
I stood up and looked at Zam so she signaled the two nurses with her for Kiara to take.
"Who are you? Why are you holding me? Where are you taking me?" I heard my sister's voice who was asking them.
"Zam, take care of her. I trust you, I'll just visit here often." I said to her weakly.
"Don't worry Storm, I will never leave my side," she answered.
I was about to turn around suddenly when I felt someone hug me. "B-brother, where are you going? Aren't you going to take me with you?" Kiara asked me.
I looked at her. "Kiara, listen to me. Don't you trust your brother? You stay here with Zam because I'm going somewhere, I'll fetch you,"
"I don't want to, brother, I'll just go with you now. I promise I'll behave,"
I shook my head and then touched her cheek. "I'll be back, I'll come back to you, for you. I promise," I said and then hugged her tightly and then I nodded to Zam's companions so they came to our place and held Kiara.
I slowly let go of her and then turned back with tears in my eyes.
"Brother no! Don't leave me here brother..." My sister tried to struggle against those who were holding her but she couldn't get out.
"Brother, please,"
"D-don't leave me here,"
"I'm begging you, please, don't leave me, brother,"
"You said you won't leave me, come back to me,"
"You.. you promise,"
"Brother,"
I could clearly hear my sister's voice as she begged me to come back but I didn't look back at her because I am sure that if I did I might change my mind and take her home. Until I got out, I could still hear a voice screaming my name, I wanted to go back to her but I stopped myself because I knew this was what she needed, she would get better if she stayed here.
I just leaned on the side with tears in my eyes, I love my sister so much and I'm ready to do everything for her good. Later someone tapped me. "Are you okay?" Zam asked me.
I nodded. "Y-yes I am. How is she?" I ask.
"She has been taken to her room, my companions already know what to do with her so you have nothing to worry about,"
"It's hard, I thought it would be easy to leave her but earlier I felt like I wanted to go back and take her home," I said.
"I understand you Storm, anyone in your position will feel the same way. But you did a great job. I promise you that I will do everything to treat Kiara,"
I smiled at her. "Thank you, Zamara," I said.
"You're no different from me. You are my friend so I won't hesitate to help.,"
"I have to go now, my nephew might cry. Please take care of my sister, just call me if there's a problem." I said.
"No worries, I will update you from time to time,"
I nodded and then walked to my car. Before I boarded, I looked at the building. "I'm sorry Ki, but this is the best thing to do. I don't want you to suffer anymore. Even if it hurts, I'll bear it as long as you get better." I whispered and then went inside.
