Storm POV

I just got home and I immediately asked the maids where my sister was and they said she didn't come down after eating earlier. They didn't disturb her because she might be sleeping so I just thanked them and went upstairs.

I first thought of peeking at Kiara to see if she was awake when I entered her room, but I didn't see her. I called her name several times but she didn't answer. I looked at her bathroom, I don't know why I felt nervous. I slowly walked towards it but it was locked.

"Kiara are you there? Open this door." I said but I haven't heard an answer from her so I'm sure she was inside.

"Kiara I said to open this or else I will break it!" I said angrily but still, I haven't heard anything from her so I have no other choice but to destroy it. When I opened it, I saw her lying on the floor crying and holding a knife.

"What are you doing? Put that knife down!" I shouted at her.

"B-brother," she said weakly.

"Are you out of your mind Princess Kiara!" I said.

"I'm so tired," she said while crying.

"And this is your fucking solution? I didn't raise you just to ruin your life! Do you think I'm not tired? I've been there many times but never once did I think of what you're going to do!" I can't control my anger. She just kept crying, I don't know what her reason was.

I carried her out of the bathroom and made her sit on her bed. "Now talk,Kiara," I said seriously.

"I'm a messed up brother, I can't take it anymore," My lips parted because of what she said.

"Tell me the truth Kiara, what's your reason? Tell me and I'll try to understand." I asked her again.

"I-it's Nigel,"

"What about him? I already told you not to talk to him right?" I said.

"I went to his condo, but he just pushed me away. H-he despises me so much. H-he regrets meeting and loving me. It hurts so much,"

"Damn it! How many times have I told you not to go near him, right? Why are you so stubborn!" I shouted at her.

"I n-need to do it!"

"I can't believe you, Kiara! You're not stupid enough to be desperate! If he doesn't want you, let him! You deserve better!" I angrily shouted at her.

"B-but I have a reason, brother. I just tried to talk to him,"

"Fuck that reason of yours! How many times has he pushed you? Why don't you understand that he doesn't want you anymore?" I said I don't know if I can control my anger at this moment.

"I have to brother, b-because I'm fucking pregnant!"

I was stunned for a moment because of what my sister said. "Y-your what?" I asked again, maybe I misheard.

"I-am pregnant a-and he is the father. I am sorry,"

I almost fainted because of what my sister said, I didn't know what to say. I don't even know that she has a more serious reason why she becomes like this. "Does he know about this?" I asked her.

I saw her shake her head. "I tried telling it to him but he didn't want to talk to me so I-I couldn't tell him about the child because he didn't want to listen to me. I begged him several times but he shut the door on me,"

I clenched my fist because of the anger I feel for Nigel. Damn him for hurting my sister so much and I will make sure that he will never meet his own child. "Let him, that thing is not your fault Kiara, you and that child can survive without him," I seriously said.

"B-brother, please help me. Get me out of this place. Keep me away, please brother. I'll go crazy if I stay here any longer." she begged me so I hugged her tightly. I couldn't hold back the tears that wanted to come out. Will our suffering never end? First my parents, then me, and now my sister. Why do we need to suffer like this?

I knelt in front of my sister and held her face, it was wet with tears. "I will always be here for you Kiara, you're not alone in this fight, I'm with you. Promise me that you won't do what you planned to do earlier. Okay? That's not the solution to your problem. I will help you stand up again, let's raise the child even if he doesn't have a father, I can be the father of my nephew," I said to her.

"T-thank you brother and I-am sorry if I become a problem and a burden to you,"

"You have never been a problem to me Kiara and you will never be a burden because I am your brother. I will do everything for you, I'm willing to sacrifice everything just for your own sake." I said. "Be strong, okay? You're not alone anymore or you're living for someone. D-don't neglect yourself so that the baby can be healthy. I-i'm sure Mom and Dad will be happy because they're going to have a grandchild. " I added.

"I will brother, for you and my baby," she said smiling.

"You take a rest because it's late, I'll arrange everything we need so we can leave," I said.

She smiled at me and hugged me tightly. I will always be here for Kiara no matter what happens, I will not let her fight alone. If Nigel doesn't want to stand up for them, I don't care. I will make sure that he will regret everything he did to Kiara.
