Storm POV

I came home a while ago but I didn't see my sister. Where did she go? I went downstairs to go to the kitchen because I was going to drink water. I saw one of our maids who was cooking.

"Is Kiara already home?" I asked her and got some water from the fridge. and poured it into the glass.

"I think she's in her room, she came a while ago. Go talk to your sister and there might be a problem."

I frowned. "What do you mean?" I asked her.

"I've been noticing how quiet she's been for almost two weeks. She's also not eating, especially when you're not here. Haven't you noticed that she's losing weight?"

I was stunned for a moment because of what Nay Ana said. I had also noticed the strange behavior of my sister in the past. I thought she was just tired from work, but she doesn't come in and just locks herself in the house and when she leaves when she comes back, it's like she's not herself anymore.

"Alright, I'll go see her first," I said goodbye to her and went back upstairs.

I didn't even bother to knock when I got to her room, when I entered I saw her lying face down.

"Kiara," I called her name.

"Do you need anything, Brother?" she asked without even looking at me.

"We need to talk," I said.

"About what Brother? Is that important?"

"It's disrespectful if you are talking to someone when you are not facing that person you know," I said.

"I'm just not feeling well,"

I didn't believe what she said so I came to her bed and removed the blanket that was covering her, so I saw her eyes swollen from crying.

"Now tell me, why are you crying?" I asked her.

"I just don't feel good brother,"

"You think you can fool me? I'm not stupid Princess Kiara! So sit down and talk." I speak authoritatively.

She immediately followed what I said. "Should I repeat my question or will you answer on your own? Did you think I didn't notice your actions this past week? I'm just being quiet Kiara because I want you to tell me the problem yourself." I said seriously.

"I-I'm trying to be okay, brother, but I can't stop getting hurt."

"What's going on? Is it Nigel?" I asked.

I saw her slowly nodding. "I-I did something wrong to him when we broke up because I was drunk, didn't I? You knew about that thing and you told him too. Some people sent him photos but there is no truth about the others who were there, especially the one in the hotel, that's not me but he doesn't want to believe me. He's very mad at me and he doesn't want to listen to my explanation. B-but I accepted it to myself that I made a mistake, I did everything to talk to him, but in the two weeks of me trying, all I received from him was pain."

"What did he do to you?" I asked.

"B-brother,"

"Tell me, Kiara, what is Nigel doing?"

She didn't say a word and just started crying. "Don't answer me with a cry, Kiara." I'm running out of patience.

"H-he always pushes me away when I try to talk to him and then ...."

"What?" I said.

"I see him with a different woman that even when I'm around he doesn't interfere. H-he chooses someone more than me."

"That bastard!" I shouted angrily and then stood up.

"Where are you going brother?" she asked me and grabbed my arm.

"I need to talk to that jerk," I answered.

She shook her head several times. "N-no brother, please don't. I-I don't want you to fight because of me. Please, brother,"

"You think I'm just going to allow you to be hurt? No one else can hurt you, Kiara! I consider you a princess!" I yelled at her angrily.

"B-brother please, don't leave. I-I need you here more."

I removed her hold on my arm. "I will never forget what he did to you," I said and went out of her room.

I went into my room and took the car keys, I will not allow him to hurt my sister even though he is my best friend.

I was going down the stairs when Kiara stopped me. "Brother please stop,"

"Get out of my way Kiara," I said emphatically.

She shook her head a few times. "I-I won't allow you to leave, Brother, please! I'm the one begging you, just let it go,"

"Leave it to go? He's already hurting you and you want me to do nothing? That's bullshit Kiara! Get out of my way." I said, but because my sister is stubborn and she doesn't want to let me go, I have no choice but to push her.

"Brother!!" I heard her scream when I got into my car. I know she will follow me.

I didn't even notice that my sister was hurting. I don't even know the whole story of why they fought but he has no right to hurt Kiara. I thought he loved my sister. Why is he with another woman? I will never tolerate him even though he is my friend, especially since it is my sister who is aggrieved.

He can talk to Kiara because she will understand it. How can I trust him with my sister's life if he can hurt her just like this? How can he do this when they are engaged? If it's just like that, I won't agree anymore with it. Kiara is better off staying at home without getting married.
