Kiara POV

Two weeks have passed since Nigel and I had a fight. I have tried several times to visit him at the condo and his office but he won't face me. I have also seen him with different women several times. I have to admit that it hurts me a lot but I can't do anything about it.

And now I'm here in his office again and I'm going to try to talk to him, I just hope he doesn't push me away as he does to me sometimes. When I arrived at the Monteverde Company, I went straight to Nigel's office.

"Good morning Ma'am Kiara." His secretary greeted me with a smile.

"Good morning. I just wanted to ask if your boss is here?" I asked him.

He scratched his head. "Sir left a while ago and still hasn't come back," he answered me.

"Is that so? He has a meeting?" I asked.

"I know he doesn't have a schedule today, but he left with someone earlier,"

I felt a pain in my chest again. What else is new? Ever since we had a misunderstanding, he has been like that.

"Are you okay Ma'am?" he's the worried question.

I smiled at him. "I'm fine. Alright, I'm leaving." I said goodbye to him and walked away because I didn't mean anything.

I didn't know where to find him so I just decided to go to the mall. For two weeks, I hardly slept properly and I didn't even have an appetite for food, but I didn't let my brother know about it because he might wonder, he didn't want to let him know what was happening with his friend.

To be honest, sometimes I want to give up, but what my brother said to me always comes to my mind, and of course what Nigel and I spent together, I know that he loves me and he's just angry that's why he's like that with me now and when I become okay we know if he will go back to before.

When I got to the mall, I immediately got out of the taxi. After all, I didn't bring my car because I was too lazy to drive. I just walked around inside and looked around to see a familiar man who caught my eye, I couldn't make a mistake knowing that it was him.

I was about to walk closer to him when I suddenly saw a woman approaching him, it seems that this is what his secretary who was with him said. I can see the joy on Nigel's face and I can't help but feel jealous. Another woman is with him again, everyday is like this.

They entered a Cafe so I followed them, needing to talk to Nigel even if he was with someone. I waited for them to order before approaching the place where they were sitting.

"Nigel," I called his name.

"What are you doing here Kiara?" he asked me, I couldn't even see any emotion on his face.

"I just want to talk to you," I said.

"How many times have I told you that we don't have anything to talk about? It's been two weeks, haven't you gotten tired yet?" There was a trace of annoyance in his voice.

"Who is she, baby?" asked the woman with him.

"B-baby?" I said in shock and looked at Nigel.

"Yes, do you have a problem with that?" female sexual intercourse.

"He's my friend's sister," Nigel answered the woman. I was almost speechless because of what he said.

"Oh I see." the person in front of her smiled.

"Wait a minute, I'll just talk to her," Nigel said and got up so I followed him, and we left the Cafe.

"Can you explain to me what's going on Nigel? Who's that woman?" I asked him.

"It's none of your business, Kiara."

I could hardly believe what he said. "Nig? What's going on with you? I don't know you anymore, you've been with almost a different woman every day." I said.

"You changed me, Kiara," he answered briefly.

"Is that why you don't want to see me because of this? I know I made a mistake against you but why are you hurting me like this?" I said weakly.

"You're the only one making a thing that can hurt you, Kiara, how many times have I told you that you won't get anything from me because I don't want it anymore? We're done."

"Is that all? You're just going to throw away everything we shared? W-why did you give up on me so quickly?" I couldn't hold back my tears.

"Don't make me think it's my fault why we ended up in this situation Kiara because you ruined everything between the two of us."

"I am doing everything for you but why can't you even listen to me?" I reluctantly promise.

"I hope you also thought about how I would feel when you did that thing. Do you think you are the only one who is hurting here? You don't know how I was ruined when I saw the photos. Don't play the victim in the circumstances that you made."

I laughed out loud. "Do you think I'm making myself a victim here Nigel? I just want to talk to you properly, I just want to explain my side but you're so closed-minded. I'm not saying that I'm the only one who's hurting here because I know you are too, but it's too much I think you're retaliating against me now. You're not hurting me physically, but you're crushing me finely with your actions. You're not hurting me physically but emotionally."

I saw her take one breath after another, she was holding back but I still didn't see any emotion in him. "If I were you Kiara would stop already. As you can see I'm living my life now without you and I hope you are too. It's hard to fix a broken trust, it's like fixing a broken glass no matter what you try to fix it, it will never go back to the way it was before."

"Don't you love me anymore?" I asked him weakly.

I saw him bend down and clench his fist, later he looked into my eyes seriously. "I- I don't love you anymore, Kiara." When he said that, he turned his back on me and went back to his companion.

I could hardly move from where I was standing because of what he said, I felt like I was slowly being crushed by the words he said.
