Storm POV

For several days, I noticed that my sister was quiet, sometimes she was even staring into nothingness. I feel that she is carrying a problem. She's been leaving the house for a few days but when she comes home she seems like she's not herself. And now I just got home from the office, I asked the maid if Kiara was here and they said she was in the pool area. I immediately walked there to see her and saw her sitting quietly in the swimming pool with her feet in the water.

"Are you okay?" I asked her when I got close.

She immediately looked at me and smiled. "You're here brother, how's your work?" she changes the conversation, and that's when I know she has a problem.

"It's fine, there's a lot to do in the office but everything's okay. How about you? How's work going?" I asked her too.

"Besides that I'm beautiful, everything is fine."

"You're crazy," I said and sat next to her. Silence prevailed between the two of us.

"Eh? It's true what I'm telling you, I'm an inheritance from Mom."

I couldn't help but laugh because of what she said, she sympathized with our mother again.

"Is there a problem?" I asked.

She looked at me. "No, what else will I have trouble with in my life," she answered.

"How are you and Nigel?" I asked again and she suddenly looked away.

"W-we're fine," she spoke weakly.

"Seems like I'm seeing something different from what you're saying. So spill it now." I said.

She sighed. "We just have a misunderstanding, brother,"

"Are you sure?" I assured her and she nodded.

"Misunderstanding is inevitable in a relationship, the important thing is that you both fix it. Remember that you must always make decisions and resolve whatever misunderstandings you have." I said to her,

"I know brother, don't worry about it. I already know that. I'm just letting his head cool down before talking to him again."

"That's good to hear. I know my friend loves you so I have a lot of trust in him that he won't hurt you." I said.

"Brother, can I ask something?" I looked at her.

"What is it?" I asked.

"What if Bea did something wrong to you, would you still forgive her?"

"Depends on what she did and her reason, of course. I first need to find out her side of why she did that thing. Sometimes we also need an explanation before deciding something." I answered her.

"But you won't get mad right away?"

"Of course, we're going to be mad first, it's natural for a person to feel angry especially if one of the important people in their life did something bad to them. That person's feelings are valid because the first thing to feel is pain." I promise.

"Kiara, always thinks that it's natural for someone to be angry, especially if they've been hurt by someone important to them. But don't think that because you made a mistake with that person, you're bad, especially if you have a reason. Sometimes we don't realize that we can do something or make a decision that hurts the person we love, but what is more important? The lesson you will get from that matter is that it is okay to commit mistakes because we are human and there is no one perfect in the world. The only important thing is how we learn from that mistake, how we humble ourselves and ask for forgiveness from the person we hurt. You should accept that you made a mistake and you need to apologize." I added.

"What if he doesn't accept your apology? What if he can't forgive you?"

I sighed. "If you know you are at fault, apologize without asking for anything in return. It's not because you said sorry that you should be forgiven right away. It still depends on the pain you caused someone. Only time can heal. wounds. First, let that person heal the wound you caused. It's up to that person whether he forgives you or not but I believe that we all forgive even if you can't tell it to you but they know in their hearts if they've been forgiven it's you." I said.

"If you love that person and he is important to you, don't give up easily. The anger disappears, the wound will heal but the love remains with us. I know that you are a brave woman Kiara, no matter what you and Nigel have been through know if you can overcome it." I added.

She smiled at me and hugged me so I hugged her back. Even though my sister is no longer young, I know that she still needs me often, she needs someone to guide her, she needs someone who can understand her and someone who will accept her not only in good times but also in her dark moments.

"Thank you so much, Brother," she whispered.

"I will always understand you, Kiara. When you have a problem, when you need someone to talk to, you can come to me anytime. Okay? Kuya will always be here for you." I promise

We stayed there for a few minutes before I invited her to come inside because it was too late and cold, and she might have gotten sick.

When I got inside, I immediately went straight to my room to take a shower, because I hadn't gotten dressed yet I went straight to my sister when I got home.

I know she is going through something based on what she asks me, but I know my sister can overcome that thing. She's like our mom who doesn't leave any problems behind. I just hope she gets better because I can't bear to see my sister sad, I prefer to see her smile.
