Beatrice POV

A few days have passed since everything happened and I have returned to work as Storm's secretary but until now he still hasn't talked to me, maybe he is mad at me because of what I did. While Kiara is slowly getting better, Nigel often takes care of her.

I don't know how I can work with Storm now because of what happened, we didn't break up but I'm just like the wind in his eyes.

"Haler girl, are you okay?" I heard a voice to see it was Nicole because we were currently eating lunch.

I nodded. "I'm fine, just thinking about something," I answered her.

"Has our boss still not talked to you? It's been almost a week, you know, girl, you need to make ways to tame the beast.

I held my breath. "I don't know what to do either," I said.

"Give him a child, so your problem is over!"

I immediately hit her. "You don't need to give me crazy suggestions," I promise.

She just laughed at me. "You can talk to him, you're the only one making it difficult for yourself."

"I'm nervous because it might not turn out well. It's like you don't know the behavior of our boss." I said.

"Wow! He is not only your boss but also your boyfriend. It's only natural that he'd be angry because of what happened. Add to that that his sister almost died,"

"Fine! I'll talk to him later," I said and continued to eat.

When I finished what I was eating, we immediately went back to our table. I bought something to eat for Storm first. I just hope that man doesn't scold me.

When I went upstairs, I immediately went straight to his office, I didn't knock and just entered. I caught him seriously typing on his laptop with a frown on his face. I still can't help but be impressed by him, he's handsome from any angle. He took a picture of his father's face even though I only saw it in the picture.

"If you don't need anything, go out, don't stare at me while I'm working." I was startled when I heard his voice, he wasn't looking at me and was still doing what he was doing.

I made it difficult for him, even though the man was very antipathetic. I don't know why I loved him.

"Don't roll your eyes at me woman and I might snatch it. Stop what you're thinking about me in your mind," he added.

"I do not know." He didn't even let me finish what I was going to say.

"You're getting on my nerves, Alcantara! I'm about to slap you." I said annoyed.

"I said what do you want?"

I snorted and walked closer to him. "I bought you food, I know you haven't eaten yet," I said.

"I'm not hungry and I didn't ask you to buy me one."

"Can you stop being so mean to me and just eat?" I said.

He stopped what he was doing and looked at me seriously, which made me even more nervous when he was like this. I felt like he was waiting for me to say something.

"Fine, I'm sorry for what happened," I said.

"Why do you still seem angry? Is that how you apologize now?"

"I'm sorry, I know what I did was wrong, leaving without saying goodbye. I made a decision right away without even thinking about it." I said.

"Why didn't you tell me about it?"

"I-I know that you won't agree to my decision if you find out and then I don't want you and your sister to have a misunderstanding because she only cares about you," I said.

"Didn't we have a misunderstanding? That's why she was in the hospital, right? That's why my sister almost died!"

"S-sorry, Kaye told me that too, I didn't believe it at first because I thought she was just making up a story, but when I heard it from Kiara myself, I believed it," I said.

"Because of your wrong decision, look at what happened. I know that you are innocent, but I can't help but think that you don't trust me. If you had told me that thing, it wouldn't have come to that. You weren't kidnapped, Kiara and I didn't fight and she wasn't in the hospital fighting for her life, you know she's the only family I have Bea and if something bad happens to her I'll be devastated. I hope you thought about that!" he raised his voice, it was obvious that he was just holding back his anger.

"I admit that my decision was wrong because I didn't know that it would happen. I was aware that your ex was kind of crazy. I thought everything was okay with you, it turned out that she was just pretending because she has other plans. But you shouldn't blame Kiara because she's just a victim too," I said.

"That's right! My sister is a victim, but I don't know anything about it. Because if I had known that I could talk to her, she wouldn't have lied to me."

"I'm sorry baby, don't be mad at me. I won't do it again." I said with a snort and then hugged him.

"It really shouldn't happen again Bea because I don't know if I can handle it anymore. You must be careful now because Kaye hasn't been caught yet."

"I'm sure she's hiding before making a new plan," I said.

He nodded. "That's why we can't be complacent because we don't know what she can do yet. She already managed to hurt Kiara who she almost considers a sister, so we know she won't think twice about hurting you too."

After we talked, he ate.
