Storm POV

It's been two days since everything happened and until now my sister hasn't woken up, but the doctor said that her condition is stable and she has been moved to a private room. I didn't go to the office because I wanted to be by her side in case she woke up. Nigel just left because he has a meeting to go to, but he will also come back here later. As for Bea, I rested first.

I just sat on the side of Kiara's bed while holding her hand. Until now, I still blame myself for why she is now lying in this hospital bed, I feel like I have been a bad brother.

"Ki, please wake up now. I'm here, waiting for you. I'm sorry if I couldn't save you, but I... you saved me and I'm so proud of you. You are so brave to do that,"

"Wake up, you already rest too much. There are many of us waiting for you." I added I couldn't help but cry because of seeing my sister's condition. She had a lot of apparatus attached to her and she also had a lot of bruises.

"I miss you, Ki, I miss your voice, I miss your laugh. I miss everything about you," I just kept talking to her until I didn't realize that I fell asleep. I just woke up when I felt someone caressing my hair and I looked to see Kiara awake.

"You're awake! Are you okay? Does something hurt you?" I asked her one after another, but she didn't answer and just stared at me, so I called a doctor. They acted quickly and then looked at my sister. They didn't take long and said goodbye to leave after making sure she was okay.

"Ki, do you want to eat?" I asked her.

"I'm sorry brother." My lips parted because of what she said. Until now, that's what she's talking about.

"I should be the one who is apologizing here Kiara, I was a careless brother. I'm sorry if I take long to save you," I said to her "Y-you don't need to apologize, I was the one who should say sorry to you,"

"Please, don't do that again Kiara. I will lose my mind if something bad happens to you." I said.

"Brother, if it ever happens again, I will still choose to save you, because... you're my brother,"

I held her hand tightly. "I  can't bear to lose you, Kiara, so please, be careful always. And don't do something I don't know, just like you did. Your life was almost in danger. You should have told me ." I said.

"I tried, brother, but you are not answering my calls, so I thought that I would find a way to find her because I was the one to blame for what happened. I've been a coward and followed what Kaye wants,"

I clenched my other hand when she mentioned that woman's name. I will make sure that she will pay for what she did. I'll put her in jail by the time the police find her.

"I'm sorry for what I have done if I yelled at you. I know I shouldn't have done that thing. I hope I didn't let my emotions prevail and let you explain. I know you can't do the thing for no reason, I'm just so stressed that I don't know what to think." I said.

"Your reason is valid brother, you're only human and have feelings. I know you're hurting by thinking that Bea left you and you're even more hurt when you find out that I'm the reason for it. But I didn't betray you, I can't do that to you because of your brother. I'm one of those who will stay by your side even if everyone abandons you,"

"I know, I was hurt and I even laid a hand on you. If Mom and Dad were here, they would be mad at me or maybe kick me out," I laughed.

"I love you Brother, thank you for coming to save us," she said smiling.

"And I will always love you, Kiara, I will not hesitate to save you always. Thank you also for sacrificing and saving me." I said.

I saw her tears so I quickly wiped them away. "Get well soon," I said and she nodded.

Later, the door opened and Nigel spat out because I called him and informed him that Kiara was awake, he has the right to know that because he is the fiance. I went out first to let them talk and also to call Bea, knowing if she was worried about Kiara.

Kiara POV

When Kuya got out, Nigel sat on the side of my bed. "How are you?" he asked.

"I'm fine, my body just hurts a little," I answered him.

"Don't ever do that again Kiara, you'll kill me with fear," he said emphatically.

I held his hand to calm him down. "I'm sorry for what I have done, I know the decision I made was wrong," I said.

"What if this isn't the only thing that happened to you, huh? I hope you thought about how your brother and I would feel about what you did. Please, next time learn to say everything to me. You know I almost got crazy when I can't contact you and also not see you in my condo but I'm just thinking that you might go home and then I'll find out from Storm that you're not there.."

"I will never do that again, I promise. I won't be keeping secrets from you anymore." I calmly promised.

"I will never forgive myself if something bad happens to you",

"H-how about  Kaye? Has she been caught?" I ask.

I sighed and shook my head. "Until now the police are still looking for her so you should still be careful. Especially now that she can hurt you even if you are Storm's sister,"

I suddenly calmed down because of what he said, maybe Kaye wasn't there that day so she wasn't caught right away. If that's the case, Bea's life is still in danger, what else can that woman think of doing?
