Nigel POV

After talking to the police, I immediately went straight to the hospital where Kiara was taken. I wanted to go with them but I couldn't just let what happened especially since my friend was not in the right state earlier.

When I arrived, I found Bea just sitting across from the emergency room. I asked her where Storm was but later I saw him walking towards us.

"Is there any news?" he asked Bea.

She shook her head. "Not one of the doctors inside has come out yet, so we don't know Kia's condition until now,"

He turned to me. "How is it? Any news?" His eyes were red, obviously just from crying.

"Almost everyone in that place died and only two survived," I said.

"Make sure they can't get out of jail. Did they speak? Did they say who ordered them?"

I took a deep breath before nodding. I don't know how my friend will react when he finds out who is behind this incident.

"Who is Nigel? Tell me," he said emphatically.

"It's K-Kaye." I almost stuttered.

"Is it true?" he assured and asked Bea.

"W-what Nigel said is true, she is the one who kidnapped me. I don't know how Kiara got there, maybe she followed her. I-I thought she wouldn't be able to hurt Kiara but I was wrong. S-he ordered your sister to talk to me and pushed me away, I don't know what she told Kiara to do but I only know one thing, your sister only did that to protect us,"

"Bullshit!" I stood up to calm him down as he punched the wall.

"Is she crazy? I thought we are already okay and we already settled what we have in the past, but how can she do this? My sister sacrifices her own life to save me! My sister is now in danger because of that bitch!" he shouted angrily.

"Calm down, that won't help the situation now." I calmly said.

"Where's that bitch? Did she get caught?" he asked.

I shook my head. "She is not in that area and the police have also tried to go to her friend's condo where she stays but she is not there, she seems to have run away," I explained.

"Damn it! Informed the police that they need to do everything to find that woman. I'm willing to pay any price just to catch her." he ordered seriously.

"I have spoken to the police and they will do everything to catch her. I also will not allow her to get away after what she did to Kiara." I said. "The best thing to do now is to treat your wound first, you might run out of blood later," I added.

"I'm telling him how many times but he won't listen." Bea's groin.

"I can take care of myself, I will only be more relieved when I hear that my sister is safe," Storm replied.

"How are you, Bea?" I asked her.

"I'm fine, my body just hurts a little," she answered.

"It's a good thing that she didn't hurt you too much. Surprisingly, she can do that, especially to Kiara." I said seriously.

" I was also shocked when I saw her when I was the only one there, I found out that she kidnapped me,"

"That woman is crazy, she needs help," I said.

"She will regret that she hurt my sister, she can hide forever," Storm said seriously.

"Bea, the best thing is that you go with Storm to clean and treat his wound. I'll take care of keeping an eye on it and I'll just call you when there's news." I ordered him and she immediately nodded. Fortunately, Storm didn't complain anymore.

I've been walking back and forth since the doctor hasn't come out yet, I can't breathe easily until I know her condition.

"Son, how is Kiara?" I saw my mom.

"She's still inside Mom, I still don't know what's going on," I answered her.

"Where is Storm?" my Dad asked.

"He just left, Bea went with him to treat his wound. He was also hit by a bullet." I said.

Mommy Calliyah hugged me tightly and I couldn't stop crying. I've been holding myself back because I don't want to be weak in front of my friend. "Hush now son, everything will be okay. Kiara is a strong woman like her mom, your aunt Jewel." She comforted me. While my father is quiet, I know he is thinking.

"Who did this?" he asked seriously so I let go of Mom's embrace.

"K-Kaye," I said emphatically.

He frowned. "Kaye? Ex-girlfriend of Storm?"

"Yes, Dad." my answer.

"I didn't think she could do that thing, especially with Kiara who is almost her sister considering the times she and Storm were together," Mommy said angrily.

"Even I can't believe it because she's kind, we've been with her for a long time so I can't imagine that she would do something like this," I said.

"How did this all happen?" Dad asked.

"What I do know is that Kaye kidnapped Bea because she was mad at her, she thinks that Bea is an obstacle so she can't get Storm back. I still don't know what really happened and why Kiara ended up there too." I explained.

Dad shook his head. "Love does something different, it can make you a bad person,"

"What's the news about that woman? Has she been caught? She needs to go to jail for what she did to your fiance." Mommy said.

I held my breath. "Until now the police are still looking for her because she is not in the place where we found Kiara," I said.

"It is necessary to find her as soon as possible, maybe this is not all she can do," Mom said.

I didn't say anything and just sat down again. I hope Kiara is safe.
