Chapter 35: Chapter 35

Beatrice POV

I just came back to my table because Storm and I left earlier to eat lunch outside. I don't understand that man because I told him last night that I would just cook but he didn't agree with it.

Sometimes I tease him that maybe he doesn't want to eat the food I prepared, but he said that he just doesn't want me too tired because he knows that I'm already doing a lot here in the office.

Until now I still can't fully imagine what good thing I did that God gave me a man who I will cherish and that is Storm, I never thought he had these sides. I just didn't know his true attitude when we first met.

"Excuse me?" I stopped in my thoughts when suddenly someone spoke at my side.

"Hello, good afternoon." I greeted her.

"Is Storm here? I brought him some food,"

"Yes, he's already there because we just came back from lunch," I promised, smiling even though I wanted to raise my brows at her.

This woman doesn't get tired, she's almost always here in Storm's office. Annoying!

"Can I go inside?"

"I'm sorry Ms. Kaye, you can't come in because Sir is not available at this time,  you can just leave it here and I'll give it to him later," I said.

"Why would I? How can I be sure that you will give it to him?"

I saw her struggle. "I'm not going to take that because it's not mine. I don't take something that I don't own," I emphasized the word I said.

She laughed a little. "Oh really? Why do you claim Storm when you know someone else owns him?"

"As far as I know, he was single at the time and no one owned him, so I'm sure I wasn't taking anything. What about you? Why are you still forcing yourself on someone who is already taken?" I mocked her.

I saw how her face changed. "And who are you to tell me such a thing? You know nothing about what Storm and I have shared,"

"Oh trust me ma'am I know everything. I know that you left and hurt him," I said.

"How dare you! You don't know my reason. I can't imagine why Storm likes you or maybe he doesn't really  love you and you're the only one there when she needed someone, you could also be one of his pastimes or you are also the one who warms up his night, the so-called partisan because we know that he also became a womanizer when we broke up,"

"Don't worry because I'm sure I'm not one of his girls or his fling. Because if I was, his sister, his aunts, and uncles wouldn't know me. And one more thing, he also introduced me to his parents when we went to the cemetery. And if you're saying that I'm a wayward person? Don't worry because I satisfy him every night, sometimes we almost don't sleep because of what we're doing the whole time or night, you know Storm is really good on the bed, he's like a beast who is aggressive and goes wild, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot of woman chasing him." I said smiling.

I can see the parting of her lips and it's obvious that she's mad now. If she thinks I'll allow her to disrespect me or insult me then she is wrong thinking that way.

"You think that assurance? Don't make me laugh because we have done that many times at their house or even in his condo around the corner, we have memories. You don't know how I satisfied him in every position we made. I know that you only want money from Storm, but I'm not surprised about it, he's hella rich. He has everything and don't you think that he deserves better than you? You didn't come from a wealthy family,"

I laughed. "Aren't you aware that his condo is new now? He sold the old one a long time ago because of bad memories. You know you're the funny one because you're chasing after the man who no longer loves you. I'm not ashamed if I'm poor because I am proud of it. But you know what's more embarrassing? It's someone like you who  is rich and educated but didn't teach proper behavior." I promise seriously.

"I just adapt my behavior to who I'm talking to. If I were you, think about it because you and Storm won't last long either, he'll also realize that he won't settle for someone who's not at your level. He'll come back to me because I was the first one he loved,"

"Go on, if you can. I won't leave Storm just because of other people's wishes. And if the day comes when he leaves me, that thing won't be a problem for you anymore, what's more important to me now is him. I won't do what you did to him! You said you were his first love but you ruined the relationship you two have. So that means you're just part of his past but you're not the end." I said emphatically.

"You're so full of yourself. If I were you leave him because you are not the one for him,"

"It's not my fault if you let him go. I will only leave his life if he says it himself, so even if you die there in anger, I don't care." I gave her a teasing smile.

"You will pay for it! I will make sure he comes back to me,"

"Go on, desperate woman!" I said.

"You bitch!" I couldn't move when he suddenly slapped me so I slapped her back too, I won't allow anyone to lay their hands on me.

"What's going on here?" I Storm standing at the door of his office. I didn't even notice that he came out of his office, maybe because of the loudness of our voices.
