Chapter 36: Chapter 36

Storm POV

I was arranging the papers that I had signed so that I would know what else was missing when I heard voices outside. Bea and I just got back because we had lunch outside.

At first, I didn't pay attention because Bea might just be talking to someone but when I recognized a voice I was surprised. What is she doing here again?

I put down the document I was holding and immediately stood up to see what was happening outside, maybe later those two would fight here. When I opened the door, I saw the two of them talking to each other and it was obvious that they hadn't noticed me yet.

My head got hot when I saw Kaye slapped Bea but she slapped her back. "What's going on here?" I spoke and they immediately looked at me.

Kaye approached me while holding her cheek. "Look at the behavior of your secretary Storm, I only asked if you were here because I was going to give you something and then she insulted me, she even slapped me. You must fire that woman!"

I looked at Bea but she remained silent. "She is not only my secretary Kaye, but she is also my girlfriend. Anyway, why are you here? It's working hours and I don't accept visitors especially if they don't have an appointment with me. I have a lot of work to do and I don't have time to talk to other people ." I said.

"I went to see my friend who is near here, so I thought I stop by and bring you lunch,"

"I told her that you don't accept visitors because you are busy and if she needs anything, she should just tell me, she told me that she brought you some food and I said she should just leave it to me and I will give it to you later, but I think she didn't understand it and forcing herself to go inside. And when I told her that she can't, that's the time she kept insulting me," Bea explained.

"Liar! You were the first to say something to me. You should respect me as a visitor in this company." Kaye snorted at her.

"Why would I? You're the first rude person out there who thinks I'll respect you after what you said. If you do that to others, well not to me," Bea answered.

"Stop it both of you! You are in my company so don't make a scene here. And also for you Kaye, thank you for the food but Bea and I have finished eating. And don't be mad with her because she is only doing what I am saying," I said.

"Aren't you going to do nothing Storm? She slaps me! Is that the kind of woman you like?" Kaye said.

"You slapped her first Kaye and I saw it with my own two eyes. And I know what you said to her earlier because I was here and you two seemed busy so you didn't even notice me." I said emphatically.

"I can't believe you, Storm! I didn't know that you're tolerating that kind of behavior here in the company because she is your girlfriend,"

"I am not tolerating anyone here Kaye. And you know that  I am not that kind of person, especially with my employees. You are the one who started everything, just accept it. And even if she is my girlfriend, I don't take sides if she's wrong but not. We are a couple outside of this company but when we are here in the office she is my secretary," I said seriously.

"Stop lying and making excuses because you won't get anything. My boss isn't stupid enough to believe you," Bea said.

"I'm not talking to you bitch," Kaye shouted at her.

"The question is, does he want to talk to you? Can't you understand that he's doing a lot of work? And you're here disturbing him. You're so stupid." Bea said.

"How dare you!" Kaye said annoyed.

"That's enough Kaye, if you don't need anything you can leave because I'm busy," I said.

Fortunately, Kaye listened and didn't complain anymore. I know if she's angry because we've been together for a long time, I already know her behavior.

When she left, I turned to look at Bea. "What?" she asked.

"Go to my office and bring me coffee," I said and went back inside.

I was stunned when I sat down, I didn't know what to do with Kaye. She's been here several times but I often don't face her because I know she'll just say the same thing over and over again no matter how many times I tell her that I already understand her reason. After all, it's been a long time and I've already moved on but she is persistent in doing everything.

I still love her but just as a friend because we've been in a relationship for a long time and it's not a joke, but what she wants to happen is I'll accept and love her again and that's not gonna happen because Bea is the one I love, I'll accept her as a friend and that's it that's all I can give her.

Kaye is kind, but she's also really aggressive sometimes, and maybe because it's been a while since we last met, I can't say if anything has changed in her or not. Maybe it is because we are both mature. She just didn't think that Bea would fight her and I don't want to get into trouble and what else the employees might say, I don't want to have an issue, especially when inside the company.
