Kaye POV

I almost fainted because I heard what the person I love said to me, I never thought that this would be the person who would greet me when we meet again. I know he hates me but I don't think he can say that to me because I know how much he appreciated and loved me before.

"A-are you joking right?" I asked him in disbelief.

"Do I look like I'm joking? Just leave!" I admit that I'm hurt by what he says. This is not the Storm I loved because he can't say those words to me.

I took a deep breath. "Is this what you want in return for me? Storm, I know you're just mad at me. We've been in a relationship for how many years, are you just going to let it go?" I said.

I saw his jaw clench. "Are you sure that you're saying that to me? You are the one who ruined our relationship and not me. Better leave now,"

"No, I won't leave until we can talk properly Storm, I won't allow my sacrifices to go to nothing. I know you still love me and you're just mad at me. I'm ready to do everything until you forgive me," I grabbed his hand but he just shook it off.

"Don't touch me! You have no right to touch me! If you don't leave now I might call the guards to escort you out of my company!"

I was shaken by what I heard. "You can't do that to me,"

"Try me then,"

"What happened to you, Storm? Why are you like this to me now? It seems like before you could hardly yell at me but now when you talk to me it's like you don't know me anymore," I promise.

"Everything in this world changes Kaye even people. And if you think that after you explain to me that we will get along then you are wrong. We will never get back together because I don't love you anymore. So leave now!"

"Storm, please give me a chance to correct the wrong I did,"  I'm begging him.

I saw him shake his head. "You, being part of my life is over because you ended it a long time ago. My life is fine and I will not allow it to be ruined again. It's okay for me to hear your reason but don't expect me to come back to you because it won't happen,"

"Storm, I'm willing to do everything. We can go back to our old times, we can add more happy memories if you want. Just please accept me again in your life. I can't lose you, " I said crying.

"You've been able to do it, haven't you? You've been gone for long years and now you say you can't? Don't fool me! Leave as long as I still respect what we shared,"

"Storm p-----."

"Stop! Get out!"

I almost cried because of the loudness of his yelling at me, I could feel the extreme anger that I had never seen in him before we were together.

I heard the door open and her secretary came in.

"Bea, can you escort her? Because we're done talking." I heard Storm's command to the woman.

She came to me to support me but I waved her hand away. "I can manage my own, don't touch me," I promised and walked out the door.

Beatrice POV

I quickly entered Storm's office because I heard her angry voice. When I entered, I saw that his fist was clenched, which was holding back. I'd only seen him like this in the year we'd been together.

I looked at the crying woman, I couldn't help but feel sorry for her because of her current condition.

When the woman left, I immediately approached Storm who was still mad. "Baby calm down," I said calmly and motioned him to sit on the sofa.

I also got some water and gave it to him to calm him down. I don't know what that woman did to make her so angry. I let him calm down first and didn't ask any more questions. I held his hand which was still clenched to this day.

After a few minutes he just quietly leaned on me. "Are you okay?" I asked him.

"I'm fine baby," he answered briefly.

"I already told you how many times to control your emotions right? I know your patience is short but baby you shouldn't have yelled at that woman." I said.

"She deserves it, I told her to leave but she doesn't want to listen,"

"She's your ex right?" I asked him.

"Yes,"

"She's back. What does she need?" I ask.

"I just found out that she is back. She told me the reason why she left before and that she still loves me now."

"Is her reason valid?" I asked again.

"Their company had a problem so she had to leave, but that's a valid reason for her to just leave me. She can tell me about her problem because I can help and if she doesn't want to, she can talk to me and explain what is really happening. I will understand the situation and allow her to go, not that she will leave without a word,"

"So what's your plan now?" I asked him.

He looked at me. "Why are you asking me that? I have no plans,"

"What I mean is she came back for you and she still loves you," I said.

"So what if she came back? I don't care. I heard her explanation but it will not change anything, maybe I can forgive her at the right time but whatever we have is over and I have no plans to accept her anymore. I already have you Bea and I have no plans to leave you just for another woman,"

"I just thought that if she hadn't left, I'm sure you would still be together. Maybe she did something wrong to you, but you know that you two have been together for a long time, if we didn't meet and she came back, there would be a chance for the both of you to fix your relationship," I said

"Whether I met you or not, nothing will change even if she comes back. I have moved on. Yes, she became part of my life but it's all in the past now, you are my present now. So don't think too much. I don't love her anymore,"

I just smiled at him, not because I wanted them to get back together but because I know how much Storm was hurt when they broke up and I thought that maybe if I wasn't in their lives, they would still have hope to get back together. But I don't want to lead Storm in his feelings and just like I promised him that I won't leave him and I will always be there by his side as long as he needs me.
