Beatrice POV

I'm busy arranging Storm's meeting schedule because I didn't finish it yesterday. It's not because he's my boyfriend I'll take advantage of and not do my work properly. I will never forget that I started here and I will never get tired of being thankful because if I hadn't worked here I wouldn't have Storm today.

"Excuse me, Miss?" I looked at someone who suddenly spoke to my side, she was beautiful and sexy.

I stood up. "Good morning Ma'am, I'm sorry I didn't notice you," I said politely.

"It's okay. I was just going to ask if Storm is here now?"

"Ah, y-yes. Do you have an appointment with him?" I asked.

"Actually no, he didn't know I had arrived."

I was surprised by what she said. "I'm sorry ma'am because my boss told me that he won't accept any visitors today if he doesn't have an appointment with him," I said.

"Oh I forgot, it looks like you're new here so you don't know me. He knows me, please tell him that Kaye is here,"

I was silent for a moment and stared at the woman in front of me, I couldn't be wrong, she was Storm's ex-girlfriend. "Miss?" I was brought back to my senses when she spoke again.

"S-sorry Miss, wait a minute I just need to call him first." I saw her nod, then if Storm spoke I immediately looked at her.

"Ma'am, you can come in," I said.

She smiled mischievously. "See, I told you he knows me, so I don't need an appointment,"

When the woman entered Storm's office I couldn't help but be impatient. I'm just doing my job and Storm doesn't seem to know she's coming because my boss doesn't mention anything. Psh!

I thought that woman was nice but it seems her attitude is bad! I take back what I said earlier that she's beautiful and sexy because even if it's true, she looks like a bitch.

Storm POV

My office door opened and I didn't even bother to check who entered because Bea had already told me.

"Hi Storm," she greeted me with a smile.

I arranged the papers I had signed before looking at her. "So you're back now. What do you need?" I ask seriously.

"Aren't you happy I'm back? Storm I'm back,"

"And so? Do I have to be happy? Do you want me to have a party? What if you come back?" I said.

The smile on her lips disappeared because of what I said, knowing that she didn't expect that. "Are you serious about what you're saying?" she exclaimed almost in disbelief.

"Do I look like I'm joking Kaye? So I'm asking you what you need. I'm a busy person and I do a lot so I don't have time to just talk to anyone." I speak directly.

"You're impossible! I'm here in front of you again Storm,"

I looked at her seriously. "Who told you to come back? You know what? I don't care if you come back or not." I said.

"Storm, please hear me out. I know you're mad at me for leaving without a word, but I have a reason. That's why I came back to tell you that and apologize because I know what I did was wrong. I want you back Storm because I still love you,"

"What else are you going to explain Kaye? That's in the past and I don't plan to listen to what you have to say anymore. Do you think I still want you? No, Kaye. I'm not stupid to go back to the person who left me. I'm already happy and contented with my life, I don't need you anymore,"

I saw she cried because of what I said but she knows me, I'm a straightforward person.

"Storm, I have my reason why I did that thing. Our company had a problem so I had no choice but to leave to help fix it. I know it's wrong that I didn't tell you or I didn't even say goodbye but at that time I couldn't think properly, all I could think about was my family and our company,"

"Did you even think about how I would feel? You left without saying goodbye, you could have said it to me but you didn't. Do you think I will still accept your explanation? I do understand that your family needs you, but why not inform me about it? I will allow you to go. Do you think I'm narrow-minded to not understand that your family needs you? I'm not stupid to not understand but you choose to be selfish!" I said emphatically.

"I know and I accept the mistake I made, that's why I insisted that everything be fine to go back here. And now that everything is stable again, I came home here so I can talk to you. Storm I know that you still love me,"

I just can't help but laugh because of what she was saying.

"What's so funny? I'm serious about what I'm telling you!" She was annoyed.

"What's so funny? You and the things you are saying. How many years have passed and you think I still love you, Kaye? If you just came here to explain then be it. I'll accept your explanation to end all of this shit. Are you okay now? Then you can leave." I said.

"W-what do you mean?"

"You're not stupid and don't understand what I'm saying right?" I asked her.

"I don't understand you Storm, I know everything isn't that easy. I was expecting this to happen but please, I know we still can fix it. We have so many memories together and I know we can get them back we're the same as before. I won't leave your side and I won't hide anything from you anymore,"

"Which of what I said did you not understand? Where do you get the courage to face me now after what you did? You don't know how much you hurt me, Kaye, you don't know what I went through when you left! You know what I went through but what did you do? You also left me behind! You left me too! I even questioned myself about what I did wrong because I didn't even know anything about your reason!" I snort at her.

"I know that thing, that's why I'm here in front of you now. I want to explain to you because I still love you! Storm, I haven't lost my love for you since I left, I'm thinking about you each day. I'm ready to do everything just to win you back. Just tell me what you want me to do,"

I stood up and looked at her seriously. "You know what I want now Kaye? Is that you getting out of my life? Don't disturb my life anymore because I'm fine. So if you don't have anything to say, you can leave, I have a lot to do and if I don't I will waste my time on unimportant things,"
