Storm POV

I saw that my sister was in the pool area so I went to see her. I noticed how quiet she had been in the past few days. I just didn't have time to talk to her because I was busy with the project I was fixing here. We have also decided to return to the Philippines when I have finished what I will do here.

"Are you okay?" I asked her as soon as I got close.

"Yes, brother."

"Are you sure? You don't have to lie to me anymore." I said.

She snorted. "Because what I say is true, brother,"

I laughed. "Pretend I didn't notice you were upset with Nigel." I tease her.

"What are you talking about? You and Bea are really good, you're both saying the wrong thing,"

"You can't deny Kiara, so what's wrong?" I asked.

I heard her sigh. "It's annoying, brother, after he invited me to that resort when we got home, he stopped talking to me! Let told me that he loves me and that he won't give up, and now he's avoiding me,"

I laughed because of her nagging. "I thought you hate him and don't want him in your life anymore. That's why you always push him away and now you're upset because he ignores you." I said.

"I'm not saying that he needs to talk to me, why does he greeted you and Bea when he's here at home, and then I'm like air to him,'

"Isn't that what you want? And now that he's doing it you're angry." I asked her.

"You know brother, you're not helping. Get out of my sight,"

"Why don't you just admit that you still love him? You don't have to stop yourself from going back to him because it's obvious that's what you want to do. Yes, your mouth is saying something but it's something else dictated by your heart. In your mind you hate him but in your heart you still love him." I said seriously.

"I didn't lose my love for him quickly, you know that he was my only boyfriend even though many tried to court me, I still fell for Nigel, but brother, you also know what I went through, no it's easy to trust. What if what happened to us happens again? We'll only hurt each other,"

"How did you say it will happen again? You both learn from your mistake because of what happened. It's all about lack of communication. You are no longer a child because you have a son, I know you will choose what you know is right for your family. You need to face your fear Kiara and don't give in to what if's because that thing won't bring anything good. How can you know the result if you haven't tried it yet?" I said.

"I'm trying brother, I'm already talking to him right?"

"But that's not enough, Kiara, and I know you know that. You need to talk about what you plan for your family because one wrong decision of yours will affect Chase. I know you and Nigel both don't want your child to experience not having a complete family because it's too hard. And Kiara you need to heal your wounds and while doing that you have to accept what happened in the past. Forget, accept, forgive and start a new life. It's not bad to gamble again because that's when you'll know if you're meant for each other. If you want to be happy you need to let go of the things that give you worries and pain. If you really can't accept Nigel in your life anymore then let him go but if you still want to be with him then choose to forgive." I said. I need her to realize what her decision should be. It can't be the two of them just chasing each other but in the end, there is no end in sight.

"I will try to do it brother, I just need to think carefully first,"

I smiled at her. "I'm so proud of you," I said.

"I'm more proud of you brother,"

"Always remember that no matter what you decide, I will support you. Maybe Nigel's decision is right for the time being so you can think properly." I said.

"W-what do you mean brother?"

"He is leaving," I answered her.

"What? Where is he going?"

"He's going back to the Philippines, their company needs him, and one more thing for you to think about. He doesn't want to rush you." I said.

"He didn't even tell me, is he that mad at me?"

"Nigel can't be angry with you because he loves you. In truth, he doesn't want to go home but he thinks that it won't do you any good if you see him. He will let you heal first." I explained to her.

"No, he can't leave us." I frowned because of what she said.

"You're the one who likes it, right? Because it hurts you when you see him. He did you a favor, Kiara." I said.

She didn't speak and was silent for a while. "What time is his flight?"

"I know it's 3 pm but I'm sure he'll go to the airport early," I answered.

"I still have time." heard her whisper while looking at her watch.

"What are you talking about? Are you crazy?" I asked her.

"Whatever brother, I'm leaving."

"Where are you going?" I ask.

"I will talk to him first," she said and then ran inside the house.

I just shook my head, I thought that only in my movie would you see this scenario where the two protagonists are enemies and one of them is acting. When you leave, you will be recognized and chased. It's the same in real life. After all, my parents are the same way, they fight a few times before finally settling down. Kiara belongs to them.
