As it traveled the world, it met the Six-Path Flower and the Divine Tree. Together, they opened the Plant Era by challenging the Chaos Dragon God. Its signature skill, the Star Splitting Sword Intent, proved to be a terrifying ability. It was familiar with the Six-Path Flower enough to know that the sword intent wasn’t suitable for it.
Luckily, the swordgrass accompanying the Six-Path Flower was one of the plants it enlightened at the dawn of the Plant Era. Visually, the swordgrass and the Void Grass looked very similar. The only difference was that the Void Grass was pitch black while the longleaf swordgrass was emerald green. Even if the swordgrass wasn’t able to reach its level after inheriting the sword intent, it should still be able to become a valuable aide to Six-Path Flower.
The Six-Path Flower nodded in agreement. Although it never spent time with the Void Grass in this lifetime, it could clearly feel how much the Void Grass treasured their friendship. It didn’t stop thinking about the war even after it died.

It gently pushed the swordgrass toward the Void Grass.
The swordgrass was clearly confused as it never expected such a windfall.

It tried to be gentle, but the process itself was inherently a brutal one. As the swordgrass continued to transform, the Void Grass became increasingly impressed. Its talent could be considered in the top three of all swordgrasses throughout history. Its chances of surviving the inheritance process increased once more.
As everyone focused on the swordgrass’ evolution, something made them turn their heads. While the swordgrass was transforming, Captain Doofus sat on the castle with its eyes closed. A blinding light suddenly poured out of its body. Sudden Death King who was nearby felt a stinging sensation.
When Captain Doofus opened its eyes again, its pupils had a galaxy of stars within them.
It had comprehended the Star Splitting Sword Intent! The Kinship skill combined with its extraordinary comprehension allowed it to comprehend the sword intent by sensing it rushing through the void. Facing the stunned looks from Six-Path Flower and Void Grass, it gave a cocky smirk.
This sword intent is mine now!
"What the hell is going on?" The Void Grass was in disbelief.
It was passing on the sword intent to the swordgrass, so how did a dog beat it to the punch?
"The swordgrass is that husky’s kin. The swordgrass’ talent is so high thanks to that dog." Six-Path Flower’s mouth twitched as it gave an explanation.

"In that case, I will help it some more by hunting some void beasts with it," the Void Grass said as it quickly flew over to Captain Doofus.

Captain Doofus bristled up, preparing to fight.
"Relax." Lu Ran comforted Captain Doofus and smiled.
From what the Void Grass said, it was about to go the extra mile for Captain Doofus.
