Chapter 21: Chapter 21
Gabriella pulled away from him and sigh. Anthon decided to ignore the sigh, ‘this woman is really testing my patience. How the hell am I ever going to get to fuck her if she takes this relationship so damn slow,’ he thinks inpatient with her.
“I will drop you off at your house and then pick you up at 7 pm, ok?” Anthon says.
“Sure, thank you.”
When they arrived at her house Gabriella got out of his car, “see you in a bit.”
“Wear something nice,” Anthon says before he drove off.
‘What is that supposed to mean,’ she wondered.
Gabriella is not happy about the fact that she had to spend another night with Anthon. She feels this relationship is a waste of her time as she does not feel the same way as he does but she does not know how to let him off gently, ‘perhaps I should just tell him straight tonight.’
Gabriella is not sure what to wear. She knew she didn’t want to look nice for him. ‘I should dress down so that he might think me not his type,’ she thinks as she throws another dress on her bed.
Gabriella decided she will take a shower first and then decide what to wear. While she is showering, she thought about Zurier and his physiotherapy program. She were still in the shower when she heard honking outside, “crap!”
Gabriella quickly wrapped her towel around her and ran downstairs. As she reaches the last step her doorbell rang.
Gabriella opened the door, “I am so sorry, I lost track of time.”
“No worries, there is still time,” Anthon says. Gabriella walked up her stairs not realizing that the higher she got the more she is exposed.
Anthon could feel himself grow, looking up at her buttocks; slightly showing before she reaches the first landing of the steps. Anthon took a big gulp and went to her kitchen to drink a glass of cold water to calm himself down. He is so ready to just let his demon out and force himself on her.
Gabriella had her hair in a messy high bun and a plain dress that is mid-length under her knees. The dress is boring. Gabriella is wearing flat pumps. As she came down the stairs, she noticed Anthon’s disappointed look.
‘Well, that is one way to let down a boner,’ he thought to himself.
“Have you ever been to The Roost?” Anthon asks, with a disapproving look on his face.
“Nope,” Gabriella says as she grabs her handbag.
“Remind me next time to get my stylist for you,” he says as Gabriella literally ran out of her house to make sure he does not ask her to change. Gabriella just laughs at his comment.
Gabriella tried several times to talk to Anthon about their relationship but every time she does, he swiftly changes the subject.
‘I can not believe she is trying to break up with me and this relationship didn’t even start yet,’ he thought to himself, trying to think of his next move.
Even though the dinner is great, Gabriella made sure the conversation is boring, yawning a lot and giving stupid responses to the conversation. It got so bad that Anthon decided to call it a night.
“Dessert?” the waiter asks.
“No thank you, just the bill,” Anthon says quickly before Gabriella could order anything.
Gabriella smiled, ‘my plan is actually working,’ she thought.
“So, tell me about your work assignment?” Anthon asks on their way home, pretending to be interested.
Gabriella explained to him who Zurier is and that got Anthon worried, ‘good thing he has memory loss,’ he thought. ‘I wonder if he saw anything that night, I don’t remember seeing anyone or hearing anyone,’ Anthon thinks back at the night when his friends and himself raped Gabriella.
‘Wonder what they will say if I tell them that I am dating the girl of that night,’ he smiles at the thought.
“What are you thinking about?” Gabriella asks when she realized that Anthon is no longer making small talk with her but deep in thought, smiling. “Us,” Anthon says, changing to 5th gear to drive faster.
Gabriella got out of Anthon’s car, “thank you for dinner, see you tomorrow.”
“No kiss goodnight?” Anthon reached over and grabbed her arm pulling her back into the car. Anthon plugs a kiss on her face not even aiming for her mouth.
“Anthon! Do you always have to be so rough?” Gabriella asks as she got out of the car again.
“I can be gentle, do you want me to show you,” he smiles mischievously.
Gabriella rolled her eyes, “goodnight Anthon.”
Anthon sped off without another word.
‘Thank goodness he didn’t manoeuvrer his way into my house again,’ Gabriella sighs with relief.
Gabriella worked for another two hours on her work assignment before she went to bed.
The next day Doctor Sandra is happy with her proposal for Zurier and gave her the go-ahead to start therapy.
“Good morning,” Gabriella walks into Zurier's room.
“Good morning, how is your evening?” Zurier asks, interested.
“Busy, working on your therapy program,” she answers but suspecting he wanted to know about her dinner.
“I think it will be a good idea if we move you into a room with another person. How would you feel about that?” Gabriella suggests as she remembers how lonely she used to get when she is in the hospital.
“That will be great,” Zurier is happy to have some company.
“Good, I will write it up in your file for the nurses to move you as soon as possible,” Gabriella says taking his file and making some notes in it.
Gabriella explained to Zurier his physical therapy program for the next three months.
“Do you really think I will be mobile enough in three months’ time to be discharged from the hospital?”
“If my speculations are correct, yes,” Gabriella answers with confidence.
“Speculations?”
“Well, I think it is just your nervous system that needs to be activated. I can feel your muscles working so that is a good sign.”
“Let’s start, shall we?” Gabriella lifted his one arm and placed it over her hand, his palm on the top of her hand. Gabriella could feel the electric energy again but decided to ignore it. Gabriella opens and closes her hand so that Zurier can feel the motion.
