FINDING OUT THE TRUTH 1

Brenda stomped out of her room straight to her brother's room without even knocking showing how mad she was but only to find him with Victoria.

"Victoria"She called in surprised, wondering what she is doing in her brother room.

"Brenda" She called happily, Brenda just stand there eye fixed on her brother who looks so uncomfortable.

"What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Have you forgotten my Job?. I had to deliver the new list of students attending the school, I was planning on visiting you before leaving but now that you are here. How are you?" Victoria looks okay but why is Adam just looking around like he is up to something before.

"Can I talk to my brother for a secs, I will join you outside. If you don't mind can we go shopping today?"I asked.

"You know I don't mind as long as we are using a cute guy credit card" Victoria replied, taking a glare at Adam, the blood pack Beta and also Vincent best friend.

"Sure" Brenda chuckled, knowing his brother won't be able to reject it since Victoria is involved.

Victoria, walked out for them to talk and Brenda face changed instantly.

"Why is Alpha Vincent getting so free with that strange woman, she isn't even from out pack" She yelled, angrily so much that someone outside can also join the conversation.

"Ain't you happy, he isn't cold like before?" Adam replied, and pick some papers on his table and arrange them carefully.

"What if she is here on a mission?" Brenda asked, with a look of concerned.

"She is gorgeous, and that is exactly what matters the most. It will be so easy to eliminate her, only a fool will try to spy on us" Adam replied, confidently with his eye skimming through the list of people who joined the school.

"Are you even listening to me or you are been blinded by her divine auras too?" Brenda asked, completely pissed off by the fact no one is listening to her.

"You know, if you had a boyfriend. You won't be bothered by someone's else love life" Adam replied, without even stealing a glance at her.

"Are you..." She looks so furious right now and about to lose it before Adam face turned.

"Don't say I did not warn you people when everything starts falling" She added, and stomped out his room angrily to meet Victoria who is sure waiting for her.

Meanwhile, Vincent and Laura where seated at the dinning room waiting for the maid to serve them their meal. It didn't take long, when the food arrived but non of them could keep their eye off Laura making her move uncomfortably.

"Why are they all staring at me like that" Laura whispered, to Vincent.

"You are gorgeous, let them stare" Vincent replied, her cheek flushed red as she couldn't help but smile at his comment over her beauty.

"Is there anything else you need, My king?" a young lady, dressed up in her maiden clothes asked.

"Nothing, but I don't know if my love is okay with it. Are you?" Vincent turn to Laura, who was too shy to even say a word.

"You can leave us now" Vincent ordered, they bowed and walk away fast because they can't wait to gossips about it.

"She is gorgeous and look calm" Tina, the chief maid who is always assigned to Jessica during her presence started the conversation immediately they return back to the kitchen.

"Is she even from this pack?. How did our king found her?" Finda, another maid replied.

"That's not even the point, I can't believe Alpha Vincent had forgotten about his sweet wife already" Joy, Jessica spy who is shocked to discover he now have a new wife and can't wait to disclose it to Jessica.

"What! that evil witch shouldn't even think of coming back here" Finda declared.

"I agree with you, she was so mean right from day one" Tina adds.

"I hope your mouth don't put you in trouble, I have other works to do" Joy said, with a hiss and walked away.

"What's wrong with her?" Tina asks, mocking her.

"You know she should to be Jessica's favourite, that witch. If she ever step leg in this palace again then I will be glad to cut the off as Alpha Vincent had ordered" Finda added.

"Same here, I can't wait for Alpha Vincent to introduce her to everybody" Tina stated.

"You are lucky because you are definitely her personal maid" Finda replied.

"That's true, I better go get myself prepared" Tina said, and walked away excitedly.

Jessica, stays hideous at her friend house. Danika, had been her bestfriend even before she met Vincent. Even though, her jaws dropped seeing her again after so many years, she welcome her home and promise to keep it a secret even though it cost her life.

Danika, is still yet to married and gradually becoming a lone wolf since she can't seem to find her mate until the full moon war is over which she don't even think anyone would survive it.

"So tell me, why are you here?"Danika asks her, passing her a glass of water to drink.

"It's a long story"Jessica replied, and gulp down the glass of water.

"Cut it short, I have no where to go today"Danika replied.

She sigh deeply and drop the glass of water on the table in the front of her then begin to explain how everything happened. How Andre, beats her everyday and never returned for months, years even with the fact he doesn't want a child.

"Omg! he is a monster" Danika added, feeling pity for her friend.

"That's all what happened but I'm glad to be here."She sigh deeply again.

"What do you plan on doing here where you can't even walk freely without being thrown a stone" Danika asked.

"And that's is why I will be meeting with the queen mother and I need your help"Jessica replied.

Danika looks kind of confused wondering what she meant by meeting with the queen mother.

"Wait, don't tell me you are here to take your place back with Vincent"She asked, hoping to be false.

"Of course, even though it will hard now that he has a new brat he called wife"Jessica replied.

"This is crazy! Don't even try it, just because the queen mother support you. After you left Vincent threw his own mother out of the palace to live outskirts where he pays her a visit once in a while. He hates woman guts, he is more cold , arrogant and dangerous. I will advise you as a friend to stay away from him even though recently, I notice he isn't harming anyone at all and seems to be busy with other things" Danika explained, to her.

"So, no one knows about Vincent new fiancee?. Wow, she isn't from the pack either" Jessica's thought to herself.

"I think it will be more easy, the queen mother doesn't stay with him anymore. So I can just go there and explain everything to her" She said, excitedly.

"Explain what exactly?" Danika, asked.

"I didn't come here to play, I need to go see the queen mother as soon as possible" She stand to her feet and starts to put on her disguise.

"Right now?" Danika asked, surprised.

"You said it earlier, that you are only free today" Jessica replied.

"What if she had changed?" Danika asked, because what they are about to do will cost her own life.

"Trust me" Jessica added, assuring her everything would be fine.

But unfortunately, the queen mother they are going in search of is already on her way to the Kings palace where her husband had ruled for years before he died during the full moon war that happened years back and she won't let that happen to her son just because of woman.

"The queen mother is here" the guard announced, Vincent who seems to be enjoying his meal with Laura mood changes instantly as he knew his mother is only here to cause trouble.

"Vincent" She barged into the dinning room angrily but stopped when she saw Laura who looks lost wondering what is happening.

"She is the one?" Vincent mom's, asks.

"Mom...what are you doing here?" Vincent asks.

"You can't be here, young lady because all I perceive and see is innocent blood around you" She stated.

"What!" Laura stands to her feet in anger.

"Mom, cab we not do this here?" Vincent pleaded, but we wouldn't listen as she rage off to Laura but a force push her back even before she could near her.

Vincent looked shocked because he saw it, he saw the auras around Laura that pushed his mom back.

"What is happening?" Laura asked, wondering what had just happened.

"She's from the silver pack?" His Mom mentioned still on the floor.

Vincent quickly move close to Laura and immediately he touched her the auras disappeared to his surprise.

"Go inside, I will join you soon. Don't leave the room because I will send for you if anything goes wrong"He whispered to her, caressing her hand.

"What's happening?. Why does your mother hates me so much?" she asks.

"No dear, she doesn't hate you. I love you and she do too" he smiled at her.

"Are you sure?" She asks.

"Follow the guards" He replied.

Laura, was taken away by the guards and Vincent was left alone with his mother who won't stop causing trouble.

"What did you just do?" he faced his Mom.

"She is from the silver pack!" She replied.

"What does that have to do with..." He gots interrupted by her.

"You saw it, Didn't you?" She look at him, carefully.

"Saw what?" He asked, pretending not to have seen how powerful her auras, wolf turns out to be. They had just protected her from his mother rage and he can't deny that.

"Vincent, you are choosing a destructive path and I won't be there to save you!" She cried.

"Mom! She is my fucking mate" he whispered, trying not to let anyone hear it.

" I don't know why the moon goddess chooses you to protect that lady but I won't endanger your life for someone's daughter life" She whispered, angrily back.

"I will only understand you if everything you say to me is more understandable" he replied.

"Sit down!" She ordered him.

They both settled down on a seat ready to talk about what just happened.

"She was born with a strong power, no one else was born with and it was a compensation for the life of her mother that was lost. Her father, who was meant to protect her must be dead I guess because it was predestined!. All Alphas from around the world will go extreme to figure out what can keep them safe in the coming full moon war and unfortunately, that lady you are keeping there is their solution and they would do anything to harm the pack to have her. She must be the kick-ass heroine Alpha of the silver pack, they would come begging for her anytime soon"

"You can't be with her, you were both born on the same day but different years, the moon goddess had picked you to help her in the future but you will also have to die as a compensation of the baby you will both be having on the full moon war. I can't let you die just like your father because you are my last hope, Can you just forget about her and be with Jessica again. I will go find her myself and bring her back" She begged, while Vincent jus sit there trying to put together all her words.

"Don't mention that woman name and how did you know so much about this?" He asked.

"Vincent, it wouldn't be necessary discussing about that" She replied.

"I want to know!" He declared.

"You know about her father death! Tell me you are not involved in this!. You knew my mate right from day one and let me get involved with that witch just to protect me and now it is all still coming to pass!' He yelled, angrily!.
