Chapter 95: Chapter 95
"Just a step further," Cole said to Amy. He had his hands over her eyes as she walked out of the house.
"Cole," she chuckled. "What's going on?" She asked.
"Just relax, babe," he said as he guided her. Then, he took his hands off her eyes. "There, love," he added.
Amy opened her eyes and she was immediately surprised by the peach range Rover parked in front of her. "Cole," she turned around to look at him and he smiled, holding a raised car key in his hand.
"Your ride," he said sweetly.
She squealed in disbelief as she went over to the car, running her fingers on it to be sure she wasn't dreaming. It dawned on her that wasn't in a dream and she ran over to Cole, hugging him tightly.
He chuckled as he buried his fingers in her hair.
She pulled away a little to look at him. "You shouldn't have, or are you tired of picking me up from work?" She inquired.
"I love bringing you home, Amy. But, I felt this would be more conducive for you just in case I don't get the opportunity to pick you," he explained.
"Why would you say that?" She asked, raising her brows in perplexity.
He shrugged. "Well, I didn't want to break the news this way,"
"What news?" She questioned, having a feeling that she wouldn't like what he was about to say.
He brushed aside a wayward strand of her hair. "Can we at least celebrate first?" He asked, unable to tell her yet. He didn't want to ruin the moment before them.
"Cole..." She called his name in a tone that indicated he needed to start talking.
He sighed. "Fine," he replied as he gathered her in his arms. "I'll be going for a business trip tomorrow," he finally spilled.
"What?" She exclaimed softly as she pulled away from his arms.
"Come on.." he said pulling her back to himself but she brushed him off.
"It's so soon. Why didn't you tell me?" She asked.
"I didn't know my presence will be needed, love. I thought my representative would be able to handle the situation over there," he replied.
"Where?" She asked him, staring at him.
He raked his hair with his fingers. "New York,"
"New York?!" She exclaimed loudly in distraught.
"Babe.. " he sighed as he walked over to her, but she lifted a finger, indicating that he should stay right where he was. He was frustrated as he did as he was told.
"So, how long will this trip take?" She asked.
He looked away from her. How could he comfortably tell her how long he would be gone if she could react this way to him leaving for another country?
"Cole," she said impatiently.
"A week," he responded as he raked his fingers in his hair again.
"A week?! And you're just telling me?" She shrieked.
"I just explained to you that I didn't know my presence would be needed," he reiterated.
She scoffed as she turned away from him. "A very good explanation," she replied.
He walked over to her and hugged her from behind. He placed a kiss on her hair. "Forgive me love, if I had a way of staying back, I would have," he apologized.
She tried to move away from him, but he held her back. "Please, let's not ruin this morning for us. Instead of getting mad at me, why don't we make use of the little moments left, hm?" He suggested.
She sighed. "Does Tris know?" She asked.
"I doubt if he would notice my absence. He's been very busy enjoying himself in the pack house, but, I'll tell him," he replied.
"You know he's coming back this week right?"
"I know," he said as he turned her around to look at him. He cupped her face. "Believe me, I'll be back before you say Jack Robinson,"
"Jack Robinson," she said, looking at him wide eyed. "Are you back?" She asked.
He chuckled with a smile as he kissed her forehead. He placed her head on his chest, his hand behind her neck as he caressed her.

Tris walked side by side with his grandfather. Mr Darrel was showing Tris round the Dark Moon pack. "This will all be yours one day. I want you prepared, Tris," he said.
Tris looked around the pack house, noticing the trees and the hills in a distance. "What about my father?" He asked.
"He's still the alpha, my boy. But, there will come a time he will have you retire just like me and you would take over the reins of leadership," Mr Darrel replied as he folded his hands behind his back.
"Is that what happened between you two?" Tris asked and Mr Darrel nodded. "Well, I don't think I have what it takes to be an alpha. My father can just continue,"
"Do not say that," Mr Darrel rebuked him immediately. "The son of a Dark Moon has all that it takes to be an alpha. It is not just something he learns, he is born with it. Born with all the qualities of leader. To rule. To defend. To protect,"
"But, grandpapa, I'm not tough. Look at my little arms," Tris sighed, not entirely convinced that he could be an alpha some day.
Mr Darrel chuckled as he ruffled Tris hair. "My boy, you're yet to undergo your change. Wait till your wolf comes out and then, we shall have this discussion again," he said. "Is that alright?" He added.
"Hmm," Tris responded, nodding his head with a smile.

Cole and Amy arrived at his yacht. He had made a romantic dinner reserved for them. Amy in her black shouldered dress looked ravishing. The dress had a slit that ran from her thigh down to the hem of the dress. Her black stilettoes with rhinestones at the cup of the heels complemented her dress.
Cole's outfit complemented hers too. He was dressed in a black suit. The inner white sleeves were unbuttoned down, revealing his chest.
He held her hand like one of those princes straight out of a movie as he led her to the top of the yacht. They got to the dinner table and Cole pulled her chair backwards.
"Thank you," she said with a smile as she got seated.
Cole got seated too and signaled to the steward on standby. The steward came over and poured them two glasses of red wine. On the table was chocolate covered strawberries, beef steaks marinated in lemon juice and olive wail, beside it was tuna salads.
A romantic music began to play soothingly.
"No way, this is my favorite song," Amy exclaimed softly in surprise and glee as the steward walked away.
Cole smiled. "I know," he picked up his glass as she did the same.
"You do know how to tender an apology," she said as she sipped from her wine.
"More like, I'm making memories to help us through this coming week," he replied, not touching his wine as he watched her seductively.
" Ugh.. don't remind me, " she said. She braced up, not letting his sudden trip dampen her mood.
"Forgive me," he apologized.
They began to eat and talk for a little while, but Cole's mind wasn't on the dinner and neither was hers. The feel of the ocean breeze was an added aphrodisiac to the waves of feelings they had before.
Their fingers brushed as they both reached for the chocolate covered strawberries, and they looked at each other.
"Dinner isn't on my mind right now," he said huskily as he lifted her finger coated in chocolate and sucked on it. His eyes teasing her.
"What is it?" She asked, her voice croaked with unseen desire.
"Taking you out of that dress," he replied, his eyes staring intensely into hers.
Her heart raced. "It is quite uncomfortable," she said and that was all he needed.
Soon, they were in his room in the yacht, his hands all over her body as his lips connected with hers. He pinned her to the wall, her legs wrapped around him. Her fingers dug into the blades of his shoulders as she took off his jacket in frantic desperation.
She moaned as he sucked on her neck, creating hickeys. She angled her neck, giving him room to mark his territory.
He gave attention to all part of her body and she did the same as she dropped on her knees and tried to fit all of his inches into her mouth. Unable to, she sucked on it and he clinged to her hair as he angled his head back in throes of ecstasy.
In a few minutes, stark naked, he bent her against the wall and rammed hard into her. With her hands placed on the wall for support, Amy moaned to each of his strokes. He took her right there and nobody heard her screams.
