Chapter 80: Chapter 80

Amy woke up the next morning on Cole’s bed. She stretched and yawned as she remembered that she and Tris did not go back home after the dinner with Cole. She pulled up to a sitting position, her nakedness, the evidence what transpired last night. They could barely get enough of each other as their hands were everywhere on each other’s body, melting together and fusing as one as they climbed the highest peak of their climax.

Amy relived in the aftermath of their lovemaking as she pulled the bedsheets over her breasts. Just then, the door opened, revealing a half dressed Cole, bearing a tray of breakfast. He broke into a wide smile as he looked at her.

"Good morning, love,”

Amy smiled back. "Good morning,” She responded and inhaled

deeply when he sat beside her with the tray.

"I brought you breakfast,” he said with a smile.

"Smells heavenly,” she responded, smiling. “When did you get the time to make something?” She asked as she looked at the bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, sliced bread and orange juice.

"Well, let's just say it’s my charm. Getting up early,” he replied with a small smile.

"What about Tris?” Amy asked.

“He has had his breakfast and he’s watching Tv,” Cole responded.

“Okay. Are you not going to join me?” Amy asked, looking at the meal like it was too much for her.

“It’s for you, but if you want me to,” he said.

"Please, do,” she coaxed him as she scooped some scrambled eggs into her mouth.

"How does it taste?” Cole asked, looking at her eagerly.

Amy moaned, closing her eyes as her taste buds tingled. “Just Perfect,” she responded, opening her eyes with a smile and an ok. sign fingers.

Cole grinned. “I guess I can whip up something this good," he said.

"It’s not just good. It’s amazing,” Amy said, taking another scoop. “Here, have a bite,” she said as she stretched the spoon to his mouth and he took a bite.

He grinned. "I really I’m the best at anything,” he said and she giggled.

As they ate together, Cole asked. “Are you staying over?”

She tilted her brows. "Do you want me to stay over?” She asked.

He skidded his hand up to her thighs. “Very much," he said with sheepish eyes.

She chuckled. "In as much as I would love to stay, Kayla and I are not done with the wedding preparations,” she explained.

“Oh,” he said with a sad look in his eyes. "What about This?" He asked.

She sighed. “He has a rehearsal. You know he is part of the little groom’s train,” She said.

He groaned. "So, I cannot have my family around me today?"

She chuckled. "Don’t worry, tomorrow is still there,” she assured him and he sulked.

She loved the way he looked boyish when he sulked. He was more like Tris. “Tell Kayla to postpone everything till tomorrow,” he said.

“You know I can't do that,” she responded.

Just then her phone beeped. It was a text from Kayla. Amy picked up the phone and read through the message.

“Speak of the devil, she's asking if I’m on my way already,"

'Alright, I’ll take these to the kitchen and you can freshen up,” he said, standing up as he took the tray.

“Thank you,” she said Lovingly. He placed a kiss on her cheek and walKed away.

Amy was all ready to leave the house, as cole had insisted, she wore his clothes as she couldn’t wear the dress of last night any more. His cologne engulfed her in his hoodie. She was wearing his hoodie which was so perfect for her, except the joggers that were way too long.

She walked out of the room, downstairs and met Tris in the living room all cleaned up in a different outfit. Cole noticed the surprise on Amy’s face. “Oh, I got him that when I was still getting to know him. I saw it in a store and liked it,” he explained.

She smiled. Just as she was about to speak, Tris interrupted her. “Mom, you’re wearing daddy's clothes,” he said giggling.

Cole grinned. “Yeah, right,” he said as he slips his hand around her waist.

Amy rolled her eyes. "Fine, you’ve had your laugh. Can we go now? Aunt Kayla is waiting,”

Tris went over to her. “Are we coming back?"

“Yes,” Amy replied.

"When?”

"Soon,”

''How soon? I love my room, mom. It’s cool, "

"Relax, Tris. You will come back," Amy assured him.

"I've assigned one of the gammas to take you to Kayla," Cole said to Amy and she nodded.

“Thank you," she said and turned to Tris. “Come on," she said

"Bye, dad,” Tris waved.

“Bye," Cole waved back as he accompanied them to the door. "'Are you not missing something?" He asked Amy before she could walk out the door.

“What?” She asked, puzzled.

He pulled her back and his hand encircled her waist. “This,” he said and with that he gingerly kissed her lips.

“Eww… gross,” Tris said looking away.

After a few seconds, he pulled away, unsatisfied, but had no choice. He smiled. "'There,"

She chuckled. "Take care,” she said and with that, she and Tris walked towards the car. Cole stood by the door and watched them get into the car and the gamma drove them out of the gate. With a sigh, he retreated and closed the door. He wished every day could be like what he had experienced this morning, with Amy and Tris, not having to return to their apartment. He wished he would wake up every morning with Amy beside him and he knew he had to make that wish come to reality.

As he mounted the stairs, he heard the door bell ring and his heart surged, thinking it was Amy coming back. Did she forget something or has she managed to convince Kayla to adjust their schedule? He wondered as he hastened over to the door.

“Did you….” he was about to ask if she cancelled her plans as he opened the door, but he fell silent as his eyes landed on the familiar figure he didn’t ever dream of seeing now.

"Hi, baby,” Shantel said with a devilish smile.
