"I don't have any intention of surrendering myself, Ross." Alpha Clause sneered back at him, "So you either surrender to me, or else..."

Alpha Ross scoffed at him, "Why would I want to surrender to you?!"

Before we could react, Alpha Ross shifted into his Lycan form and attacked us along with his rogues. Alpha Clause also shifted into his Lycan form and I shifted into my wolf form as we fought back.

The rogues were much stronger than the ones that we faced in the past, making it harder for us to defeat them. However, Alpha Clause was faster, stronger and smarter than Alpha Ross, making it hard for Alpha Ross to keep up. Alpha Clause also had a higher advantage because of his true Lycan blood; both of his parents were Lycans.

As my Alpha mate, Alpha Clause took on Alpha Ross and three other rogues at the same time, I was fighting three rogues in my wolf form. One of them, a blue- grey one lunged for my throat, but Alpha Clause caught the rogue's shoulder in his jaws and crushed it, making the rest of the rogues retreat from my Alpha mate.

"No, Ross." Alpha Clause growled as he bit into the neck of the blue- grey rogue that was trying to bite him, "I'm going to end this, not you."

"You're just a weakling!" Alpha Ross hissed at him, "If you don't surrender yourself now, I will make sure that your Luna mate dies here, tonight!"

Before I knew what was going on, Alpha Ross rushed to me with his Lycan speed and wrapped his fingers around my neck, his long, filthy claws digging into the skin on my neck, making me wince. I tried to get loose by throwing my elbow back at him, but he just stepped closer and wrapped his other arm around me, locking me in place.

"Let me go, rogue!" I commanded through my clenched jaw as I felt angry at his audacity.

"Not a chance, you sweet, little thing." Alpha Ross murmured against my ear, making shivers of discomfort and disgust creep up my spine. I jerked away and he let out a cackle, making me feel irritated at the sound.

"Let her go now, Ross!"

Alpha Clause threw the now very injured rogue away from him as he whimpered. The frown on his brows deepened out of both worry and anger. I could see his jaw clench out of anger as he glared at Alpha Ross with so much hatred. His hands were also twitching as if he was trying hard to control himself from acting irrationally since Alpha Ross had me in his hold.

"Not a chance, I am going to take her away from you, Clause. I'm going to make sure that you live a very miserable life without your mate!" Alpha Ross snapped with a wicked smirk on his face as he watched my Alpha mate's reaction.

"Fay is safe as long as I'm here, I will protect her with my life, no matter what happens." Alpha Clause growled as his fists clenched and unclenched as if trying to calm himself down, "You can try to take her away or hurt her, but I'll never let that happen and I swear that I'll make you regret ever laying your hands on her."

His captivating, yet worried amber eyes captured mine for a few seconds, making my worries float away as I realized that he had a plan. His entrancing deep voice floated into my head through mind link as he murmured, 'Don't worry, baby, I'll get us out of this and make him pay.'

'I know you will, honey.'

Alpha Ross laughed at him with a sinister smirk, pulling our attention back to him, "You think you're strong enough to fight me? Well, I know that I am! I could easily tear you apart and rip your heart out of your chest right here!"

Alpha Clause shook his head at him as he smirked back at him, "And yet, you still haven't killed me despite the fact that I'm a Lycan. What does that say about you, Ross?"

"Huh?" Alpha Ross laughed, "Do you really believe that you're strong or smart enough to intimidate me, Clause?"

Alpha Clause started stepping towards us, but Alpha Ross dug his Lycan claws against my skin, making me gasp in pain. He tsked, "Don't even try it or I'll sink my fangs into your mark on her sweet neck, making her mine instead of yours. You wouldn't want to lose your mate to me, now would you?"

"You wouldn't dare!" I growled at him in anger and he ignored me as he waited for Alpha Clause's reaction.

"Damn you!" Alpha Clause snarled back at him as his Lycan form became more prominent with his claws extending even more and his fangs growing along with his figure becoming larger and haunched.

"You're nothing but a pathetic, petty, arrogant, brute who thinks too highly of himself, and I'm not going to sit here and let you play this sick little game with us!"

Before any of us could understand what was going to happen next, Alpha Clause lunged for Alpha Ross using his Lycan speed. He was suddenly behind him as he wrapped his arms around his neck, making him let go of me. I gasped as I drew in much needed air into my lungs. I turned around to see Alpha Clause throwing Alpha Ross on the ground. They rolled on the floor, their bodies hitting against each other as they struggled to win this fight.

"You're going to regret this, Clause!" Alpha Ross shouted as his body was tossed away from him. He looked furious, ready for a fight, as he got to his feet again and stared at Alpha Clause, ready to pounce on him.

"I'll kill you!"

Alpha Clause chuckled, "You really think that I'd let you lay a single finger on me?"

"You're just a weakling whose only good quality is that you're loyal to your Luna mate." Alpha Ross mocked him, "But that won't last forever, I'll make sure of that and I will take everything from you once I've gotten what I want from you, Clause. Your Luna mate, your pack, the other Five, all the packs of the Five. Every single thing!"

"Enough with the threats." Alpha Clause snorted at him as he stepped in front of me in a protective manner, "Because I will make sure that you never get anything from me, especially not my Luna mate."
